Shipment was delayed. Once delivered the gasket included shipped did not fit the application. Called several times to get the correct gasket which they wanted me to pay for which I finally agreed for and still never received the gasket. 6 months later the cat failed and the warranty is complete scam.

I ordered a straight forward, bolt on, catalytic converter for my Geo Metro.
The part was wrong and wouldn't fit.
I tried to call them, but no phone number is supplied.
I tried to email but the only option was to request a return.
I supplied their requested chassis number in hopes they could offer the correct part.
Instead, I got a return authorization.
I pay the shipping and they charge me 20% restocking fee for their mistake.
I should have read these other reviews before I ordered from them.

Unlike Discount Catalytic Converter, Rock Auto delivered excellent customer service and Honored their warranty for the catalytic converter.

Do not buy from them! The part was defective and they do not honor their warranty. Please do not purchase they sell defective products!

I was kind of nervous about this company at first after reading the negative reviews and had already placed my order. Besides the shipping taking alittle on the long side I would recommend this company, I got the exhaust system (straight from the manufacturer) I was looking for 100 dollars cheaper than anyone else I could find. I'd definitely order from them again.

This company will not honor their stated warranties. I had a 420 code that calls for emission parts. I changed all parts (valve cover, 2 o2 sensors, and 2 catalytic converters)
After less than 6 months and a mechanics report stating that the catalytic converter needs to be replaced they would not replace anything.
ANYONE SHOULD BEWARE OF ORDERING PARTS FROM THIS COMPANY.

I wish I would've read these reviews before I bought my converters from them.
The site reads "anticipated ship out time 2-3 days". Ordered parts on Friday and got them the following Thursday. Basically had no car for 1 week but I guess I should've known better but that's only the beginning. I ordered the front and rear converter. While the front converter does fit my car it is shaped oddly enough that my heat shield does not fit over it and I had to modify the heat shield extensively to get it to mostly fit. The site didn't provide the dimensions of the rear converter so once I got it I had to spend time running around to local shops to find extensions and adapters to try and fit it to my remaining exhaust pipe. But that's not the worst of it. I used the exhaust manifold gasket they provided and once I got everything installed after just 1 day I could tell I had an exhaust leak. So I spent another day disassembling the front converter and found that the manifold exhaust gasket they provided had literally fallen apart. The gasket they send with the converter is a piece of sh*t. So after spending another day running around to local shops to find a name brand gasket and getting everything back together. I finally have a functioning exhaust system. I can only hope my "check engine" light stays off and doesn't give me a bad converter code. The only thing this site has going for it is the price. But I guess you get what you pay for.

It's a third party company that will not replace or warranty their defective products! They have to get permission from the supplier. You will lose your money! They DO NOT take responsibility for what they sell. But they WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!

This is a fly by night company in the Philipines. Don't take a cgance of getting ripped off. They canceled my order because out of stock, and 2 days later ran my credit card for other parts. They hold your funds for weeks. Shop America! You want your credit card number floating around Asia?

They changed me twice on my card, and now I'm got drama trying to get back my money. I should have did a review of the company, my fault.

Placed order... didn't get shipping confirmation after 5 days, so called customer service and got a bunch of excuses as to why part wasn't shipped. Charges already appear on credit card! Decided to cancel order and was told they might "accidentally" ship my cancelled order out. Don't use this company. They don't do what website states. Customer services has a book full of excuses!

If I could give this company a negative amount of stars I would. I was 3 hours from my home on a Friday afternoon, when my Mazda Tribute broke down. I brought it to a garage, they said I needed a catalytic converter. Their suppliers didn't have one in stock for my car, I found Discount Catalytic Converters online and called to order the part. Their salesperson - Paul quoted me a price which included a $55 express mail fee, and said it would be at the garage by Monday. On Monday, I called the garage, and the part hadn't arrived. I called the company and spoke to a manager, her name was Rona, who told me that they don't even ship the converters express, she had no idea why the salesperson indicated they could. The only shipping they could offer was 2-9 business days. I reluctantly went ahead with the order. On Tuesday, I got a call from the company saying that the part was no longer in stock. I called Rona again, who apologized and told me she knew how I felt - but did not have the part. The amount of either deception or ignorance that this company operates in is utterly ridiculous. I would never do business with them, I recommend that you don't either!

I ordered the part no problem and it actually came. The problem is that the part was not constructed right. I have tried to contact customer service with no luck. I have even tried getting ahold of someone to return it, still no luck. My advise is to avoid this business at all costs. I wouldn't even recommend this place to my exwife if that tells you anything.

I think the customer service for this website was horrible... I ordered my part, waited over a week with no response, no email. Finally called the 1-800 24 hour customer service hotline just to find out that they never had the paticular part in stock but still billed my credit card anyways! Now i got to wait another week just to get my credit back... seriously?! DONT USE THIS SITE!

They said I would have a tracking number within 48 hours. Nothing yet and it has been a week. I tried emailing the customer service address in the order confirmation and it came back as invalid. When you go to the web site to track the order, you cannot enter the order number. I called the foreign customer service and he said it would take 9 days from the time of the order and he would email me the tracking information. I don't trust them and am about to dispute this with my credit card company.

I ordered a catalytic converter from this website last Friday. Unfortunately I didn't update my paypal shipping information (I just moved) and realized this on the checkout page and contacted them within minutes of my order. They took my new info and said it was corrected. Days later I get my tracking number and it states its still being shipped to the original/wrong adress. I called them back and got put on hold while the woman talked to her supervisor. When she got back to me she appologized and said they contacted UPS and it was corrected this time. Not trusting them I called UPS the day it was supposed to be delivered only to find out that yet again they did nothing. I too only got foreign people when calling there customer service and will NEVER order from this company again.

Please note that the same company out of Carson California is operating under multiple names on the web. My situation was as follows. Ordered a cat. Received email notification that my order was not processed because of a declined card. It was a debit card with plenty of money in the account, but I guess I entered a number wrong and they could not process. Not seeing a toll free 24 hour number, I searched and found another website - Auto Parts Warehouse - and called their 24 hour sales line and placed an order with a gentleman somewhere in India who was difficult to communicate with, but we got it done. Next day, my bank is calling me saying they have duplicate charges and were concerned with fraud. The first website had all processed. Basically, two websites, one company and when they had a valid card they processed both orders! I immediately contacted them - India again, and explained what happended as was told one order would be immediately stopped and I would be credited. Next day I receive a pending debit to the card, an email with an RA with almost threatening instructions and a note that said it could be up to 4 weeks to receive my money back! Not happy with this, I called the 800 number for APW and was promptly connected with the Phillipines. We determined one was in fact headed back to the company, but no refund processed and that it may be 7 days to get my money now. Long story short. Crappy company/companies. When billed, I was billed under OEM Parts Bin. Please beward of all three/one and avoid at all cost. Unless you like being screwed around talking for hours with an overseas call center please please go elsewhere. If you see at the bottom of the webpage, Carson California, stay away!

I really need'nt write anything. More of the same mentioned in the other reveiws. THIS SITE/COMPANY IS A COMPLETE RIPOFF. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, SEND CONFIRMATION THAT THEY TOOK YOUR MONEY, AND THATS WHERE CORRESPONDANCE ENDS.

I bought a catalytic converter from these guys. I ordered the wrong one. I called and changed my order. They changed it. They delivered the converter. It turned out that I had California Emissions on my car, so the Federal Emissions converter I ordered would not work. Then I found out that my car was still under warranty for a new converter. Two months had gone by. I was too embarrassed to call them back. My wife called. They said no problem, we'll take it back. So I sent it to them and they gave me a full refund. All the while, their customer service people were polite and trying to take care of us. They could easily have refused to take the part back, but they took it anyway. So: you can order from these guys with confidence. They are a respectable outfit.
