This app is a scam. Dominican Republic is a poor third world country so they allow the women in that country to sign up for free with full access. But they overcharge foreign men & only allow us the ability to see and respond to messages only after we pay the exorbitant subscription fee. Plus 100% of the girls on this app are scammers trying to get you to send them money. Tinder is a much cheaper option. The Gold subscription will allow you to set your location to DR. The girls are more genuine

I've gotten dozens messages from women and been in communication for a while. They are professional scammers and they will trick you with the most convincing lies and scenarios. My advice is to stay far away from this site. 99% of them will request money. I've spoken to 1 person out of probably 50 who is legitimate. Nothing but a lot of wasted time, false hopes and deception. Better off visiting and meeting people in person

Only to those people that are really looking for something serious. It's not a scam. I met my wife two years ago and now I speak Spanish and I'm living in the Dominican Republic. I work in the states. I love going home. We also going different places and enjoying my life. So give it a chance. You will find a lot of women that want money and some that just want conversation. Give it time.

If you're a reasonably attractive white dude, it will be a good ego boost & will obviously be an even bigger benefit if you travel there. Other than that, it's kind of pointless & it certainly helps to know a little Spanish since many users don't know more than a few words in English.

I've been one the site and travelled to the country many times and recently married my Dominican queen. It's true that 99% of the women will ask for money. But that's not the problem. The problem is distinguishing the difference between the good women who are really struggling and need help and the ones who are only running game. The struggle is real in many parts of DR. I've seen it with my own eyes. It's not a place to go looking for love if your not in a position to offer support. It's just a matter of choosing one who's legit and being ready to travel.

The site has plenty of women to choose from. Which is a good thing. I have met some people on the site. The problem is that there are plenty of scammers on the site looking for you to send them money. They will use every excuse in the book for you to send them money. I have been on and off the site many times and have found a way to rule of the scammers. My advice is to never send money to anyone that you have not met in person. I have forwarded complaints to the DominicanCupid personnel but no action against the scammers ever happens. The same scammers continue to be members of the site.

First off, I speak decent Spanish and I think that makes a difference. I think a lot of the scammer/golddigger (in the DR the word is "chapiadora") impression comes from the Dominican culture itself, no so much the website. The Dominican women expect their men to essentially give them money in order for them to date and have sex. Definitely a lot of chapiadoras on the site but I did travel and meet a beautiful girl 13 years younger than me and I stayed with her at her house and had sex with her. Not sure if it's gonna work out long term though.

You will be contactado by beautiful young women 19 -26 all asking that you contact them via WhatsApp. Once you contact them they have access to your WhatsApp. They will also ask you to go meet them in the Dominican Republic. Very dangerous if you accept. Once you accept the WhatsApp contact their profile disappear from the website.

It is a sad game where the only winners are the owners. I have spent money and do not have a single full name, email address, phone number, nothing. I am not paying to chat. I paid to meet someone not buy the guy a Beach front condo. They never responded to my request or complaint.

I placed a profile and received a good number of responses. I paid to contact them with no luck. I provided my email and received no response. Two days before the 30 days expired I had a run of over 30 women interested and no way to contact them except to pay another 30 day fee. I complained under another email address and was promptly told to contact back on the email address listed with my profile, I did as requested and received no response back.

I have been on here only a week. These pictures have been harvested in order to pursuade one to move to a different site. I had several "women" get me to move to WhatsApp. They then ask for money. One tried to actually extort $2000 from me through blackmail. I contacted the authorities.

If you are here just to talk to Dominican woman you will be fine but if you talk to American girls or foreign girls on here that are not Dominican... You will deal with disappointment. I talk to Mulatto Mexican from California and a Puerto Rican from Florida and they were both strange in communication-wise. This stupid Puerto Rican blocked me for no reason. Every question I ask... They found it weird and strange. That is why real Latinas from Latin countries are better than the Latin girls from the Americas. I find Dominican girls on this site more nicer and friendlier. I got even numbers from these Dominican girls without problems. But the American girls on here are just strange and full of garbage. Real Latinas don't come from America... They come from real Latin countries. Latina girls from America are garbage compared to the real Latinas from Latin countries. If you avoid American Latinas on this site... You will be fine.

I signed with Cupid Dominican as a standard and suddenly after two auto payments they ask me to upgrade to platinum and I refused but suddenly they locked my membership I can see the other membership but I can't send or read messages. It's the worst they took my money and they refused to rembers my money.

There was only one legit woman that was really looking for a boyfriend (from the U.S.A.). Only a few people are legit... However, in less than a month I gotten like 100 messages and likes from Dominican women in photos saying they were very interested in me and wanted to get to know me. However, nobody ever message me back which was very heart-breaking (except the one from the U.S.A. that was looking for a sugar daddy). Its either a game of how many men likes them online or a website scam to try to get people to pay... At first, beautiful women are trying to contact you, but you can't message them because you are not a paying member (yet neither are they, but they can message you as standard members and you can't which doesn't add up). Why is the question? In addition, many answer you the exact same phrases. For example "hola amor" or "queiro conocerte" then they say "contact me through WhatsApp."... And after I did, not one of them ever send me a text message back or on DominicanCupid either (when I tried to contact them, even using different devices). The sad part is that they all return to the website under their activity page but never message me ever again. They don't even try to get to know you at first... Many that originally send you the messages want to chat on WhatsApp instead of using regular texting. The problem is that nobody ever responded to me on WhatsApp (when I tried over 50 times)... I paid for Cupid to originally get to know someone on the website (to start with) not go to a different site or app to chat and they all say the same thing... In addition, it doesn't make sense many seem to tell you the exact same word for word phrases... Unless, there are some real evil people that created hundred of accounts to hurt as many men or women possible... But why would the website allow people to created hundred of accounts? Many women have the same photos with different names and ages on different Cupid sites... I don't know if some members work for the website to try to lure people to pay, but most seem to be playing some kind of game, especially the very attractive ones in photos... Either the site is all about money by entertaining you with messages or Dominican women are all evil that like playing with your feelings online. This is all just plain evil and immoral... Its never o. K. to mess with people's brains and emotions for money or fun... They should also get rid of the someone viewed your profile feature. How does that help to make someone feel better if someone attractive don't message or like you?
