Hello, I arrived at tenerife airport with a reservation for goldcar. Due to a forgotten driving licence I was unable to collect the car at tenerife south airport. After I canceled my booking 2 weeks before the reserved time, my money (around CAD 260) went into a "credit" account on their portal, and when I tried withdrawing it, they told me I had to pay a 60 euro "Resource Subscription Fee". Then I proceeded with the withdrawal, but nothing happened! No confirmation email/msg and MY MONEY HAS NEVER GOT BACK TO MY ORIGINAL CREDIT CARD! Stay away from this scammer! What an absolute SCAM! I always purchase full insurance when renting a car to be sure everything is covered, so when I booked through economic bookings, I paid 180€ to reserve the car with all the insurances possible, only to find out in the Sixt office at the day of pick up that the insurance basically only covers up to 1000$ of damage and only to the Sixt agency, not to other party included in possible accident! All the other financial responsibility would be at my costs without any limit! Also there was no third party protection included even if during the first steps of reservation it was stated that everything is covered, including third parties. Of course when I found out all this, I was already at the counter, so NO REFUND WHATSOEVER! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS they will only SCAM YOU

Beware, economybookings.com free cancellation is not truly free cancellation. Only they will provide as credit in their website. If you want money back in your credit card then it will be with additional $65 as Resource Subscription Fee for processing the refund. Contacted Customer care support, they said, you read and agreed while booking the car on the terms and conditions. Very greedy, putting back on customer as customer's fault not reading the terms and conditions.

After a delayed flight to Dominican Republic, We've been told by the car rental that they didn't have any car for us despite having paid our réservation in full. We were left strandedin at 10:30pmat the airport.

The verbiage of fully refundable is misleading.I booked a rental car and cancelled it within 10 mins because of incorrect information only to find out that the refund goes to their credit wallet and not the original form of the payment. To transfer it to the original form of payment there is charge of usd 65. When contacted the customer service,the person was rude and intimidating with loud voice.The information on the website is misleading and confusing. I strongly recommend to stay away.

I have used Kayak for decades, and this was my first time using this site…They definitely scam people! Pretty sure that their customer service agents aren't screened for their jobs. The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. There is NO WAY this place can have any good ratings unless they are rating themselves on their site regularly. I tried to call and change my reservation because there was a blizzard out…and I couldn't make it out to pick up the car that I had already paid for. I requested to change my dates, they said no and then proceeded to say, "no one forced you to book the rental". So when I got mad and responded to what she said, the agent proceeded to act like I was the lunatic…when she was the one who triggered my frustrations with that stupid comment. They are real tough over the phone huh? I'm reporting this place to the BBB, and my bank. Zero Stars. Expensive lesson learned

It's completely misleading! The fee you pay up front is for their reservation service. I paid $125.00 up front for the service of finding me a rental car but none of that money is for the actual rental fee… And it's 100% non-refundable - only a credit towards future use! It's much better to book directly with the car rental company and save yourself a lot of money! Buyer beware!

Made an reservation and arrived at the desk. Our flight hade been delayed so I was at the counter 1hr &5 min later than pickup scheduled.
I was told that the reservation is cancelled after 1 hr(which is Ludacris) when pick up is at an airport!
I then called economy booking for assistance. They told me that any refunds must be handled by email.
So I can't use the same fully coverage insurance to make a new reservation.
And the new offer was twice as costly than the one economy booking canceled without even trying to check why I was late.
Luckily I could use another reliable company to book with
NEVER EVER BOOK THROUGH THIS SCAM COMPANY!

If I am able to give them 0 star I would. This company is a scam. We booked a car and paid $326 for the car rental. They said we full in price and would not have to pay additional when pick up. On the day of pick up, we were told to pay $400 extra stating that we only paid for deposit. We talked to the agent and everything and he said he could not help and that we have to contact economybookings.com. That is when I realized this company is so weird because there is no emergency phone number for you to contact. I had to contact them through email and they took more than 1 month to solve my case. And like I predict, they said no refund, claiming that we did not pick up the car.

Only Boot Aleksandr responded to my previous opinion. If you are looking for insurance that fully covers your own contribution, do not waste your money on Full Coverage provided by BookingGroup. Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
