I went to this place looking to book a camping event for my friends and I. What we drove up to was a hoarders delight, accompanied with some 100 acres of debris, filth, animal scat, unclear trails, a wild horse and some semi domesticated (and sickly looking) goats roaming the property. There was no water facilities at all. And restrooms would have to be ordered. What was claimed to be a "Village" where we could came was nothing more than an open field. A supposed "Hobbit House" was a shack of pallets and an "elven village by a creek" was just a tend made out of some old smelly sheets. While exploring the property was semi enjoyable, the asking rate to stay is really great and the owner allows almost anything within the law, it seemed unsafe, the property is not maintained and the filth of the main house and its surrounding yard property was nauseating. Do not be deceived by the fancy name nor the pictures on the site. They are clearly old pictures and the homestead is more like a homeless refugee camp now. I would rather spend the extra money across the street at Rainbow Falls Park.
