Really disappointed from doteasy services, My domain was shalimarfood.ca registered with dosteasy, My client don't want to renew the domain, i turned off auto renew, Then i email email received "Auto-renew is disabled and this will expire unless manually renewed by you." I ignore that email, because i don't want to renew the domain, The suddenly coercively they charged from my account, and renew the domain, I contact support regarding their blunder, they said they will never give me refund, Very disappointing from doteasy Regards Umair

I signed up with Doteasy for their hosting services, Despite their claims of having top-notch security measures in place, my website was repeatedly hacked, and sensitive customer data was compromised.
But after SIX Month My site Got hacked and their is not MOD Security in the cpanel OR Virus Scan was extremely disappointed with the level of security provided for my website.
When I reached out to their support team for assistance, I found them to be unresponsive and unhelpful. They took days to respond to my emails, and when they finally did, their suggestions were inadequate and did not resolve the issue. They Suspend my Webhosting and for the activation Web hosting they charged equal price to hosting. Actually i have purchased web hosting for long term for 3 year :( But

A processing time of 24 hours is disconcerting. I just searched for kayakhalifax.ca at cira.ca and it still shows that it is available for someone else to register. That's ridiculous. Every other domain registrar processes immediately. This is a great deterrence which I would suggest needs to be remedied for me to use or refer DotEasy.com to others in the future.
not the normal process that one normally goes through..i.e. everywhere else when you register a domain name, you get instant immediate access to it and a receipt email etc.. Then to find out after I have ordered that I may have to wait another 24 hours just to get what I paid for. 100% Transparency is always best and honest thing to do. This was not transparent at all. Not happy right now.

Horrible! Took me all afternoon to register one new domain. I used the chat function and Cissi was very rude and not at all helpful. I finally struggled through glitches on your end and was able to complete the registration. You will want to fix the fact that you cannot, although there is an option, put a different card in than is what's shown in the master account. The only way for me to fix that is to update the master account, then START OVER with registering the domain. Pretty frustrating, you guys have been great over the years but today shows that you have lost your way.
Provided respectively requested information and multiply speaking over LIVE CHAT, phone (*******888) and
case ticket submissions (such as Case Number: **************) with Doteasy customer support about the
semydo.com domain transfer, I promptly reviewed everything several times plus asked explicitly from my
side what's necessary and had it immediately performed and despite describing that I was just hoping this
investigation doesn't take longer than anticipated transfer execution deadline possibility and ability to
enter readily available authorization code, no order got fulfilled. In lieu of all this input and
everything conveyed (e.g., email: "Thank you for contacting Doteasy.
Your domain transfer application was declined due to payment declined.") I find letting semydo.com expire
and being taken overwhelmingly reckless and abruptly notorious since payment was never an issue (never had
any problems before and my payment was proper) and hurdle at all for making this happen at expected (few
cents/total amount) duration. This claim is a personal matter which your enterprise generally routinely
attends and I am appalled and greatly dismayed by the current Doteasy company staff and personnel (upper
management) careless behavior. Taken specific preparedness with Godaddy authorization code acquisition, my
semydo.com domain (valued at over particular price amount) should have not been let go beyond given
deadline.
Thus the chosen staff score rating reflecting all injustice.

Auto-renew will be turned on FOR EVERYTHING, and to disable it will not be obvious. You will receive emails which will imply that it is turned off when it really isn't. Then when you get charged a year later for things you no longer want, they will say "Sorry, no refunds".
Take your money elsewhere. I would never do business with them again. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN TO LITERALLY ANY OTHER COMPANY!
It would be good to acknowledge email for any request. Very recently I have transferred the domain with payment, but I did not get any acknowledgement for the receipt and the domain. I am really wonder whether any process could be taken.
I would give Doteasy NO stars if I could. They charged me when they shouldn't have. When I complained, GET THIS, the d-bag manager told me that they had no way of giving refunds. What kind of company doesn't give refunds? That in itself should show people how shady they are. I asked for my money back twice to no avail. I complained with the Better Business Bureau but unfortunately nothing came of it. All I can say is NEVER do business with this company as I see I am not the only one to get ripped off by them.
Your price is really awesome but you need develope your transfer process. Already I have a account but each time you create an account for per domain. I am waiting this process. After when the submitted I am waiting and email for enter the transfer code and blabla.. Other all companies make this process in one step.

After being too exhausted by how difficult Doteasy makes it to do anything like discontinue service, I took a six month break from dealing with them. But this week I dove in again determined to figure this out and transfer my domains. First, I tried unlocking them, for which they have a handy lock-unlock icon. I kept clicking unlock, and was taken to a page that offered me locking service for $6.95 per domain. Well, if it was locked, why would I purchase the service to lock it? Another contact us form later, I found out that no, this service was not on my account. I would have to fill out a form, which would be sent to me by the billing department, before they could unlock my account. If I still wanted to transfer? They made me a $#*!ty offer to stay with them, but I said, no thanks. Three days later, I get an email, not from billing, but from another customer service manager, offering me a better deal to stay with them. Or, I could request the form from the billing department which they need in order to unlock my account. Holy hell, what kind of crazy are they? I am going to make it my life's work to tell the world to stay away from this awful company. They deserve to go under.
While I never had problems with the hosting, when I need to consolidate my domains under one registrar, I decided to go with a different provider. I requested the authorization codes, which were not available to me through my account. To contact them, you must fill out a webform. A few hours later, I got a non-response, trying to get me to stay on as a customer. I had to use their webform to request the codes again. 19 hours later, no response. I've just sent in another request via my open ticket. It should not be this hard to contact customer service and get the information I need, and paid for.
i find it disappointing when you punish your customer for being loyal. It costs more to gain a customer than to keep one... you should not charge me MORE for continuing to purchase domains from you, you should charge me LESS. You removed my $5 per domain because i purchased more than 5. would you prefer i get a promotional price somewhere else?
Doteasy will continue to charge your credit card even if you do not use their services. The fine print you don't see allows this. They will not send a renewal notice and to cancel you need to go through support. You cannot cancel on the web site. Beware.
Was unable to secure $5 per domain. Stated I had reached my limit, but I have not registered a new domain for some time now. Disappointed it did not let me know right away that I did not qualify and explain why.
Registered two domains, when it's time to renew, they don't provide auth code and told me to submit an application in writing and $15 to transfer each the domain. When a company tries to put down all the road blocks to prevent customers from leaving rather than providing good price and competitive service to keep their customers, you know something is wrong. I'll run from this company and make sure to never have anything to do with them.
This company runs a scam, where they bait you for a promo period with a lower domain price and then prevent you from transferring domains out of them until the end of the promo, and then hit you with an inflated yearly charge. My opinion, this company should be taken out of operation, at least not be allowed to rip off the US customers. Oh, Canada! What scum of the earth you have too...
misleading advertising, id rather pay monthly than at once, not clear what you need for the page for a beginner, so many terms overload
While these guys do provide a service, i. E., they don't just take your money and run, they do it in such a way that the service amounts to a money-trap, empting your pockets by sleight-of-hand and deception.
They make it difficult to contact them, they bounce your emails, they require strange forms to be filled in on exit, they levy extortionate exit charges... these sleazy practices have been well described by others.
Unfortunately their reputation is now so bad that it would seem hardly worth their while to try to rescue their name. I forecast that they will milk their customer-base for all it is worth by redoubling the sleazy tricks before the clientelle dwindles to nothing and they are forced out.
Be warned and stay well away.
This company just stole over $600 from me without any authorization for services I cancelled in writing 4 times because their DOTEASY Commerce never worked. They operate outside of The U.S. in Brittish Columbia and are basically scam artists who prey on United States citizens. Report them to The F. B. I.
DOTCON. NEVER use Doteasy. I live in Ireland, and they are based in western Canada. I used to do website design and at one stage had about 30 domains hosted with Doteasy. At the early stages they were good. After a few years however, I noticed that whenever I lapsed a website they started to charge my credit card for totally bogus services for LAPSED websites (the usual charges that everybody complains about, such as spam filters, domain locking etc) These websites were not even on the web!. Negotiations are impossible as they only offer in house "credits" and will not properly explain how they charge and will avoid giving direct answers. They told me that they will not make the name of their managing director public, so I cannot write to their manager?! They get away with this because they are based in Western Canada and know that they are almost untouchable (by myself and many others). I am starting a campaign online shortly to expose their cheap scam which must have net themselves millions.
