Everyone is always so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced! When I went to visit for some tire pressure sensors dying they explained the why and the process of fixing them. They even relearned my sensors and fixed a leaking valve stem which was very kind of them! Overall experience was a 11/10!
I usually go to this place for every tire need for the last 5yrs. But they messed up my car and won't make good on it.i bought tires in 2023 and went in for tire rotation and one lug nut was stripped on and they had to break off the stud. I asked the guy what now he said "sorry.they do sell the studs at auto zone. But you'll have to take it to a mechanic to fix it." The last time my tires came off the car was when I bought new tires from Discount Tire. Going elsewhere now, SUGGEST YOU DO TO!
Great tires and from background I'm understanding Michelin has something to do with the tire. Regardless the tire is quiet, great response, handling feels great. I paid total just under $600 with full wheel alignment and warranty. Well worth it we all know tire shops been lying and steeling. This one did an honest job for me.
I had photos ready, but seems new phones pics too big for this website.

Tires
Discount Tire is my go to for all things tires for my Audi. Yes there prices are over the top but I stop in to get my air checked and DT is just conveniently located near me. The manager Adam at the store located off the Sam Houston Tollway is just one of those guys who takes care of the customers. He does the research for the prices at other competitors and gives you sound advice on your purchase. I never have to go anywhere else because the whole team takes care of my care needs. Thanks, Adam and Ben they made sure this teacher left with great tires and not a empty hole in my pocketbook.

Tire purchase
Made appointment on line. Second person in line. Waited 20 minutes to talk with someone. WTF. Took about 40 minutes to get to my truck. Once they started, it was fast.

Rotating and balancing tires that were purchased at earlier date
I buy all my tires here, so I am VERY familiar with Discount Tire. Their after-the-sale services like rebalancing, rotation, and flat fixing are all free. Even including about $25 per tire of made-up fees, they compete very well on price against anyone.
However, they're very annoying about trying to upsell you things you don't need. I always skip the optional extended warranty; the one time I needed it (and had paid for it) my 16K-mile tires were "too worn out" to replace (according to the Longmont Colorado Discount Tire store).
Recently they've started to branch out. It was bad enough when they started pushing wiper blades. On my last visit, after finding out that I had already had new tires and wiper blades, the clearly-disappointed sales guy tried to sell me new lug nuts. I would encourage anyone to STRONGLY push back against wiper blades, lug nuts, extra tire warranties, or whatever other extra-money-making scheme they have thought up lately. This is the kind of "bright idea" that bean-counters come up with. It's hard to measure the cost of making customers mad, but it's real. Something the bean-counters never include in their calculations.
Tip for consumers:
Decline the extra warranty, wiper blades, lug nuts, and any other extra they try to sell you.

Four new tires, mounted and balanced.
I have a 2008 LaCrosse Super that I do not drive often but needed attention due to a nail in a tire. I also knew the tires were at least 5 or 6 years old despite limited wear. I went on the afternoon of 7/21/2023 and it was busier than expected but I had planned my time to get new tires and so I entered regardless. First off I was never pressured to buy. I expected to pay ~$1100 as i had looked up the price of the tires I wanted. I was informed throughout my wait of the situation and appreciated I was regularly updated of my place was in line. During my service, I was informed that my 2 rear tire pressure sensors were bad and that they could tell my front two had been replaced in the past. I told them to fix them but only had to pay for one because of the amount i was spending in the first place for the tires and wipers. In conversation with my attendant, I learned that my wheel lugs were of the type that were not one piece. I myself asked about single or solid lugs and was told they carried them and that I could stop by any time and purchase them. All in all it was a great experience when it easily could have been horrible due to the wait. I recommend this place to anyone with tire issues.
I used to ship tires strictly on price. The older I get having the piece of mind that someone will stand behind their warranty is worth paying a little extra!
1.5 years ago had Discount tire install 6 new tires on Ram 3500 dually.
Went in for a rotation and they won't touch them because of a DOT. Law saying any tire more the 5 years old they can't work on them.
Come to find out a year and a half ago the tires they installed where 2011 tires. New Old Stock.
DO NOT TRUST DISCOUNT TIRE EVER...
May 10,2017. 3:00 PM. Assisted by David Schoolcraft.
I was there to attempt to get tire caps for tires that I had installed two weeks ago. These were 30 year old rims on a '66 Mustang. Very difficult to find these items. David spent an inordinate amount of time trying to locate them. After nearly an hour he was able to locate them and arranged to have them delivered to this location on Thursday. Very helpful, very professional, very friendly. While I waited for David to find out if was able to locate the caps, a lady came to David's work podium and proceeded to be demeaning and uncooperative concerning a tire that blew out... and could not understand why Discount Tire wouldn't give her one free, although she had not purchased tire insurance when they were install some time ago. She was rude thru-out the time she spent with David. Finally, she insisted she speak with the store Manager. She was no more cooperative with him than she was with David. Sad situation. Neither David nor the Manager were out of line as they explained the store procedure with her. (She was there to get something free!) I felt badly for David and the Manager. I commend both of them for their professionalism. I am a regular customer. Glad to be one!
