Outstanding Service - Done Right!
September 27, 2022

I am so impressed by Done Right. It is the perfect name to describe the owner Bruce's passion, quality, consideration, and friendliness. If you are considering any landscaping projects you want to call Bruce. I am so happy I did.

My wife and I take regular walks and hikes throughout most of Middlesex and couldn't help but notice over the years the many properties with immaculate landscaping and design by Done Right.

I have used landscapers over the years and quite honestly have become frustrated with the service and cost. As much as I like taking care of my own lawn, I know my limits. It's like coaching soccer when the children were young. You may only go so far before you need somebody who does it for a living.

I wanted to aerate my lawn and decided that this may be an opportunity to meet Done Right. I called on a late afternoon last Friday and reached Bruce. I had never met him. When I told Bruce what I was looking for and asked him if he would consider that small job he immediately said of course. He asked where I lived and when I told him near the Stoneham/Wakefield line he said that he was actually going to be in that area quoting a hardscape project and could stop by and take a look. How is that for a quick turnaround.

Bruce came by early evening and I was immediately impressed on how friendly, kind, and outgoing he is. I appreciated how he took a careful walk throughout the property and how he notices every single detail! He never once tried to push any other services on me although it is clear he loves his work and loves to talk about how he travels throughout the world for real ideas, designs, and how to properly upkeep and maintain.

When I asked how soon he could do the aeration since I wanted to overseed he said he'll do it Monday or 'Tuesday if I wanted. He knew it was important to me to have it done soon and he wanted to take care of us.

Well there he was with his crew today, Monday. I quickly saw that their equipment isn't what you rent at Home Depot, It's the real thing. As they aerated, Bruce starting using a cultivator to prepare certain damaged parts of my lawn for seen. I felt bad that they were just supposed to aerate and here him and his team are also going along the edges making sure everything was Done Right. Bruce also noticed that our Red Bud tree had several branches touching the house. He was begging me to let them prune it at no cost! That's the way he is. He truly is passionate.

I could write much more. I'm so glad I met Bruce and part of his team. It all makes sense now when I see those beautiful projects he has designed and completed.

Special thanks to Done Right!

THE BEST WORK. A MUST HIRE!
April 18, 2019

My name is Jeffrey M. I'm from Lynn Ma. Today, we had Done Right Landscaping come out for a transformation. But first, let me tell you how this new found and forever relationship started. I grew up in the town Done Right started out in. I've known his work since I was a younger person. Seeing it all around town and always amazed at his work. Fast forward 25years and I have my first home. My wife, kids and myself have been living in it for 7years now. It's now time to move on to something bigger. I knew this house needed an exterior jump start if we were going to sell. I called Done Right Landscaping and spoke with the owner, Mr. Bruce Aleo. I explained my situation and he immediately fit me in to his already busy schedule. He came over one night after my 3year old twins went to bed (I thought that was extremely kind of him that he realized how busy a day with twins can be and took time out of his night to come meet with my wife and I). We walked my property and spoke for over a solid hour. He went through his ideas VERY clearly and it made sense. He also gave me GREAT home owner tips on how to spruce up other areas in my home to make sure it shinned, for example, I had rusty wrought iron railings on my front steps, he told me to get a metal wire brush, some sand paper and a can of high glossy spray paint and give those railings a new face lift. It made my stairs look amazing! Something I never even thought of.

Now, one week later Bruce and his team showed up to my house a few mins ahead of scheduled (always amazing to have a contractor come to your house early, than late!). He arrived with multiple trucks and tons of equipment. He walked the property with his team, marked off all the new areas of design and walked me through the process that was about to happen.

He and his team spent over 5 hours at my house. I've had other landscapers come and they were done in a couple of hours. I've NEVER seen a team work so in sync. 3 gentlemen hard raked my yard, another gentlemen worked in my kid's playground area cleaning that out, another gentleman trimmed and pruned my bushes. After about two hours of just that cleaning they then moved on to all the new edging and design. I can't even begin to explain how SHARP AND STRAIGHT their lines are they make. I was absolutely STUNNED on how sharp these edge lines are. His teams work is so precise. They truly take the time and do it right.

After edging in the new designs for the front and backyard, his team cleaned the whole yard again with rakes and backpack blowers. Now, his team laid out around 6.5 yards of new mulch. Bruce recommended the black mulch to play off my white house and the green grass. We usually use red. We have been wrong this whole time. The black is so clean looking. His team then moved on to thatching my property. After thatching the front and backyard they then aerated it. After all that work, they then cleaned up the yard, again. They always made sure the yard was clean. Now, they laid out a starter fertilizer and dropped new seed (we have a dog who ruined the yard). After all that, what did they all do next, CLEAN. I was so amazed and stunned on how clean they always kept my property while working.

The pictures I've attached literally don't do it justice. His name DONE RIGHT is exactly what he and his team does, they DO IT RIGHT! His pricing was very fair for the amount of work they did. I am forever a customer of Done Right Landscaping. I think the one best thing about Mr. Aleo is he actually cares about your property as if it was his home. I never had a thought in my head that said, is he rushing me or acting like some people do and upselling me? Nope, everything made sense and his work proves it.
Done Right Landscaping, I can't say it enough. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! We are in love with our yard again. We are forever not just a customer of yours, but we can now say we are part of the Done Right family. If anyone is ever thinking of landscaping work, don't waste your time, CALL DONE RIGHT!

Thank you again Mr. Aleo,

The Martin Family.

Done Right Landscaping Review
October 21, 2016

In September of this year, Forestdale Community Church gave me the task of finding a landscaping company to help us improve the appearance of the entrance way and the landscaping of the front of our church building. I got three different quotes from landscaping contractors. Bruce Aleo, from Done Right Landscaping was by far the most knowledgeable contractor that I and a group of our parishioners had met with on two different occasions. Bruce knew exactly what would look best and he measured everything off giving us two quotes on this project. One quote was less expensive without a cobblestone boarder. We chose to go with the pretty cobblestone boarder along our front walkways.

Bruce and his crew of seven young men showed up on time the start day of the project and removed old weedy hedges, yew bushes, rhododendrons and stumps. They also removed old shrubs with the stumps on each side of our sign on the front right side of the property. Then they began the process of trucking away the old and bringing in the new.

Done Right Landscaping power edged and dug a trench for the installation of 84' linear feet of new regulation size cobblestones and set the border in concrete. Then they delivered and spread 8 yards of screened loam creating raised planting beds for flowers and for the new sod lawn of 480 sq ft. They installed 3 sections of black aluminum edging as a border separating the grass from the back mulch beds. Then they planted about a dozen mixed color mums around the two signs. They also installed commercial grade landscape fabric in the mulch beds to help prevent weeds. Then they delivered and spread 3 yards of premium red cedar mulch.

The job was fully completed in about a day and half. His crew worked in a very professional manner and Bruce also threw in some extras too. He had his team seed and use starter fertilizer along our neighbors side in order to help blend the two lawns. He also weeded and mulched a city tree on our Gordon Street sidewalk along with cutting our back lawn and string edging it.

So if youre looking to improve the landscaping of your property, we at Forestdale Community Church in Malden recommend Done Right Landscaping!

I have received nothing but good positive feedback from the parishioners. The following is a comment from one of them.

Hi Paul,

I was at a Deacon meeting this morning and saw the front of the church. WOW! What a beautiful job they did. Thank you for your effort on leading this project. Change sometimes is difficult for people, but this beautiful change can only be met with gratitude for a job well done. The church now looks welcoming, reflecting a vibrant alive church; I am greatly impressed and thankful.

I will have the final check for you on Sunday. I have printed the invoice but need the final approved disbursement sheet for my records.

Thanks again for all your work,

Jerry
