I live in Spry, Pa. *******, our NEW STORE at 2603 Course Rd. Was doing really great, stocked, prices where good and the people had the store stocked very well, well in the last couple of month's that's all changed, store doesn't have half the stuff it used to have and the things people use the most of is rarely in stock anymore, Dollar General was a " God Sent " for those of us on a tight budget, Very Sad they don't care. LET'S GO BRANDON.
It's a good store but the line moves so slow. The lines are long and is taking up the aisle. I get that they may be short staff but something needs to get figured out. I feel bad for the one person who is up here all day doing everything.

I moved to a small town where a DG is close to me, and I love it. I hadn't shopped in a DG since I was a kid, but the quality of their products has improved a lot since then. Everything is super cheap, from cozy yoga pants to Prego spaghetti sauce. Lots of brand name stuff cheap, and their house-brands range from "so-so" to "as good as name brands. There's a much more expensive drugstore store next door to my DG and I have fun comparing their prices, DG is always much cheaper.
My wife worked here until tonight. She starts a much better job Monday! Their reviews are fake. Her manager and district manager made her as ASST MNG write fake reviews nightly with receipts customers didn't take. They're horrible people to work for and very rude! The product in this store goes bad often because they won't fix the AC or refrigeration in the coolers. Joanna the store manager and Amanda the district manager are very unprofessional and very untrained for management. I'll never shop at any DG again!
There is nothing right about this company. Customer service is horrible, corporate office operator #2 is rude and would not offer help. I bought 2 gift cards from one of ur shops and they didn't active the cards I went back they kicked me said I could be scamming them when I told them to check the camera's for extra prove that I came and bought them... It's getting wrose everyday
I went to the Dollar General on Lawyers Rd in Mint Hill, NC. I got my items up to the checkout and one of the 3 store employees that were having a giggle fest in the aisle came up to tell me that I had to use the self checkout machine. I left my shopping items in the register floor and left. I don't work for Dollar general and if I'm going to have to check myself out, I need to get a discount to cover my labor. If I went out of my house to a real store I need to have employees take care of me, otherwise I'll buy it online and have it delivered. Rex Mengering

Beside being out of stock on items I went to buy an item that had 5.00 dollars on the tag but was told that was the wrong price and they said they could not give it to me at that price. They are supposed to sell it for what ever the tag said but would not. I will never shop at a Dollar General Again.

Metter Ga dollar general is a joke it's a mess and if you find something on clearance that is on your app they won't honor it. Why do sells when it's shows marked down they say they can't sell it. Maybe that's why you lose your customers.
There this store at 4 Country Estates Road in Greenville New York that they employees are perfect in every way. Especially, cashier Laura, Assistant Mananger James and Manager Trishia. These 3 Everytime I go inside always work hard to make sure you get everything you wanted and they always smile while doing so. Please let them know how wonderful employees they really are and I hope they get some just rewards!

While picking my family up from work the other night I found out that Dollar General has a practice to check their employees bags before they leave work. Not just the bags if they purchase something, but also their personal belongings. My family's purse was searched. I asked what were they doing. She said the policy of Dollar General is to search each employees' bags and personal belongings to make sure they are not stealing from the store. So, Dollar General believes that they have thieves working for them. This store doesn't even trust the people working for them. Or to make it look legit for searching minorities; they check everyone's bags. Because my family is the only minority working in the store. And even though she is supposed to be full time; they've only been giving her two to three days a week, unless corporate is coming in the store. I told my family not to buy anything else out of this store. Don't give back the money you are earning to people who don't trust you or treating you like a pawn. Working while black. They don't treat the customers like thieves (or maybe they do), just the employees.
When DG first opened it was wonderful but walk in the ellenboro one today & honestly it's like they have thrown everything up in the air and where it lands is where it stays. It is filthy. Does no one check the he stores? I am so disappointed in this business.
The first time I bought a Sylvania, at Dollar General (Canton, IL) it gave a error on DVD playing. As I thought it may just be the brand new DVD I bought I tryed it in my friends DVD and it play just fine. Not only did it give a error, but it also skipped. No longer having the recite I purchase a new DVD player from the same store. The first day it skipped on the brand new DVD I had in it and did so within other DVDs. I return it for a new one that also skipped. The one I got from my return had a issue to automatically close without you hitting a button which caused it to close as my DVD was not all the way in, which had caused a scratch on that brand new DVD. The DVD player after that would not load to play the DVD or any other DVD. Since they do not allow your money back why than would I return it for another? 29.95 for each player, and $7.00 on my scratch DVD.
