Ok, I love their suits, although I received my clothes a little bit later than I thought, everything is great after receiving them! The quality is good, actually, I'm worried about the quality after checking some sites like this one and Trustpilot. But, out to my surprise! Exactly good. However, the shipment is not that fast. Ummm I can stand it since the world now is... Fine, just everything goes well.

I ordered a dress for my college graduation and was told a delivery date that would work. After trying to get an answer on the delay they just kept giving me the run around. I asked to cancel and get my money back and they ignored me. Still have not seen the dress or my money back. They just send emails that mean nothing! Bad company!

This site has very difficult customer service.
I never received the item that I ordered. I confirmed with the post office that the package was returned to them by mistake.

Yet I still had to argue with the customer service for a month to get anything done about it. They finally after a real struggle gave me a refund.

I ordered a dress for Christmas in early December which I planned to wear on Christmas Eve. The shipping was expensive and the last date to receive it was 12/24/21. It did not arrive until 12/28/21. I do like the dress and will wear it December of 2022, but I was disappointed in the arrival time.
I have never ordered from DressLily before. I am 24 years old. I didn't add my confirmation email because my personal info was on it, but I do have an email. I ordered the dress on 12/3/21.

Be prepared to keep all swimsuits you order, regardless of whether you try them on. I ordered a few different sizes hoping one would be right. Once I found one that fit, I wanted to return what didn't. That's when I learned that swimsuits aren't returnable under any circumstances even untried and unopened, still in the package. After numerous emails back and forth, I was refunded 20% of my order. This doesn't work well with the way I shop online.

That said, the swimsuits were lovely and seemed like a good value for the price. If you can figure out your correct size, and you're sure of styles that will look good on you, then go for it.

Waited 16 days to get items. When I received them they were way to small. Made of a cheap cardboard like material. 2 shirts $30.00 down the drain. Probably will give them to a homeless person at least that will make me feel good about the situation and help someone out.

I checked my PayPal this morning. STILL NO REFUND has been deposited into my account. Delivery companies are completely baffled as to where both packages went and cannot find them. I believe this site is bogus.

Dress Lily says they are giving me a refund on here, but I just got messages from PayPal with the same "we have tracked the item and it has been delivered" bogus stuff. Since it contains an imaginary address, NOT the one I gave them, it was NOT delivered TO MY HOUSE. PayPal has denied my claim for restitution on this matter due to Dress Lily's faulty and erroneous information.

I have contacted Fedex, who said they contracted the USPS to deliver, contacted the USPS by phone twice, and in person at my local post office (where they spent 50 minutes looking for the package), and even caught my mail carrier when he came by my house to ask about the package. No one can find anything. Dress Lily seems to want me to go to some stranger's house and ask if they have my package. This is life threatening!

Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I stand by my review!

I ordered items that were sent to a bogus address. Dress Lily claims one has been delivered and one is at my post office, but the shippers can't find them. I called wanting a re-ship or refund and was told the "post-sale" department would email in 24hr. No email. Called again in 24hr. Said they'd email, no email. Called again. Asked for a manager and was told "no manager is on site." Asked for refund-return department and was told they "DON'T HAVE A PHONE!" Something shady is going on!

I ordered 2 shirts from DressLily. Which I ordered the size I normally wear here (2X) and they both fit like XLARGE. AND, it took almost 3 weeks to get my shirts. With multiple chat emails with customer service, nothing was fixed. Now I have 2 shirts that barley fit.
Positive note, they have very cute clothes, just order up a size.

These reviews are blowing my mind. I would like to order a few items from DL and decided to write to them before hand in a Live Chat that turns out isn't live at all. (it doesn't say it isn't available... it states "Start Live Chat". These were my concerns and questions:

1. Why no contact phone number... that's a huge red flag.
2. While its nice they respond to poor reviews here, they are NOT addressing or fixing customers problems when they are emailing or making complaints directly to the company.
3. Why all the excuses. We don't want to hear excuses. We prefer honesty..."We messed up" over... it takes time to process an order, or its because of the weather etc. Own up to your mistakes.
4. Whats with the many untraceable tracking numbers.
5. It's obvious these products are made by and coming from hundreds of different companies which means that a small at one company is definitely not a small at another. Explain that the sizes are average and can vary GREATLY. Again... honesty is key here.

Loved the idea of lots to choose in PLUS size but nothing fitted! Check UK sizes as
XL sizes are not the same. Trying to return items is a nightmare, never had such a

Ordered 4 items, arrived at two different times (the first very soon, it took only 3 weeks to do half of the world) in which the last took a little more than 2 months.

Dresses are quite good looking with decent manufacture, it's enough strong with imprecisions in some clothes (not all, some are well done!)
Fabric reflects the price.

I placed first order early this month and recieved a super cute two piece dinosaur tankini. It was a bit small but that was my bad as I did not read their size chart. I placed my second order today very excited as I went by the chart this time, and afterwards checked my bank account, the dollar had changed from Canadian to American, so I was charged around $40 more than I was anticipating. Nowhere in the checkout does it say USD in front of the price. Only when I was emailed the receipt and checking my account was this clear.
I think that if you're changing currency on people you should make sure to state that. Why would my first order be in Canadian then switch to American
Impressed with quality of my first bathing suit but not with this mix up.

Had anyone had problems and either received it very late or the worst not at all. I am in Australia and most things from China are usually here by now. Dresslily seems to have a bad reputation.

I like what I bought, at least the one thats arrived within 10 days, I'm still waiting on another one. My order last moved IN my state on the August 17th. There hasnt been any updates or anything of that sort. We ordered 7 day shipping, WITH the tracking number. The one day came the 8th day (not too much of a big deal for that) and it was better than the one Im still waiting on. I think this was my only experience trying to buy from this site..

The package took a ridiculously long time to get here, but that's not why I'm writing a review. The items on the site look nothing like the actual crap that they send you. I ordered a mermaid blanket because of the glowing reviews and adorable picture and when it actually did arrive the colors were all wrong and dull and the material was horrible. They enhance the pictures on the site and are not truthful with how it actually looks. I'm never buying from DressLily ever again.

Update:
DressLily recently contacted me apologizing profusely for the package and refunded me in full. They even allowed me to keep the item and seemed very willing to resolve my issue, which I greatly appreciated. Knowing that they value their customers makes me much more willing to buy from DressLily again and I apologize for the bad review before I gave them a chance for them to resolve the issue.

I ordered a dress off of this website about 2 weeks ago, I was pleased with how fast it was shipped, considering some of the other reviews said it took months for their stuff. However, I was extremely disappointed because the dress is to big. I now have to go to a seamstress and pay more money to get it to be the right size. I did look at the chart and the size small should have fit me. Other then that, the quality of the dress is great, and I may consider ordering from the website again.

I ordered 3 children's mermaid tails for my 5 and 7 year old nieces and all of them were tiny, they only came to mid thigh on my 5 year old niece. We were really bummed because they are really pretty but way to small

Update - Dress lily has refunded me for the small mermaid tails so that was helpful. I did order another mermaid tail in the same order (that was an adult small) and my teenaged niece loved that one

This site stocks some amazing clothes and it's all very reasonably priced, however the sizings are very unusual and items aren't the size specified on the site or the label. But for the price you pay, it's not worth returning them. I'd probably order from this website again in the future but I'll be cautious over sizes.

I have not received quite a lot of items from my orders. When I try to contact dresslily it is impossible the way the contact site is set up. Eg they say enter a code and their is no code there. Please don't forget me dresslily I really need all items I ordered. I am in Australia. Bad publicity is bad bad bad publicity.

Okay here's the situation.

They are mailing using media mail from the Netherlands. Right off the bat - you can expect a 90 day shipping period. I finally received my order which came media mail. Wrapped in a plastic bag. If they are reading this - just ship ALL your stuff to Amazon in USA and let them fulfill & take care of customer support/returns. THIS WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY!

But I do love the mermaid blanket & happy I got it before Christmas.

The below issue has been resolved lately by DressLily. Hope the same issue wont arise for any other dressLily shoppers.

I have purchased 3x cardigans. After receiving the parcel, the cardigans are like kids wear sizes. I have selected the right size which is M during purchases but been delivered wrong sizes. This is all fraud guys. Please be careful and dont waste your money. If you ask for a refund, dresslily will ask you return the purchased clothes to SPAIN OR CHINA. Which costs you a lot more than purchase. No tags or sizes mentioned on the purchased clothes. No proof that they deliver the right size.

I ordered a long maxi dress WITH fringed sleeves. What I received was a SLEEVELESS dress! Same style; same color; same print, but no fringe no sleeves! It was all over the internet shown with a fringe sleeve. It even was on their website with a fringe sleeve. So I inquired to them about this and to make it right. They did refund my money and told me NOT to send the dress back; to either keep it or donate it. This took about three messages back and forth with customer service to resolve this issue. Even though they are out of China, and it takes forever to get your order, their prices are unbelievable! Like Wal-Mart prices (inexpensive). They offer some very cool looking clothes too. So if you aren't in a hurry (this was going to be a second or third choice dress come this December), I would still suggest you check this website out. And I'm still waiting for another order that was out of stock, but told in a later email that they are reordering. Again, an outfit that if it comes great! If not, que sera sera.

They took money for items not in stock. However they did refund the money. The missing item eventually turned up after a few weeks. The items I did receive were okay for the money.

I ordered an XL bathing suit and it would barely fit a 12 year old girl. I also ordered a black top that was extremely small. There was no packing slip with instructions for returning. I called the customer service number and got an answering machine, no call back! Pkg. said Czech Republic...
Dress lily did contact me with a prompt response and refunded my money for this merchandise.

Dresslily is hit or miss.

Hit: If your items fit exactly the way they are supposed to. I would recommend reading the size guide for each item, because not all items are the same (for example, what might be a 1X could be a 3X in another similar item).

Miss: If your items do not fit exactly the way they are supposed to. Even if you follow the size guide and order the appropriate size, women's bodies are all different and may not be an exact match. If it is a swimsuit, because there are no returns/exchanges, you are stuck. If it is an item that can be accepted to return/exchange, I heard it is very difficult going back and forth.

Although, their website says "we will always offer the best solution for our customers", it doesn't apply to certain stipulations of their warranty and/or if it is not their fault.
