My husband and I met with Dr. Miranda a few months after having our first child (which can be a very challenging time, even for the strongest couple). We met via Skype, which was so incredibly convenient, especially with an infant at home. Without having to drive anywhere or worry about a sitter, we were both very relaxed with the process from the beginning. It was exactly the thing we needed to help us get out of the rut we had fallen into as new parents. Dr. Miranda has such an innovative approach that really worked and was significantly faster than we expected. She is a terrific listener, but she also knows how to cut to the core issue, which I appreciated because I can talk forever, which costs time and money lol! I cant express enough how much I encourage any couple even considering therapy to try Dr. Miranda, to nip any issues you may be having in the bud. I promise you wont regret it!
You would be hard pressed to find a more empathetic and easy to talk to therapist than Dr. Miranda. I came to Dr. Miranda completely overwhelmed by my life and she put together a step by step plan for me that, in just 5 weeks, has completely changed the way I feel. It is so wonderful to be able to tell someone your innermost feelings without feeling judged or embarrassed.
My girlfriend and I presented Dr. Miranda with a series of issues we had no idea how to overcome. We managed to get to the bottom of everything in 6 sessions and left feeling that we could close all of it and begin a new phase in our relationship. So, if you are reading this and considering her, give Dr. Miranda a chance and I am sure she will prove to you how good she is at what she does.
I have avoided counseling and talk therapy because it never really worked for me in the past. Now I realize I had not yet found the right therapist. Dr. Mirandas approach is completely different, and in a matter of weeks she has absolutely changed my life for the better.
