I have been extremely satisfied with every product I have purchased from DTC but you definitely pay for it. The pants I purchased are their 40 grit pants which were cheaper than their firehouse pants but are super durable and comfortable. Buck naked boxer briefs are the best underwear I have ever worn (this includes over expensive underwear from express, and american eagle). Personally, I just wait for a sale since things are expensive but the quality and customer service is amazing.
My nephew researched this company before I ordered his cxmas gifts from there. When he reviewed them and looked at them they were not made in America! He only wears items made in America! So I returned them! It cost 24.00 to return! He should have looked at the return policy! Not good! I wouldn't recommend this company since u have to pay to return items! It's too costly!
I bought a pair after I saw the commercial with the beaver who bites the leg and his teeth fall out. I use them at the dog shelter where I volunteer. A pit bull bit the pants leg and tore a hole in it. When I called the company they said it's not warranted for that.
The strap clasps are a terrible design. They have a small metal clip that keeps the strap clasp from spreading and coming off the button. If you lose it, which has happened to me twice, the clasp becomes useless. I wrote Customer Support and they said they do not sell or have them and that I should go to my local fabric shop. In other words, they do not support their products. Since nothing like this is on Amazon, I doubt if my local fabric shop has anything. They want me to become a seamstress. Without that small clip, the bibs become unwearable.
Their Men's Bison Leather Driving Moccasins are of good hide but poor design. The toe pocket narrows too quickly to give a pointed toe look which is uncomfortable for the toes. The pocket is also cramped vertically which cause my nails to dig into the leather. They advertise them as being wide but the moccasins definitely run narrow and there is no choice for EE or EEE.
Their close are good quality, but still not worth the insanely high prices. You also can't cancel or change an online order once it's been submitted, which is a huge problem.
I have purchased worn 20 pair of Buck naked underwear. The elastic waist band eventually failed in every pair. No guarantees after one year.
Tip for consumers:
Review return policy before purchasing.
Products used:
Buck naked underwear, firehose pants, firehose coat, several others.
Avoid this.
Where is screws together, right where you rest your finger, it won't stay tight. So it flexes. Very annoying

Avoid this product

New "No Bull one year warranty".

After one year, we will also consider returns for items that are defective or don't perform as designed. No Bull means if something goes wrong, we will always treat you right.
It's all Bull-...!
$150 shoes, 2weeks out of warranty. Stitching starting to let go. No coverage! Over the years I was ok paying 10-25% more with a true no Bull warranty. But it's gone and I'm done with the Bull-...! I will take my business elsewhere.

I generally like their products and have ordered from them for years. I recently ordered a pair of work pants for my son on June 24 and they were finally delivered July 8. He liked them and we decided to order another pair. When we did, they were on sale. I sent customer service a note to ask if they could credit the difference on my first order, and their response was 'No, the order date was too far from the sale date so sorry". No policy response, just personal decision I guess. My response was that I would return for the full price and buy at sale price. No further response from Duluth. As we enter a recession, this is how much they care about their customers. Go elsewhere as I will do. Their products aren't that good.
I tried some clothes. Had to return. Did you know it takes 10 to 15 days to receive your refund AFTER they received the items being returned. RIDICULOUS, it doesn't take 10 days for them to charge your purchases. Never again!
Tip for consumers:
Takes to long to receive refunds.

I placed a large order on their website and a day later received an email that I needed to confirm my billing address. That email, however, went to my spam folder and I didn't see it until after I called customer service a week later asking about shipping confirmation. They would have canceled my order that day without having tried to call or send email reminders. By the time all this was sorted, items on my order were on backorder for 4 months, maybe longer. I canceled the backordered item... and hope their clothing is actually crap so I don't feel so bad about losing out all because their billing dept didn't reach out
There's a trick
Their telephone people will willingly let you be a fool by paying their huge retail price
They will not tell you there are frequent gigantic sales or free shipping
Basically: you pay hyper expensive full retail. Then the sale frequent sale comes shortly after
No price matching
No sympathy from them
Be careful
Ive been buying shoes at deluth since they opened in rhode island, every pair i buy lasts less time. Im done and wont be back.
Ordered a single pair of jeans. On the web site it said they have the size I need. Then the confirmation e mail said they are out so it will be a month before they are sent. To make matters worse it also says I cannot change my order (cancel). So I'm in desperate need of pants and I chose to spend my hard earned money on a new brand that supposedly is tough. Well at this rate the $20 pants from Walmart are not looking too bad. If you are a Duluth fan I herd its better to order from Amazon or another site. Sad day Duluth really wanted to be a new customer but at this rate I'm gonna stick with the cheep pants that fail in 2 months rather than waiting 2 months to get a pair.
Tip for consumers:
Order from Amazon or other site not the Duluth site says its in stock then the confirmation email says out of stock. Also says you can't cancel your order if you are not satisfied with the delivery time. A month till they get sent? Should have gone to Walmart.

Tried getting some jeans but who knows when they will send them....
I purchased a pair of shoes. Great for about 1 year. Purchased a second pair. At about one years, the stitching on the first pair started to unravel. At about 1 year of pair #2, the stitching in same area came apart. I'm an office guy so were not working them hard - they just fall apart at about 12 months...

We have been a long term customer for several years with never any complaints. We loved this company and its products. Recently we contacted them to correct the tax rate they charged. All these years they were computing the tax as if we lived in the city limits. When we discovered the mistake, we sent them information to correct their information on our location. Rather than correct a $2.00 overcharge for the order just made, they said they had to do it this way, but would correct the information so it wouldn't happen next time. Since this was a principled disagreement, and they would not change the tax charged, we asked that the order be cancelled. In response they said, since the item had already shipped, we could return it, but that we would be charged a $7.99 restocking fee. You would think their customer service personnel would be more adept at keeping otherwise satisfied customers happy, especially over something as minor as a $2.00 disagreement. Instead they seemed to go out of their way to say they didn't really care that much to keep their loyal customers happy. Oh well, live and learn. We will take our business elsewhere. Pat H.
I bought a women's lined shirt jac in size large via online. It arrived quickly, it was too small, particularly in the upper arms. Sent back for free and exchanged for an XL. It also arrived quickly and fit perfectly. Wanted to be able to wear a thin shirt underneath and I could do so without any issues. Washed it once, on cold water, low heat tumble dry as is advised on washing instructions and now it barely fits! The arms are too tight to wear the Shirt Jac over another shirt and is even uncomfortable wearing solo, grrr. And to boot, the inner flannel lining now hangs below the outside of the shirt in the back. Do not waste your hard-earned money!
I have bought there products for about 20 years. They now do not handle the longer no butt show shirts. Also my wife had bought several jackets that were longer and again do not have. It appears total line of clothes they had in the past as changed to a fashion line instead of work wear. We gave it 2 stars because of there adds.
Update: Finally received my products and they're great, but I stand behind the fact that their customer service is as rude as I've dealt with and not willing to help.
I'd love to review the product, but I never received it. Customer service online is just rude and unprofessional, while giving you the same tired runaround, like they're just copying and pasting what they're supposed to say. Had a rep (shout out to Kim!) use caps lock to explain something to me like I'm a dog or a child. They're just not willing to help and their "No BS" policy must stand for no buyer satisfaction. Wish I would've read reviews before making any purchase there. 1st and last one on my end.
I had been wanting to try their trousers out, after seeing commercials on TV.
So, my wife bought me a pair [Style: *******] and I was very disappointed with them. I can say, I do not like anything about what I got. She paid 104.50 (price on the Duluth tag)!
First of all, I am an outdoorsman and a U.S. Marine veteran, with LEO experience so, I have worn the best rugged uniform, hiking and survival type gear. I have a muscular-medium build and these $104.50 trousers fit like a potato sack. The pockets sit out like duel kangaroo pouches and the material in like some cheap, lycra-spandex-rubber-polyester substance.
It feels cheap and looks even cheaper.
Unless you are very overweight or need a very expensive pair of pajamas, you might won't to take a look before you order or buy.
Tip for consumers:
Go see before you buy.

I bought a pair of jeans from Duluth. I was very impressed with the fit and the extra belt loops. I wore them once or twice a week. Just doing everyday stuff, not working hard in them. Within 6 months the crouch tore. I am now in the process of sending them back. Lets hope their,"no bull" returns claim is true.
I used to be a Duluth Diehard but disappointed that it took weeks to receive my order, two pair of underwear
I placed an order that I needed in a week. Having heard nothing about the shipment date in 3 days, I e-mailed customer service. No one responded, but I received a UPS notification soon after sending my e-mail showing that a UPS label had been created.
Still no projected date of delivery, and so I called customer service. I said I need my order delivered either in 7 days or in 20 days, not in between. I never expected that the shipping would take more than a week it's not the holidays or a sale period. I offered to pay for expedited shipping. Customer service said there was nothing they could do "once the label was created." Really? Are we in the Stone Age?! The secret is that Duluth is trying to be cheap by using UPS-to-USPS instead of simply UPS to ship their orders - that's the reason for the delay!
I am not ordering again in the future, because I'm thoroughly frustrated with their inefficient and ineffective customer fulfillment/shipping. Too bad, because their products are of good quality. Even though their prices are high, the quality kinda made up for the prices. But when you add poor unrealistic shipping to it, forget it - it's just not worth it.
I'm a construction worker. The firehose pants blew out 2nd time I wore them. Not just one pair. Every pair I had bought blew the butt right out. Can buy 3 pair of carhartt for one pair of duluths
I placed an order with Duluth just 2 days ago on 11/18/2020. Placed my order online and everything was fine and paid for it. The next day on 11/19/2020, I saw on my Bank statement, 2 additional charges from Duluth. I called and they had split my order into 3 different shipments and charged me for the shipments. They explained that the original order charge was a preauthorization but the 3 different shipments would total up to the amount I was originally charged. So then today, I received an e-mail saying one of the items I had ordered was returned. Said we received your return. I called Customer Service again and the guy told me oh it was returned for whatever reason. I told him that I never requested for my item to be returned that I just placed the order on the 18th. He was like oh well and sorry for that. I have placed several orders from them and this time has left a sour taste in my mouth. I will either drive to the store and shop or not order from them online again. This is just pitiful and pathetic. There is no such thing as NO BS Guarantee.
I host a Secret Santa game for my growing family X-mas eve. On 12/6, I purchased items from Duluth (based on commercials I've seen), expecting delivery by Dec 21st. NO SUCH LUCK! I tracked my package and called two times about my shipment, as the tracking data implied my package was being sent back to Duluth? I was on hold both times for over 40 minutes (maybe Duluth should hire more service reps over the holidays, with so many people out of work due to COVID. I understand holiday and COVID, but COVID cannot continue to be an excuse for poor service. Duluth tells me to contact PO/UPS and they tell me to contact Duluth. Unfortunately, neither are able to HELP me (the customer) understand if and when my package will arrive, with the excuse of holidays and COVID! Nobody in my family has purchased from Duluth, so this was an opportunity for them to grow their customer base by 4 other families... oh but wait, not during the holidays and definitely after COVID passes, right? WRONG. Waiting on hold for 80 minutes of my time with no "real" understanding or concern of my purchase scenario, I was told I'd just have to wait and see if my package showed up in time. Meanwhile, I will be doing something else and will be returning my Duluth purchase. I am a big proponent of US purchasing, but I expect excellent service and quality. I did not receive excellent service my any stretch of the imagination and based on other reviews I read, I'm not sure the quality is to standards! However, I cannot comment on the quality because I haven't received my items. So Buyers beware... though they have cool commercials - just because your item ships. Doesn't mean you will receive it... especially during holiday and/or COVID! ~Unsatisfied, potential new customer!
