I have been extremely satisfied with every product I have purchased from DTC but you definitely pay for it. The pants I purchased are their 40 grit pants which were cheaper than their firehouse pants but are super durable and comfortable. Buck naked boxer briefs are the best underwear I have ever worn (this includes over expensive underwear from express, and american eagle). Personally, I just wait for a sale since things are expensive but the quality and customer service is amazing.
My nephew researched this company before I ordered his cxmas gifts from there. When he reviewed them and looked at them they were not made in America! He only wears items made in America! So I returned them! It cost 24.00 to return! He should have looked at the return policy! Not good! I wouldn't recommend this company since u have to pay to return items! It's too costly!
I have been purchasing Duluth clothing for an easy 10 years. Work construction fantastic pants and coveralls worth every penny. But it has gotten to the point unless I am able to go to one of their stores I am no longer purchasing from them. They're shipping is absolutely horrendous I I buy a ton of merchandise online they are by far the worst company with regards to shipping that I have ever seen. Just horrible. At least with other companies if you want to pay extra for UPS you can. With Duluth it doesn't make a difference you are not getting your merchandise for 3 weeks at best. They continue to use the post office I cannot be the only one I'd love to know how much business they're losing because of their shipping.

They were out of my size and the staff member we were working with immediately offered to order it at no extra charge. All the other staff were polite, helpful, and friendly. The clothing item (overalls) is both fun and durable, as proven by my wearing and washing many times. We are also very happy with some luggage we purchased there. I wonder if the in-store experience is different? We have not ordered online,

Saw a lot of negative reviews and understand usually companies almost always have bad reviews or no reviews. I buy all of my work clothes, underwear, belts and more recently footwear from Duluth Traders. The Keen line of shoes they carry is 2nd to none. I'm now transitioning to their blue jeans for casual wear, look a little workish but have the tech pocket for the phone I'm so used to during the week!
Tip for consumers:
Expensive but quality costs, best stuff I’ve ever bought

Not sure what all the fuss is about. I've been purchasing online from Duluth for several years. The items all of good quality. The prices are excellent. If I have a concern it's delivery. Mostly by snail mail. Maybe they should consider offering an express, next day delivery option. In closing, remember negative complaints are like squeaky wheel. They always get the grease. You never hear from happy customers.
Hey everyone. My husband bought me a whole bunch of Duluth trading company clothing and I absolutely loved it. He bought me a beautiful orange and navy blue colored flannel shirt back in September of last year and I loved it. I only got to wear it three times and when I pulled it out of the washing machine, the back was ripped. This shirt had a special design where it opened in the back to give you extra moving room. The stitching from that split did not rip. It was the actual fabric of the flannel shirt that ripped. I'm so surprised because this feels like very thick quality flannel. I called their customer service and ask them to please just send me another shirt because I love the color and I love this fabric and she said they no longer carry it because it's flannel and it was in the fall. I'm so disappointed that it did not last longer. I could see if I wore it 50 or 60 times and then it tore, I would feel like I got my money worth. But I only wore it three times. I'm disappointed and I know it's a first world problem but I just thought I would leave a review in case somebody else had the same problem. They were willing to give me a refund or an exchange, I'm not sure which but because they don't carry this shirt any longer, I would have to get a refund. So I am forced to have to try to sew this shirt and hide the rip. I'm just disappointed because I believe this shirt was around $70 and it should have lasted longer than wearing three times and washing once. So I will be fixing it myself because I love the color.

Have been using their outdoor gear for a.nit over 10 years now. Highly durable with an eye to function. Waterproof means waterproof. The temp specs means you'll be warm at that temperature and not "just not freezing to death."
Gave up Carhart for Duluth and never. Looked back.
I'm a professional advertising human. I believe in it. That being said, I also believe Duluth Trading Company generates good quality merchandise at justifiably elevated prices because it is simply superior stuff in most cases. I am all for fun-blunt radio, TV and jingle productions. So I'm a fan; to a degree. Their productions are memorable and don't stink.
What damages my appreciation is DTC's relentless marketing after the sale. Daily emails are superfluous at best. Here's why I just opted to UNSUBSCRIBE. DTC brought it on by apparently developing a strategy the includes daily assaults as though I am some addled brained dementia shopper who forgets what I need. So they feel I now must shop DTC EVERY SINGLE DAY I SURVIVE my lack of self-awareness.
Do the employees there in Minnesota have similar trouble with their needs?
Like, they wake up thinking: "I must secure another product today or my life is wasted?"
Evidently you believe the Duluthers are like a homeless person who got a morsel from us then just opted to move into my garage. To Duluth ruthless marketing department:
You are welcome when I need you. After that, you are just an irritating mosquito.
Duluth Trading Buck Naked underwear and Long Tail tee shirts are really well made, and if you can get the on sale, they are a great deal.
The warranty and exchange policy look really good until you read the fine print, and it becomes obvious they were designed to discourage use.
Why is this critical? For online shopping, consistency in sizes is important. For example, I wear a large shirt in most brands and styles, yet a purchase of a large from Duluth resulted in a shirt that was way too big. So now I know, at Duluth, I order a medium... and now have a large tent of a shirt hanging in my closet because a return costs me.
Since posting my original review, the customer service rep I dealt with was able to get my order expedited so I'll now be wearing my new coat on my trip up to Minnesota. I give that rep 5 stars out of 5, but the company's online process still gets 1 star. Overall a 4 thanks to customer service - I only wish I had gotten her name so I could give her the kudos properly.
I wear the regular Buck naked boxer briefs. I buy the clearance colors because the underwear is a little pricey. I like them. I did try the Dang soft. Initially I thought the dang soft were great but for whatever reason the waist band wrinkles a folds over on itself constantly. The Buck naked doesn't. I am not sure what they did different between the two waistbands.
Tip for consumers:
The Dang Soft waist bands wrinkle and fold over during wear.

I love these clothes... the Long Tail tees in summer, the Henleys in winter. My only beef and hence the 4 instead of 5 stars, is availability of items, especially on sale. The other is some of their items seem overpriced. However, they are well made, backed by guarantee, and worth the money in the long run. Thanks Duluth, but please stock more... I will buy more!
I've ordered many times from Duluth. Both the men's and women's clothing lines are well made and durable. The most ordered items for me are the long-tailed t shirts and the men's socks. I also ordered a pair of women's leather boots from them a few years back and they still look great. A bit more expensive but definitely worth it.
I have had the opportunity to order products from Duluth trading.com on two separate occasions one time I ordered two pairs of firehose jeans which fits perfectly as ordered and are very rugged but also very comfortable. The second order was a firehose jacket, it fit perfectly and is comfortable and warm. I would recommend Duluth Trading to anyone
I have ordered from them several times. I always got what I ordered and in a timely manner. It was always, and I mean ALWAYS, the size they described. Multiple orders of the same item over years, and there is NO change in size or quality. While I have never needed their customer service, I have heard it is great. The only down side, I think they overrated their vibram soled boots. Otherwise, 100% happy.
