I cannot return any items from one store to another even though I don't live in the town that the store items were purchased from in the first place so therefore I have to wait until another trip or make another trip miles away from a General Dollar General store here trying to get in contact with Dollar General is a joke because I get the same number for every store and it leads me straight to voicemail which nobody returns my calls when trying to call the 800 number I'm put on hold for at least 30 minutes told that I've got a two minute wait. And I am number one in the queue huh still left on hold Dollar General does not have good customer service they don't care about their customers apparently and all I want to do is return items that I no longer need with a receipt that I do have for my items before the 30 60 90 day grace period that I'm allowed

Dollar general Georgetown SC Brown ferry area. ******* on 2/11/******* at 3:45.The worst customer service staff need more training cashier was on the phone with a friend/family. Apparently got up set because I told the young lady she was so rude and unprofessional. I told her the bacon was bad it had black mole on it look like. And I told her I did not want it. But she insist that I buy it. Then she went on to say I wish customers new what the want
She absolutely needs to be fired Or on probation along with more training one for trying to sell me bad bacon and for having the worst attitude ever. I see why there such a big turn over
They keep hiring ignorant employees that do not have clue about being customer friendly. Please reevaluate before hiring..

I went to the Pontiac and Broadway Dollar general in Wichita Kansas yesterday there was an old white haired lady there she is always very rude to customers disrespectful has not a problem in the world telling customers you can go to Walmart nobody ever asked you or told you to come in here and shop that works here she was informed yesterday that the price tag was incorrect on a 2 l of Orange crush and the customer had informed her that well that is false advertisement I mean just for future reference for other customers would you please have somebody update that price she said if you don't like it you can go to Walmart and never come back here I put I put my merchandise down right there actually just left it in the cart put what I had left in the car I just walked out from there I will never go back to that Dollar general again I've attempted to leave a review on that Dollar general's website but unfortunately I'm unable to but please do go to that locations reviews you will see the same lady getting continuous after continuous after continuous horrible review

The women here that was attending me was awful and was very rude and disrespectful.Also attended my grandma and was very rude to her too everything about this dollar general was awful.NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!

Me and my friend's went to a dollar general in Crawfordsville Indiana by the circle k and the laundry mat and there was this chick that called the cops for no reason she was a complete $#*! don't get me wrong some of them aren't $#*!es but one of them are a bit h next time I see her I'm flipping her off and dollar general oh and dollar general in Crawfordsville does not have there shelves stocked

Seems these days they keep building new dollar generals with no staff to staff them. Floors are gross roll containers all over the place, attitudes suck, i will have to say i will be shopping your competitor from here on out. Geesh Family Dollar is much cleaner, staffed better and friendlier service, i hope you fo out of business for being so greedy

I was at the dollar general in Napoleon Michigan and paid for 3 cans of tuna fish 2 cans of chicken soup a bag of cat treats and box of ai gratin potatoes and 1 pack of 2 pair cleaning gloves your stupid employee put everything in the bag except the $5.50 pair of gloves so it cost me $ 15.00 for and you kept the most expensive things the glove's I bet your employees are keeping stuff and then returning it for the money I'll never go there again or to any of your store's bunch of lazy people who are thieves I'd of put zero but it doesn't let me

I don't understand why I can never find an employee or have difficulty finding one. I have some severe medical problems so when I can get out I have to make it quick. Hard to make it quick when what I wanted to buy needed an employee's input. I and several other customers were waiting. Got sick of it and went to the back for employee's only so I could yell for someone. Way off in the distance I heard her say she was coming. I never should have had to spend myself out like that. I can't be hunting down employee's. I won't go back because of my health problems and the lack of help in your stores. Must be a franchise thing because I had this same problem in Pleasantville, Ohio. Yall need to figure out something different. The new system you have to save money really SUCKS!

Stopped in at Dollar General in Superior, Wisconsin today, and I am pretty sure it is illegal to keep a workplace at 51 degrees Fahrenheit! My beverage feels ice cold off the shelf! If they can't afford to properly hear the facility, they should just close it.

The DG in Pollocksville NC is a mess. Most of the time there is no one behind the counter because they are out smoking. No one wants to help. I almost fell today due to stock overflowing in the aisles and being propped up. Ridiculous!

Hi, The dollar general on 6701 S Peoria, Tulsa OK. The staff is very friendly when the store is open. Closed more than open. My issue is everytime I go in and use my debit card on one of the register it never goes through. Not an for insuffient funds issue, but because the one register always has issues. The problem I have is there is another register available and never had any issue with that register and my debit card. When the 1st register is having issue I'm never offered to rescan my purchases on the other register that usually works, Instead I've been told that they're sorry and its managment issue, per the casheir, "I'd never come back". Having to go else where,being that store is literally across the street from where I live. I've had to travel to another location to purchase my item. So again, it's never a insuffient funds issue, i have enclosed the receipt to where i had to go somewhere for my purchases, because the cashier said to do so. It's the main register the store choses to use, and never offer the 2nd register for transactions. Thank God I have transportation, but the convience is important to any consumer. I won't even get into how often the store is closed on regular business hours.

Don't worry dollar general is not the only place I go to get my things. But if I say I don't spend money there that's a lie because I'm always saving money by spending at dollar general!

So my first experience with this store I walked in and you couldn't get down the aisles because there was product everywhere so I applied for a job they said they didn't have any help so I began working there in June and up to the week when I left I had worked 70 hours a week they got a new management in there and the old management had told me that I could have the stuff they were throwing away well the new management came in I'll play fired me and then trespassed me from the property after I busted my butt for this company the store has not gotten any cleaner since I lived I was actually getting it into some form of we can walk down the aisles I did nothing wrong with that store other than work too hard for them to be unappreciated I wouldn't recommend going to the store to anybody it's the worst Dollar general I've ever been in. It's no wonder they can't keep employees they treat them like crap

I certainly have a lot of opinions on how a retail store should be run. Dollar General shocked me again just last night New Year's Day. I go down to buy something from my local dollar general and find a sign on the door. They have to close for one hour to restock some perishable goods. If this is the way corporate runs their stores, they don't even need to be in business. When we are in a food desert as Sherwood Shores in Gordonville Texas is there is no excuse for closing a store at 7 PM for one hour, one of these days, a real store will find its way into the Gordonville area and hopefully fill the needs properly of the community. If I could leave one star, I would but to start to review I had to give Dollar General at least one star.

You guys are $#*! at adding simply 57 to a amazon gift card, like just type it you slow dip$#*!. Anyways, $#*! name for a company that makes me pay 3 99 for a moldy, expired, smelly, fishy swamp $#*! chocolate milk that honestly gave me anal corruption and the horrible $#*!s
