“Awful experience, motor full of metal shavings, lying customer service people”

Ordered a mid range field mower late in April and was told it shipped two days later. When I checked the tracking number, it didn't exist. The customer service person I checked with LIED and said the tracking number would only show the date when the mower was delivered. The mower didn't ship for two weeks instead of the 3 days that were stated on the site! By the time I got the mower which was 17 days after it shipped, the first payment had already come due on the credit card I got from DR Power when I ordered the mower. I was happy when it finally arrived, only to find out that it wouldn't start and run because the engine was full of metal shavings. The tech support people at DR Power expected me to find a way to clean out the shavings. Then when they realized that wouldn't work, they told me to pack it up and take it to a local distributership. After much back & forth with their lousy customer support staff, including a supervisor, they agreed to having it picked up by the dealership. Dealership has had the mower for over a month now because DR Power said they would send a replacement engine, and it still hasn't shipped. This is an utter rip-off! I'm out nearly $3000 plus a lot of lost time and energy. I will never deal with DR Power again, and I will share this disgusting and lousy experience with everyone I know.
