I will be fluid painting the tops of the tables and coating them with resin. I will be spraying the basket portion with clear acrylic spray to keep them from rusting. I live on the Gulf coast so everything rust! I will be using these beautiful tables out by our pool to hold extra pillows from our patio furniture. These are well made table with an excellent look and I look forward to using them for a long time!

I ordered a couch from Dot & Bo. The couch order was confirmed and everything. I received an email a few days later saying the couch was cancelled. I tried calling and no one answered. I emailed them and they got back to me saying the couch was out of stock. On their website the couch was still listed with a higher price. I think they just cancelled to sell the couch for more shady.

Terrible service and no one will respond to defective products.
This table has not been used and under a year old.

Ordered 600.00 in outdoor bar stools. Payment was taken from my bank account in 1 day but we have not seen any bar stools and NOBODY will answer an email since that's the only way to contact them. I want to cancel and get refund but I doubt that's possible either. I just want OUT and my money back.

4 emails later NOTHING. How in the world am I going to get my money back now.

After trying multiple times, my order still won't go through. I'm wondering how this company can stay in business when you have to deal with this problem. I have ordered from them before and didn't have this problem.

I purchased a bedding set in May of 2020. Yes I know we are in the middle of a pandemic however it is now August and I still have not received my item. I have emailed their customer service four times over the last months and received nothing. I cannot return my item for refund since I don't have it and it will not let me cancel. I get that 2020 has certainly been a different type of year but come on. It still shouldn't take this long. Highly dissatisfied

I ordered this shower curtain on July 11th 2020. Received it today August 1st 2020. This shower curtain looks nothing like the one in the picture. Where is the butterfly and the other insect on the shower curtain. What a waste of $26.80 I will be contacting my credit card company. No customer service number to call. It's to late for me to return it.

First time buyer from Dot & Bo. The "bronze" shower curtain ordered arrived and definitely was not bronze unless a person would call blue, bronze for some odd reason. Sent it back and yet to receive a refund. I've invested too much time in this to be worth ever shopping here again. That being said, response to the request for MY money back is a cookie cutter, mass generated, computer response stating the curtain was received ( i was savvy enough to save the tracking info so I knew it was) and the money would be refunded in 3-5 business days. It's been 3-5 days. Still no money. WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY.

Dot & Bo sent my order to a NJ address. When I actually live in Florida. Over 1,000 miles apart. I have been emailing their customer service since Saturday. And they refuse to rectify this problem. Since it's a major error on their part. They won't send the merchandise to the address I live. Or won't refund my money. The customer service representative is very rude via email. Probably a foreigner of course. Always customer service reps from a different country. I will never ever order anything affiliated with Dot & Bo again. And I have many friends, and family. Who already deleted their accounts, and unsubscribed from their overload of daily emails. They will also be giving Dot & Bo a bad review. I am call the Better Business Bureau also. Don't trust them with returns, refunds, or fixing any errors they make. You will get nowhere

I ordered shelves and they charged me two days later. After not receiving the merchandise for almost three weeks, I emailed them twice asking about an estimated ship date. Then I got an e-mail saying that they cancelled my order. I e-mailed them back asking when I will get my refund and NO RESPONSE. I had to DISPUTE the charges on my credit card because I never heard from them. NEVER BUY FROM HERE THEY ARE SCAMMERS

I received this trunk back in May. It came broken and extremely cheaply made. The item is extremely large and the box arrived broken so I was unable to return it without a UPS pickup. Basically I lost all my money

I bought a piece of furniture from this website. The amount I agreed to pay was $996. When I got my email confirmation, I see I was charged $1059. I thought that was a mistake and didn't sweat it. It took an entire 2 weeks for the item to be sent. Part of why I ordered if from the website is that I thought I would receive it sooner than if I ordered it directly from the manufacturer (which would have saved me money). What company has a sufficiently dysfunctional website to tell someone they are paying a certain amount at checkout only to charge them more later? I called my credit card company to report fraud. Do NOT buy from Dot & Bo if you don't want to lose sleep over it.

They show stuff for sale even though they do not have it in stock. They take forever to get back to you. Additionally, they offer products showing things like real leather when it is faux leather. Stay away! Also, I called their phone number from their website and I got hung up on. Then the person said I had a wrong number and hung up again.

I GOT THE WRONG SIZE AND COLOR OF BED FRAME AND THEY REFUSE TO PICK IT UP AND EXCHANGE IT FOR THE SIZE AND COLOR I NEED. CAN'T GET ANYONE LIVE TO TALK TO AND JUST GOT A RESPONSE BY EMAIL STATING THEY WERE SORRY BUT TO RETURN IT. THIS IS A VERY HEAVY ITEM AND I AM A FRAIL ELDER AND TOLD THEM SO. I REQUESTED AGAIN TO SEND CORRECT SIZE AND COLOR AND THEY INSIST I CHOSE THE WRONG PRODUCT. THEY DON'T GIVE A $#*!. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. DONT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS PLEASE.

They made me wait two weeks to let me know that they couldn't fulfill the order because they didn't have enough inventory. What is that? They obviously had a shipping container coming over, and knew how many pieces they had in advance. I bought it through facebook, so maybe they decided to sell more of them direct and not pay facebook a commission, or however that works. I just know that in the end, I sat excitedly awaiting my new desk chair, and now have to start all over again. I'd never order from these people again, and you shouldn't either.

We ordered a couch that we were going to use in our boutique for a TV/sitting area. A month after we ordered it I got a notification stating they were canceling the order with no explanation why. Now we've missed opportunities to buy other couches that would have worked for us. Not happy at all!

I ordered 4 bar stools, and 2 of them were damaged. I put in a request to return them and exchange for 2 more. I have contacted them 5 times in the last 10 days and have yet to hear a single word back from them. This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. The return policy is 14 days from initial receipt. How am I supposed to return them if they don't get back to me so I know where to send them back to? I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!

Here is what I am thinking after my first review:

To sum up: I cancel an order less than 24 hours after ordering a 2112$ console.
After 10 days of frustration and emails with dotandbo, they canceled the order and they gave me a refund.
BUT... Since the order was apparently already "processed" when I canceled it, I have to pay for the SHIPPING, and TWICE! Which is more than 600$!

I ask my bank when Dot and Bo placed the order and took those 2112$... it was 3 days after I cancel my freaking order. My order was not processed until that time.

So, Dotandbo: you are really unprofessional and far from being customer oriented.
Telling that I have been frustrated with this experience is an understatement.

It took you less than 24 hours to have my order "processed" (and there is no proof of that) but it took you more than one week to cancel an order. We live in a world where we can communicate fast with email, text, phone.
So, get your $#*! together and don't bull$#*! your customer.
I'm not paying more than 600$ for the shipping of an order that I cancel in time.

Moreover, I read some of the reviews on your company (which are the majority by the way). The exact same situation happened already. Your answer to this customer was that you would improve your service. Apparently, nothing changes since then...

I bought several items at once but only one was delivered. As this item was delivered broken I was in the process of a refund on Sep 23rd and in contact with staff member Craig. Unfortunately Dot&Bo stopped answering my email right in the middle of the conversation and I haven't heard ever since. My money has not being refunded. I am left with a broken item that it's taking over the living room and several items have not been delivered. Dot&Bo, it's only fair to say you need to provide assistance ASAP. This money does not belong to you!

Their customer service is terrible. I've spent almost $2,000 on their furniture in the last 2 years and when my coffee table was delivered without being unpacked, instead of upgrading me to white glove delivery service, which I was prepared to pay for, they suggested I "contact task rabbit." The coffee table weighs 200 pounds and I only weigh 120lbs.
There's no reward for being a loyal customer.
You can get better stuff elsewhere with better customer service.

I ordered 2 living room chairs from this company on May 19,2016. I received an email on June 7,2016 stating the chairs had arrived in Scottsdale and I should expect to be contacted by the white glove service company they hired as I had paid an additional $100 for this service that they offered. Weeks go by no call, I called the shipping co June 30, they advised chairs were in the Scottsdale warehouse but they are not deliverable as 1 chair was missing a button? Dot and Bo had not answered their enquiries on what to do with The damaged product. Dot and Bo has no telephone Number listed on their website. I email them to find out How they will resolve this as I had provided payment On the chairs in May and I still don't have them. Find Out they are working on getting a button from China I may need to wait months. I suggested they deliver chairs and pay To have someone repair the button at our home when It comes in. Their response no button needs to be repaired At the warehouse and I need to wait! Option 2 they Will deliver the chairs and reduce price by $200 plus $100 delivery charge and they may eventually send a button but will not send someone out to repair it! Very poor customer service, I have requested my money Back no response... Warn the public this is not a reputable business

DON'T BUY! FORGER ABOUT THESE POORLY MANAGED PIECE OF JUNK OF A BUSINESS.
Without a shadow of a doubt, Dot & Bo has been the worst shopping experience in my life.
My wife and I bought two lamps for our new home on December of last year with an expected delivery of early January.
I tried talking over the phone to a representative and it's practically impossible. I left two voicemails and they promise a call-back within a business day, which ever happened. They finally replied my emails 2 days later only to say there was a delay and should be arriving by early Feb.
I just logged into their website and my order has been pushed back another month WITHOUT NOTICE! I'm about to cancel the order.

Tip for consumers:
Seriously forget about Dot & Bo. I've used Etsy a couple of times now and just found the same lamp we've been waiting for from Dot & Bo, and even a tad cheaper.

We purchased some chairs (the plastic molded knock offs) from Dot & Bo in May 2015. The chairs arrived timely which was nice but one of the chairs was broken upon arrival. It didn't break in shipping, it was clearly broken when packed. They sent a new base for the chair. All was fine until November(ish) when both chairs we purchased started wobbling. I wrote to their customer service in January and was basically told "too bad, there is nothing we can do because it is over 48 hours of purchase". Okay, how many folks have purchased furniture with a 48 hours warranty. Does a chair even become "broken in" within 48 hours? I am really discouraged because I could have paid more money for the real deal but went with this company because a friend recommended and because of the reasonable price (still $400 almost). Now I am out the money and I have to buy more expensive (and reliable) chairs for our office. To say I am frustrated is an understand - I am very discouraged from poor customer service to crap products.

Awful company! Should not even be in business. I ordered a small item ( I was planning on ordering furniture later on) and have gotten the run around on ship time for about 2 months. They blame everything on systems integration and rapid growth. The only growth I have seen from them has been in their horrible reviews. 25 BBB complaints in the past year.
