“BROKERS ARE A WASTED EXPENSE”

All these 5 star reviews are BOGUS! Please be warned EASY AUTO SHIP WILL COST YOU MONEY! Please don't be lazy and read this review. It'll LITERALLY save you money! Brokers are NOT responsible for on-time pickup. This means they are JUST the middle man that pairs you with an actual driver. They make a small profit from linking u two together. That's it. Period. With that said, our car arrived from Honolulu to Cali on the 12th. I literally was checking the tracking number HOURLY from Pasha, so I could alert Easy Auto Ship as soon as possible. Keep in mind they'll hold your car for 1 week. After that, the fee is $50 per day. I contact my rep immediately and alert them the car will be ready for pickup in 2 days. The same day, I sent the Bill of Landings that shows THE VEHICLE IS INOPERABLE. 12/20 rolls around and Easy Auto Ship is JUST NOW finding a carrier. He gets to the car (on 12/28) and can't crank it (the battery needed a jump). We didn't find this out until the carrier already canceled the order. 1/03, they finally find a driver. I get an email to call him b/c he needs help with our order. Give him a call, and the guy acts totally clueless like he didn't know what we were talking about. He then mentions a $285 storage fee. I try to clarify if it's from RoadOne. He tells me he'll call me back. Hours later, still no response. Keep in mind we have now lost our pickup date for Friday. Road One isn't opened on the weekend, so that's 2 days of charges simply b/c the driver did not call us back. I finally reach out to my rep (Monday) who tells me the driver needs me to pay all storage fees before he'll pickup. I call Road One and find out the storage fees are $485. Naturally, I'm extremely angry at this point because Easy Auto Ship has been on notification since NOVEMBER 15TH! I reach out to my rep who basically tells me I'm SOL because of the holidays made it difficult to find a driver, and they only made $50 from the sale If we hadn't driven that car in over a year, I would have saved myself a ton of tears, headache, and money by doing the drive from Cali to ATL without help from these companies! Easy Auto Ship LITERALLY costed us $500 because they did not hold up their end of the bargain and find a carrier within a decent time frame. So I'm other words BROKERS ARE A WASTE OF MONEY AND A USELESS SERVICE. To be told you only made a small portion of the sale is insulting. Especially when this company was notified LITERALLY 10 minutes after the car arrived in Cali. Not only will I NEVER do business with this company again, i will make sure ANY vehicle we own is transported by us and only us. Easy Auto Ship screwed us over badly on this. They will NEVER in a million years get a recommendation outta me! Be smart and use this link (safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/query.asp) to find an actual CARRIER. Then, coordinate pickup. If they don't provide their UsDot or MC number, you'll likely run into the MANY issues fooling with a broker!

I hired them to move my parents' vehicle from FL to NJ. They sub-contracted a carrier named EE Transport, Inc. From that point, everything went downhill. First, the truck driver demanded that my Dad, who is his 70s and undergoing chemo, drive out to drop-off the car a few miles away from the agreed pickup location in the middle of the night. Then he never shows up. My dad then had to call this guy several times for a status. When the vehicle was finally picked up the next day, the same driver starts harassing me with rude text messages telling me he'll be in NJ that evening and to be ready. This is 2 days before original drop-off date by the way. Anyway, I speak to this guy and confirm the drop-off address (my sister's house). He tells me around 3 PM that he's in Virginia and that he would call my sister when he reaches the NJ state line. My sister never gets a call from him, so she calls him around 8 PM for an ETA. The driver then demands that my sister drive out to meet him 15 miles away past midnight. When my sister refuses because it's fishy and because she has kids in bed, he tells my sister that we missed our delivery window and so we now have to pay an extra $150. Oh, and if we don't pay, he takes the car to MA. My sister again refuses, and this guy just goes bonkers. He starts yelling at and insulting her over the phone. Then does the same with my brother-in-law when he gets on the phone try to resolve the issue. The next morning, I get another rude text form the guy telling me that he's putting my parents' car in storage. I had no idea what had happened, so I call him right away. The moment he answers the phone he goes off on me about my sister and her husband. At some point he tells me he's going to bash my sister's head in with a bat and her husband's too. So, I hang up and call my sister to get her story. We decide to call EasyAutoShip for help and they basically recommend that we pay this guy the extra $150 to secure the car and avoid having to pick it up in MA. They promise to refund the $150, so we agree but demand that they arrange for a police officer to be at the exchange (given the driver's threats). My brother-in-law was able to get the car back the next day with an officer on scene, but EasyAutoShip is now conveniently avoiding my calls and most likely hoping we simply walk away. At this point, I'm thinking they are in on this scam to stiff folks out of extra cash.
