Worst customer service experience ever. Firstly they got my payment details wrong, then they got the delivery date wrong even though I paid for nest day delivery. When they finally tried to deliver the parcel never came even though I took the day off to wait for it and when the parcel finally showed up a week later it looked like it had been thrown around. Not a problem if this was a bag of clothes but I ordered a very expensive PC component. Do not use this company for anything especially expensive computer components.

Worst customer service experience ever.

Firstly they got my payment details wrong, then they got the delivery date wrong even though I paid for nest day delivery.

When they finally tried to deliver the parcel never came even though I took the day off to wait for it and when the parcel finally showed up a week later it looked like it had been thrown around.

The delivery will intentionally miss you and propose an uncomfortable date for next delivery. They will then scam you of your money and the item will never be delivered. Avoid them.

Retailer in breach of Consumer Rights Act, dodging responsibility with a faulty high end GPU which failed just 15 months from purchase, leaving me £400 out of pocket and unable to source a replacement at similar cost, so cost me >£750 overall. The GPU was clearly not fit for purpose, of satisfactory quality, or as described (high end). Customer of 17 years - sadly never again :(

Don't trust that faulty products will be compensated in any way. Best to avoid.

We ordered a processor that cost nearly £200, it came damaged with a pin missing, then we were told they would not refund, replace or repair the part because of their small print that damages have to be reported within 48 hrs of delivery. Our advice to you is beware of this company! DO NOT USE THEM! They are unprofessional with one of the worst customer service departments I've ever been in touch with, they fall back on terms and conditions that are heavily stacked against you. If anything is not right you will lose your money.

BEWARE of this company! LOOK at the terms and conditions, they are heavily stacked against you if anything is delivered damaged. You WILL lose your money if every detail on the T&Cs are not kept. For example reporting damages within 48 HRS which is not clear when you purchase. The customer service is also terrible too. They are like robots just reading their stacked terms and conditions designed to get away with robbing you of your money.

It is already faulty on the screen when I just receive my monitor. Requested for return but never heard back from customer service after I created the return enquiry form. Very disappointed!

Had an issue with m. 2 drive. WD customer service was appalling, lost my drive, had no more drives in stock and sent my drive back after almost two weeks. Ebuyer representative Chelsea got this sorted in a couple of days, just awesome. Customer service at its best. Thank you.

Recently bought a 'New' WD 1TB Hard Drive, which died after 10 days. Raised a complaint, fobbed off to return it to WD myself under warranty. Therefore not their problem and my expense, terrible customer service, judging by the overall rating that's typical. Whatever her name from eBuyer who comment's on the low ratings, don't bother with this one, not interested.

Don't buy from this site. Late delivery, bad customer support and items may have problems. You will also run into trouble with returns.

It's so bad that if you have an active order literally just cancel it

It might seem cheap, but the hassle you go through is not worth it. Over all compared to other sites it was £5 cheaper but it's so bad that really I would pay much more next time and not use this site

Accidentally made a slight error on a purchase regarding deliveries and called up imediantlely to amend and the pure unwillingness to to anything is absolutely baffling!

Have spent probably upwards of £3k with these guys over the past 3 or so years not mega bucks by any means but certainly won't be using them for my next purchases.

Absolutely shambolic.

Ebuyer has been a store which I have rated very highly. They used to have a real customer focus. I placed an order everything showed in stock. A week later I get an email stating I have a refund for the cpu as its out of stock and not going to be replaced!
I get on the phone and somehow its my problem and any deals, have now gone.but feel free to reorder at the current prices and 2nd delivery charge.
I should say they did give me a 10 voucher which covered the 2nd lot of shipping but not the additional I had to pay for the new CPU or the lost time it cost waiting for the part to come in, and the delivery date getting missed on the original order

Bought my new laptop here and was pretty good after a fiasco with the lenovo website - good service, free delivery and good warranty. Overall pleased and would recommend.

Avoid, this company have tried to scam me. Placed an order with next day delivery on a Monday, nearly £7 for next day delivery. The item wasn't even dispatched for two days, then was sent via yodel, the same courier they use for free delivery. Complete scam.

Over a week later the tracking was updated as delivered but nothing was delivered to me. I contact yodel and they admit that the GPS and evidence provided by their driver suggests it was delivered to completely the wrong address. Ebuyer won't accept it's been delivered to the wrong address and refuse refund. They claim a grainy photo of a parcel in a letterbox that's not even my front door is proof of delivery and maintain the item was delivered to me. To top it all off the customer service staff were slow, and incredibly rude. Essentially accusing me of stealing the item even though I could prove their tracking was incorrect and offered to provide evidence, photos of my house (that don't match the delivery proof) and cctv of the whole day that they claimed the item was delivered. Had to place a chargeback on my credit card to get my money back, avoid at all costs.

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother, use any other seller, they wont rip you off

Update - 9 Aug 2017

After being contacted by Ebuyer Customer Services who listened to my concerns, I have been provided with a full refund.

I am putting my previous experience down as a misunderstanding which has been satisfactorily dealt with in a pleasant and caring manner.

The 3 stars is because this whole episode has cost me 2 lots of postage and inconvenience with no additional compensation to acknowledge this.

I would trade with this company in the future, but with more care.

Bought a TP-LINK TL-PA7010P KIT AV1000 Gigabit Passthrough Powerline Starter Kit from them.

On delivery, found it didn't work. Went through trouble and expense of returning it for a refund, only to be told they don't accept returns from Business Accounts. They are sending the dam thing back to me apparently! Pointless! FIND A MORE CARING PROVIDER IS MY ADVICE.

Having purchased a computer from them it came with a software fault after three phone calls and being lied to about my consumer rights, I agreed on a full refund, they got there goods back but no refund has been made numerous phone calls where you are passed from one to another, a trouble shooter who does not reply, I would never trust or use this company again, if you use them be sure of your legal rights

Simply one of the worst companies i have dealt with in recent years. Didn't process an order and had to be chased. When they did process it, they did not despatch. When chased, they did not despatch to an amended address. They did not despatch the bext day or the next day either. No help on the phone, no proactive emails. An absolute shambles of a company who should be avoided at all costs. Save yourself some stress, pay a little extra and buy from a better company.

EBuyer sells items not in stock. I ordered an item over a hundred pounds and as soon as the order was placed online their system said 'out of stock' and then refused to let me cancel the order. It took almost a month to get my money back. PayPal escalation, the works. Horrible horrible experience. Awful company and the main problem is the lazy customer services who just don't want to do any work. All their staff were the same but Emma Bentley was particularly obtuse.

We placed an order for a couple of headset stands on our business account.

They did not arrive, when we chased it they said we were too late as we had not called within 48 hours. Terrible service.

Below is cut and paste from their terms.

"We shall not be liable for any non-delivery of Products (even if caused by our negligence) unless you give written notice to us of the non-delivery within 2 working days of the date when the Products would in the ordinary course of events have been received."

Do not use this company there are many better safer options out there

They literally used every trick in the book to get out of a refund, and tbh no matter how many times you explain it, they don't listen. Apparently they have new owners now, I hope they sack this current support staff.

They do not care about items they sell and the customers. I will never use them again.

Ordered a new gaming PC - next day delivery - was supposed to come thursday, No Contact, No tracking information - just a helpful "special arranagements have been made - contact us for more information".

Contacted Ebuyer customer support (Jessica) - who told me because it was so expensive, it would be shipped on a pallet and would come friday. Come friday lunchtime - still no Email or Tracking info on website, so contact them again - i'm now told because its the "holiday weekend" it wont come until TUESDAY.

Does it HURT to keep your customers informed or something?

Please AVOID at all cost!
On the 20th of March I have purchased a laptop from ebuyer.com. The total cost was nearly £800, and I added next day delivery. I paid some money upfront and took the rest in instalments with Klarna. I have shopped at this website before and so have my friends, so at that time it was a trusted source.

The first problem was the next day delivery, as for two days the driver kept leaving me the 'Sorry we missed you' messages, even though I was at home all day, waiting for the parcel. I complained straight away to the courier company, Yodel, and was told that at the third try the driver will be more careful. On the 24th I received a message that my parcel was delivered and accepted by me, much to my surprise as still no one rang the doorbell. I went downstairs as my building has a reception area and found the parcel there, on the table. I asked the building manager to see the CCTV from that day and saw that the courier entered the building, tried to leave the parcel with a neighbour and when she refused to take it, left it on the table.

When I took the parcel upstairs and opened it, I found a box of washing powder inside, instead of a laptop. From that moment it was constant stress and worry, as I had to contact both Yodel and ebuyer, write numerous complaints, make numerous phone calls, all for ebuyer to eventually say they have investigated and the parcel was packed correctly and they 'don't sell washing powder'...

Ebuyer claims the parcel was not tampered with and delivered correctly, but they do not explain how I ended up paying nearly £800 for a box of washing powder. Yodel also conducted an investigation, allegedly, however they claim that all investigations have now been concluded, and they can't help.

I looked through reviews online and it looks like there are customers with similar stories, some even received empty boxes. All negative reviews are rather new, and I wish I read them earlier. On the ebuyer website, however, the reviews are very positive. I think they may be blocking people from reviewing on their website, as I've got an account with them and when I go to reviews page it is not letting me leave a review. Also, I've seen many more negative reviews on other websites which have now disappeared, which leads me to believe they delete reviews as well.

Would give them 0stars for customer service ordered a gpu paid for next day delivery and wasn't dispatched was told I would get the delivery refunded but that never happened. Do not care once they have your money no phone call to say it's been delayed that's all it would take to keep your customers happy especially when charging over rrp for a gpu
