Everything is great about renting car from EconomyBookings. Exept that I didn't find anywhere an information about deposit for a car returning. I wasn't informed about it in car rent company as well. So now I don't know, when my money will be realesed and return into my credit card. I was given a check (photo) that deposit is realesed, but in fact I still don't have my money back.
EconomyBookings offers the so-called "Full Coverage" insurance. This is a fake insurance company. After 65 business days, no response to my claim! Only Boot Aleksandr responded to my previous opinion. If you are looking for insurance that fully covers your own contribution, do not waste your money on Full Coverage provided by BookingGroup. A much better choice is insurance from a trusted company or travel insurance that covers this type of expenses.
I left a favorable review but did not leave anything in the comment section of the review. I was surprised to see my review with comments generated by the company stating how good of service they had provided. Smells like FRAUD to me. Car was as expected and friendly staff. Nothing out of the ordinary except fraudulent comment section of original review.

We rented our car weeks in advance of our trip to PHX. When we got to the desk to get our car we were told there were no cars available for 2 hours. There must have been 4 families ahead of us that were told the same thing. No explanation as to why there were no cars even though we all had a reservation paid for in advance. The fellow at the desk was not helpful at all and told folks they could go look elsewhere for a rental if they wanted. Folks with small children were at their wits end. To travel to PHX expecting to get on your way and then be told nothing but wait for 2 hours to get a car is unacceptable service. Although the price was fair in todays situation, it should and could have been handled much better than it was. This was a Thrifty Car Rental at PHX airport May 20 till June 4. A partial refund would be the way to go for this situation. Felt we were in a Seinfeld episode where they can take your reservation, but don't have have a car for you.

Used the Thrifty at Minneapolis Airport. The location was a bit confusing to find but once I found it the process was very fast. They changed me a $500 security deposit since I was using a debit card. That was a bit ridiculous. That $500 cut into my vacation money DEEP so that made it to where I had to do bare minimal on my trip. The car was in good shape but it smelled so weird. I dreaded getting into my car to go anywhere. The back seats weren't very clean either. If I'm paying a pretty penny for a rental, I want a pleasant experience and my experience was mediocre at best. Next time I'll use Turo!

Took extra time to pick up the vehicle when you are running on a tight timeline.
Vehicle was not clean inside, had a bad noise in the gear box. We were worried for the whole hire period that it would break down.

When when to the rental car company the person there offered me a full coverage insurance. I explained to him that I already got one from Economy booking but he said that it is not valid. Anyway I didn't got any coverage from the rental car company. After I returned the car since the office was not open I dropped of the keys and documents in a box as I was instructed. Gues what, on the next day I receved email fron the rental car company with final invoice and they charged me for scratched front bumper €234 euros and also for missing antena €78 euros. I contacted Economy Booking to be reimbursed since I paid Full Coverage. It took a month to get reimbursement but got it. My advice to them is carefully choose the rental car companies they have on their platform. This summer I rented cars true other platforms that I bought full coverage insurance and when I went to pick up the cars they already knew and said that I'm covered if anything happened.

I bought a full coverage insurance through economy booking and during the one month rental the car got scratched. The rental office wanted me to pay $150 which I did and when I asked for the money from the economy booking they kept running around, I am still waiting.
I did send all the proof and paperwork.

The car was fine. The car rental place was fine. My airline changed my return flight and I had to leave a day early. Everyone told me just bring the car back on the day I was leaving and everything would adjusted. So not true, read the fine print. I even called customer service and they told me the say thing. It is just approx. $60.00 but it is the principle of that I was lied to. I would suggest either cancelling and rebooking or just booking each day separate so that you can cancel any extra days w/o cancelling your whole reservation.

I booked a car through economybooking.com because it had the lowest price at my ideal location. The car was provided by Thrifty I rated high for my experience with thrifty. However, when picking up the car the counter asked me to pay for insurance which I didn't need because it's covered under my Visa. He insisted that it didn't cover liability. I didn't have time to argue for $18 so I let them have it. Scam? Maybe!

I did a last minute booking online and I was pleasantly surprised I was able to get an affordable price at such short notice. The car I got was in great condition and was clean with a full tank of petrol. It was super easy to navigate through the booking website and the staff responded really fast to all my questions via text and email. I opted for the after hours pick up and drop off since I was arriving and departing Auckland outside their normal operating hours. Everything was smooth sailing from the moment I was picked up in a free shuttle from the international terminal. Esther who was the shuttle bus driver from Aeroparks was really friendly and dropped me off right outside the international departure terminal. The only negative aspect was the yes rentals representatives had really strong accents which made it difficult to understand them over the phone. I felt really bad I had to ask them to repeat themselves on several occasions. Apart from that I would totally recommend this service if anyone is looking for a good affordable car.

Website permits to find what we wanted for a good price but once at the pick-up location, the renter made us waiting 90min and delivered a compact when I paid for a full size. No way to discuss when we brought car back, renter's systems were down and we had an aircraft to take…
We return the car with a full tank of gas I believe this company is charging too much money on the outside I paid $32 fuel the tank up they charge me $52 return it for I returned it with a half a tank I believe I should be reimbursed some money. Never sign up for their return full tank always top it off yourself.

Booking experience and value seemed good for a compact car.
My needs were basic, I needed inexpensive transportation for just me for a quick trip. Upon checking in for my car, I was told that I could pick my own car from the category but all cars were "probably" electric. Having never operated an electric car and being a "mature" driver, I was not comfortable about trying an electric car on my own. I think there should be an alert for drivers if an entire category at a location tends to be electric. Many drivers are still transitioning in acceptance of this option.
I had cumbersome luggage to navigate to the car and was short on time so I did not want to have to return to the counter to change my contract if I only found electric cars in the lot. So I upgraded to the economy size to confirm my preference.
My advice moving forward is directed to drivers who have a preference about the whether or not their rental is electric. If an alert is not provided about electric cars before confirming your reservation, you might want to follow up with the rental about this, especially if you're on a strict budget. My rental upgrade resulted in an increase of $49 for a 2 day rental that I hadn't planned.

We arrived at Christchurch airport and went to |Lucky |Rentals to pick up our car but there was no record of us on their system and all the cars in the category that we were renting had already been booked. Fortunately we had paperwork and Kelsey from Lucky Rentals was really excellent, sorted out an upgraded car for us and got us on our way.
So, in the end our car hire experience was very good but this was more down to the actions of Kelsey than Economy bookings. This is a shame because the booking process had been easy and pretty good value - but that's no good if the booking is not forwarded to the end provider.
There was no customer service. Tried calling. Closed. Used on line contact. Said to call. Asked hours customer service is open. No answer. Tried calling again. No answer. Kept seeing lower prices for same rental. There was even one in my email. Others seen in ads on Facebook and in other company ads. Most were about $90 to $100 cheaper. Did receive upgrade from car rental company. But stood in line over an hour to get waited on. I am handicapped person and had no place to sit while waiting. That wasn't Economy Bookings doing that was at Thrifty rental office.

We had to wait 2.5 hours for a vehicle. The vehicle was not cleaned properly, which caused a dangerous situation, as we had to drive by night, in rainy conditions, with dirty windows.
Besides that,technically the vehicle was fine, and service commendable.

They advertise $13 per day, then charge supposed taxes and fees. Well it ended up $35 bucks a day for an economy car at thrifty, plus when i got to Tampa. Thrifty charged another $89 in fees, so it ended up 44 dolars a day begore the $92 of insurance that thrifty said i didnt have.
This is the second time that I have to wait over a month for two refunds after changing my booking for their lower rate. Can't even email or phone them but have to fill out a dumb form on which they equally slow respond.It is about time that Economy bookings get into the next century and update their website including showing payments faster than now. When booking their charges conveniently come up within seconds. Although their rates are much lower at times I am getting sick and tired of their poor administration and consider changing back to Expedia which charges just a few dollars more for the same rentals and refunds within days.

I paid in full and my papers I was supposed to bring with me stated $0 upon pickup however they charge you a deposit fee that I didn't see mentioned. No wiggle room or any suggestions offered. Just give me more money.
We rented a car and paid for an insurance. When we arrived the representative of Europcar told us that we don't have an insurance. We had to buy theirs or use the insurance our credit card provided.
