Disappointed, after many years of going here and trusting the service that was given. I think they have grown too big for their own good. My car overheated, I thought it was the water pump, possible head gaskets again, according to sources. (Accurate did them 4 yrs ago when I bought the car) We knew the water pump needed to be replaced, but was told I had to replace the pump and then also the timing belt kit before they could test for the head gaskets and then the head. So it cost me over $750.00 to replace the water pump and timing belt kit. Only to tell me that yes, the head gaskets needed to be replaced too. I was told that they would not know if the head was bad until we did the head gaskets and sent the head to be machined. In the end it was made more sense to replace the whole engine due the current engine have over 200,000 miles on it. I decided to keep my old engine and was given the new parts that were not needed (charged the shops mark-up) and charged the labor to put them on, even though they were not needed. I've been told that there were other diagnostics that could have been done prior to replacing the water pump to make the determination that the head gaskets needed to be replaced. I feel that we were overcharged and should have our $750. Returned to us. Also my car was driven 76 miles while waiting at the shop for this work to be done. After all is said and done we have spent just under $5000. 00 to get our car back to driving condition.
