First of all I will say that I am not I repeat not a employee. I am a concerned shopper, I shop Dollar General on a daily basis and they are short staffed and underpaid. Dollar General you need to get off your $#*! pay your employees that are sticking it out during the pandemic for you to make money and pay them well nobody wants $10 an hour to risk working when they can make better money sitting on the home on their butts. Hire more people raise your starting pay from $11 an hour to $13 an hour $14 an hour give your managers $18 an hour assistant managers $16 an hour. You are putting profit above employees if you wish to strive in this location Dayton Xenia Road Dayton Ohio he will pull your head out of your buttocks and listen to what I'm saying. Shelves empty, store is filthy, dead rats under chip racks slowest service ever. Line wait is always at least 10 min long. Employees said there 4 trucks in the back how? I go to Dollar General Store in Dresden TN...#******* every weekend. And every time i go the manager Brandy is very unprofessional and rude to me and other customers. I went in today and i was going up to the check out line and another cashier open and said she could get someone. Well as the cashier was ringing up my items. The manager was telling me and the cashier they lost another customer because of me. Saying i cut line. The man should have went there if he was waiting. I looked at her and said i didn't mean to cut line no one was over this side at the time. She gave me a go to hell look. She is the reason why you would lose customers because of her attitude. And she needs an adjustment. Im not the only one she does this too. I have heard this from multiple people about her being so rude. I have been in management before you don't treat customers like that. And someone with her attitude has no business being a manager. Yea she might be a good worker but if you don't have the ethics to go with that, then that makes you a horrible person. Something really needs to be done about her. And if i have to the next time some of my friends and family tell me she has been rude to them. I am going to tell them to contact corporate office. And she wants to say she lost a customer cause of me... im not an employee there you dont blame a customer for that... the next time i get rude treatment from her you will lose me, another customer!

I had another negative experience there last summer, adding insult to injury, but I decided to go back today for the first time. I understand that the management is grossly underpaid, and that trickles down in the form of attitude. Your Morris NY store is terrible, when it first opened a few years ago it was clean and as time has gone on it is not. When you go in to shop you can barely get through the aisles they are are full freight carts everywhere. There is nothing on the shelves usually there is one person in the store working. This has been going on for quite some time I will avoid shopping in your store.
