An AOL blog but none the worse for that, and a daft name but surprisingly none the worse for that either. Download Squad is a rather good computing and web technology blog with good, up-to-date information and a relaxed presentation that makes it one of the more interesting tech blogs to read. There are sections for all major operating systems, web and mobile technology, and if you're interested in exploring other AOL-owned blogs there's a massive list of them at the bottom of the page. There are too many technology blogs out there, IMO, and only a few are worth a bookmark. I think this is one of them. Even if the name does sound like a new reality TV show.
