Dec-7 ordered a seat hinge cover in Claret Red for 1980 a corvette
Received order on Dec. 13th... 1) part was Black unpainted (not the right color part, not what I ordered)
Called Ecklers on Dec. 14th-- spoke with Corey was informed not there problem it was shipped from a sub dealer and I will have to go to them. I called the sub dealer and was informed that I would have to deal with Ecklers. Called Ecklers back, spoke to Corey Again was informed that it was not there problem. Told to just paint the part the color I needed. Corey made me feel like I was trying to steal the part. Then I asked to send pics of the part. I sent pics Ecklers return department.
Called Ecklers on Dec-- 16th They said they never received pic. Resent pics. Called to confirm they received pics part. I was informed it could take up to 2 months to resolve this problem. They would send me a return label.
Called Ecklers on Dec. 20th. No return label sent... Called and spoke with somebody new. They said they would send me a new return label.
Received a new return label on Dec--21st. Tried to print label. Label was incomplete
Call Ecklers and informed them of the problem, was told they where having this problem and they would send a another label.
Dec 30 called Ecklers -- spoke with Corey was told it was the holidays and this again was not there problem. I would have to wait for the sub dealer to take care of this matter. That the sub-dealer has my money and until they get it back from them its not his problem.
Told Corey that I bought the part from Ecklers not the Sub-dealer and all that I wanted was my $82.67 back or the part that I ordered.
Jan-4th Called Ecklers corporation Office. Spoke to HR person she was really nice and tried to help. She transferred me to Corey. Corey informed me that that the holidays slowed everything down and I would just have wait. They are going to resend me a new shipping label, by the end of the week.
I told Corey I was tired of being put off and Lied to. If I didn't get this matter handled by the end of the week I would file a complaint with the BBB and put a stop payment on my Credit Card.
Corey informed me that If I did that I would never be able to order any parts from them again.
I told Corey, I spent over $2000. 00 on parts from Ecklers before this problem with no issues. There are other companies I can order from that this would be no problem for me to take my business some place else.
What a mess all over a 82.00 part sent to me in the wrong color. Treated like I stole a part and or change to part out. I am the Constable of my county and work closely with Navel base in are area. Never have been treated like this from any business before.
