Dish on Market is a superb business class restaurant in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The food and service are consistently excellent. I live in Florida and visit Louisville at least once a year. I ALWAYS dine once or more at Dish on Market. The restaurant and bar are family owned, and the owner has for the past two years won cooking competitions with demonstrations. I have referred friends who were visiting Louisville, and they raved about the meals, even calling me from the restaurant. I have never had a bad meal there, but the fried chicken is absolutely the best I've ever tasted. I heartily recommend this restaurant to Louisville locals and to travelers to the city.
