This book is the cutest and it arrived before Christmas. However I noticed we were the only faces of color in the book. There is a page in particular that has a crowd of people and there is NOT a single black or brown face. My daughter absolutely loves the book and although we teach our children that love has no color I would have liked to see that also displayed in this book.
I ordered the books on 29 October to UAE. They did not provided any tracking number or proof. So called customer support Rachel is giving different and wrong information every time. She said that my package was handed to DHL express without a tracking number but she can't contact them. She insist me to close my dispute of refund on PayPal. They are scammers, my kid will be without his favourite books on Christmas. Kindly avoid them and share more on social media, it will help the people not to waste their money.

I was very happy with the Christmas books I ordered for family members. My only complaint is that there are no Hanukkah books available, as I would have liked to purchase those as well.
I ordered 4 books for my grandchildren. The kids loved reading stories about themselves. One book had dark writing on a dark background and was hard to read to the kids at night. (I can't remember the book but it had piranhas in it.) Also, I would have liked a different animal instead of a piranha for little kids. The other 3 books that I ordered, were perfect.

I ordered 7 blankets before Christmas. 6 were delivered; 1 was missing. I had a difficult time dealing with this, thru chats, emails, and trying to get thru on the phone. Finally, I was connected with Kayla B., one of the chat employees, and she got things resolved for me. Thanks, Kayla!

I put a label on my son's sunscreen for daycare and when I picked him up on the same day, it had completely faded. I mean it was totally BLANK. I read that they should be waterproof, so I contacted the company and submitted a photo. I was ultimately provided a code for a replacement, but not until the rep told me that the labels "don't last forever." Excuse me? Why would I purchase temporary labels for my child's things? I would suggest everyone reading this to just purchase labels from Mabel's Labels in Canada. They are a bit more pricey, but they hold up VERY well. My son is now 8, and the Mabel's Labels that I put on his things 4 years ago are still in tact and look as good as new. The adhesive is great. (I don't work for the company, I just really love their labels.) I should have known better with these Dinkleboo labels - you get what you pay for. The Dinkleboo labels also don't look as nice as the Mabel's labels. They look like something I could have printed myself. I'm very disappointed in the purchase.
***UPDATE*** 2/19/2016
This update is long overdue. I was contacted by a representative of the company. She was very nice and apologetic about the subpar customer service I received when placing my order. I was given a code to order a replacement for my faded labels. Before speaking with Dinkleboo's rep Jennifer L, I was not going to bother. I'm glad I did. The replacement labels are much better. They have improved the quality, and they sent them out quickly. Thank you for caring enough about me as a customer to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. It truly means a lot. For that reason, I'll be a repeat customer. I order labels for my son all the time. I'll change from one star to four stars until I see what the next order is like. Hopefully then I can change to five stars. :)

I would like to research your order and see who it was that assisted you so I can be sure they are handling the customer service inquiries in a professional manner. Your experience though does have me completely stumped. I can thankfully say we have not ran across another complaint of this type which I hope means this was an isolated incident.
R&D was ran on the labels for months before their release. I have put them through the dishwasher probably a hundered times now, have cleaned them with degreasing dish soap, used window cleaner on them and then applied sunscreen after reading your post and have not been able to replicate what has occurred with your labels. I can only assess there must have been some type of defect with the label paper on your order and for this I apologize. I do hope you did use your replacement voucher to give the labels a second try.

We enjoy visiting the zoo and my father bought my son the personalized Zoo Book on Groupon. Ordering up was super easy and the final product is beautiful with vibrant colors and a great personalization I know my son will love as soon as he understands.
My only feedback is it would have been nice to have had ground shipping included in the Groupon, kind of felt like a gift without the batteries. No big deal, again, just feedback.
I will certainly look into other gifts in the future.

Hi everyone! I recently had an issue with my Groupon that I purchased for 1 hardcover book to Dinkleboo. I just wanted to let you all know that if you send an email to their help they will respond to you. It may take a day or two but they will get back to you. Groupon did not put in the dashes that Dinkleboo sent them in order for the groupon to work. I sent an email to customer service and they sent me a new code to use. I have been seeing so many negative comments on here but you have to contact them and be patient. With the holidays they have had a lot of orders. I hope this helps!

The fraud alert is put on the account by the payment processor. I'm not certain why it happens from time to time but it is an issue we can correct. I was thrilled with my photo blankets, they are gorgeous. Obviously for the price they are not the world's hardiest blankets, and are more for decoration and the novelty of giving, and wouldn't survive rugged use, but my recipients of them were thrilled.

You will be so happy to know that I ordered a blanket of our family dog that passed away last November for my daughter's Christmas present and she takes that blanket everywhere. It has been camping, to her sporting events, on our spring break trip and in turn through the wash many times still looks fantastic. The colors are still pretty vibrant! So I certainly hope your recipients enjoy their blanket as much as she loves hers. Another great thing about the blankets is they fold up fairly slim so they don't take up a ton of room when your traveling with them. They fit really nicely in a traveling shoulder bag.:-)

I ordered 4 personalized books for Christmas for my daughters first Christmas on Nov 15. I received an email to say they were shipped Nov 22. My order number is: *******. I contacted the company on Dec 19 to inquire ablut my order, only to hear that they had likely been "lost in transit". How does a package of 4 books get lost? I have never had this happen in my entire life. I was really hoping to get these gifts before Christmas, as I ordered before the cut off time. If they thought they were lost, why was I not contacted? I have now had my messages ignored, when I requested they resend the order by fedex so they would arrive in time for Christmas. I am heartbroken that this personalized gift will not be here for my baby's first Christmas. I'm very upset with their customer service. I now have not heard back from them for several days about my order.

I have had five (5) transactions with Dinkleboo between November 3,2015 - November 24,2015. I have purchased both personalized books, cards from Santa, and children's labels. Most, but not all, were purchased through Groupon. I had absolutely no issues with what I purchased through Groupon. I did have an issue on one order. I placed an order for four (4) books on one order. In that order, I inadvertently ordered two of the same books to be personalized for the same child. I didn't realize I had done that until I contacted customer support and looked at the order details again. In the shipment I received, there were two identical books, but they were for a different child.
I called and was advised that it was more expedient to use the Chat feature. I did that and was rather frustrated at first because it didn't seem that the service rep understood what I was saying. We then corresponded via email. In addition, I was searching to see if anyone else had issues and that's how I found this site. I noticed that Jennifer L. Was responding to customer complaints, so I sent a message to her and requested her assistance. She is AWESOME! Between Jennifer L and Gracie, the service rep, I was told that I could simply donate the extra book to charity if I wished. Since I didn't receive the second book that I inadvertently ordered, I received a credit to my account. I am very happy with the outcome.
It's hard when you order something, especially for Christmas, and things don't go exactly as planned. I would imagine that Dinkleboo is bombarded with orders at this time of year. Sometimes orders are messed up... it just happens when you are really busy. I worked in the retail industry before and I'm sure those service reps are answering multiple calls at the same time on chat. Gracie told me that she could not research the issue until she was relieved from their chat duties. Once that happened she look up the information and send the me an email to try and resolve it. In addition, Jennifer L is diligently trying to satisfy customers who have had a bad experience.
Out of all the things that I have ordered (8 books, 3 postcards, and 7 sets of stickers), the only hiccup I had was with the one order and it was straightened out. I will be back! I can't wait for my grandchildren to get all the things I ordered!

I recently made a purchase after I happened upon this company through a groupon deal. I received my order, within the time frame estimated, only to discover I was missing a label from the sheet. I contacted customer service and an employee, Kayla, promptly responded and had dinkleboo resend me a full sheet of labels, which i received within a week. Amazing customer service! I am very pleased with the labels. They look exactly how they did on the site and stick very well to fabric. I am only giving dinkleboo a 4 out of 5 because without a groupon, i find the labels to be a bit expensive. But i like the variety of designs and texts to really be creative and make the labels something your kids will enjoy.
