This book is the cutest and it arrived before Christmas. However I noticed we were the only faces of color in the book. There is a page in particular that has a crowd of people and there is NOT a single black or brown face. My daughter absolutely loves the book and although we teach our children that love has no color I would have liked to see that also displayed in this book.

She said that my package was handed to DHL express without a tracking number but she can't contact them. She insist me to close my dispute of refund on PayPal. They are scammers, my kid will be without his favourite books on Christmas. Kindly avoid them and share more on social media, it will help the people not to waste their money.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I ordered a book weeks ago and they issued a tracking for me, spoke with someone who said my order will be here by end of week still not update on tracking and no book! I now CANT REACH ANYONE, they won't answer and refuse to give refund! Horrible customer service and they're thieves! Should be disgusted in the way they handle things (these books are for children). Also I spoke to fedex they told me they never received an item to ship out but they see the company created a label and this isn't the first time this has happened with this company!

Delivery was quite fast. However, quality of the label is not what I expected. The print were not accurate with the size of the label, so when removing the label, part of my son's name was out of the label. Very very disappointed. Will definetely NOT order again.

They ship ups them send it to the post office, the post office has no info and loses package. Buyer beware if you buy this as a gift, it will take the longest estimate to arrive if it arrives at all. Save yourself the headache and use a different company

Placed an order with an accompanying email, stating that I was making the order under some time pressures for a birthday party. I outlined if they were not confident that the items would be delivered before my required date, not to proceed with the order.

My email was sent well before the items were printed. They had ample time to cancel the order but did not. While the matter was still being disputed and discussed after I had made it clear I wanted tl cancel the order/our service contract, they sent the items anyway.

They also blocked my on Facebook for leaving a negative review on their page, and will not respond to messages. Imagine they operate in breach of several consumer obligations. Do not order from them

We are very sorry to hear you're disappointed with the service you've received! By looking into this further, I can see your order was submitted on the 1st of December and shipped out on the 2nd. All information is outlined on the website regarding shipping times, and delivery to New Zealand can take 7-12 working days once shipped. This is also the method you selected at the checkout when completing your order. You have stated that you need this order for the 10th of December and taking into account the shipping timeframe, this should arrive between the 13th and 22nd of December.

We also have it outlined on the website that due to our system being automated, we don't have the option to make any changes whatsoever, as production starts almost instantly. Coming into our peak period, we cannot respond to customers' emails as quickly as we'd like, which is why it states we will respond to you within 24-48 hours.

Q: Can I alter my order once it has been placed?
Unfortunately, you can't change an order once it has been placed as our system is automated and production of your finished product begins almost straight away.

I ordered 2 hard cover books. May 8 /20, after 6 weeks, I have received neither book... Sarah at customer service apologized for the wait but did nothing else to track my books or explain the delays... at $25.98 abook this is unacceptable! Someone please help!

The worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I don't believe the high rate of positive reviews here are genuine at all. I ordered a product from them days before their 'last order before Christmas' date. It still didn't show up. Looking through the reviews I am not the only one that had this experience. How can a company that personalises books not personalise delivery, i. E, a very simple tracking code like the vast majority of online shops use? If I had not contacted them they never would have known whether my order showed up or not. Unfortunately, like many others, it didn't. I have been offered compensation by them in the event my order didn't arrive. I have refused it. Instead, I will be advising everyone I speak to not to order anything from this website. They should understand that there is no compensation that makes up for disappointing a child on Xmas day. There is no worse service you could give to a customer than that. Will never ever use this website again and strongly advise others not to.

I ordered 4 personalized bags from this company. These did not come in a reasonable amount of time or for when I needed them. It took them 13 days to even process the payment. Then they blamed me (the customer) for there slow process. Below is from Dinkleboo's customer service:

Hello Courtney, It was only Not successful (my payment) because you folks did not take it out my payment until 13 days later. I ordered the product on March 15,2021.
Is this the usual practice of not taking a payment out for 13 days? I am not trying to be difficult. My first order came in a reasonable amount of

Been playing cat and mouse with Kayla for weeks. Bought a Groupon for personalized cloth bags. Wanted for grandson's 1st Christmas. Constantly out of stock. Was given the option for personalized books. Been waiting for weeks. No books. Shipping label created but product never delivered to post office. Customer service not much help. Will never EVER do business with you again and will make sure I comment on your Facebook ads every time I see one. Terrible company!

I've ordered from this company before without problems--don't understand what their issues were this time. Ordered xmas presents beginning of December never heard anything from them -- emailed asking when items would arrive--get an email saying a refund is being given; department would be made aware of the problem... wasn't my order good enough to be filled--would have liked an answer of why the order wasn't filled!

I ordered 3 Santa bags from in living social I ordered them in plenty of time and I never received any of them... was so upset cause I ordered in plenty of time for xmas and never got them! I even talked to them said they were mailed this company acted like they didn't ever care just took my money with the quickness I will never order again

Ordered name labels for my daughters. Received most (not all of the labels) I ordered as well as some labels for some other little boy (that I obviously did not order). So we were missing some of our labels and this little boy is probably missing some of his. I took the time to write a detailed (and very nice) note to customer service (along w/ photos of the labels and all order numbers) alerting them of the mix up. It has been over a week and I have heard NOTHING from them. I would never use a company that cannot get back to me in a week to correct THEIR error.

UPDATE - I received a response from Dinkleboo, based on this review, right away. The company "re-did" my Christmas cards and had them rush shipped to me, free of charge. They turned out much better than the original, and I was able to get them out in time for Christmas. I appreciate the customer service representative that worked so hard to make a bad experience, much better.

I am a first time customer of Dinkleboo, and after receiving our Christmas Cards (100 count) this past weekend, I am not impressed. The picture that I submitted for the card was taken from a very expensive Nikon camera, and the picture/quality is very clear (I have one printed off and in a frame on my desk). However.the Christmas cards came back EXTREMELY blurry. Especially all 4 of our faces. It looks like it is the type of card stock that was usedbut regardless, they are not acceptable to be mailed out. When I contacted customer service about this, it took 4 days for them to respond (I actually had to send a second email before I got any reply). They stated that my picture that I submitted looks out of focus (which it 100% is NOT), which is why it printed blurry. And that if I want to reorder using a different picture, I will "only" have to pay the $20+ in shipping.
There is no way I am paying another shipping charge over $20 to repeat an order that should have been done correctly in the first place. My picture was not in the slightest bit blurry... but let's just say for a moment that it was... where was the call or email asking me if I wanted to proceed before printing and sending 100 blurry Christmas cards? Very unprofessional. And extremely unhappy with the quality of our cards. Total disappointment.

Ordered a "photo blanket". Was unable to preview the results and what I received had half a photograph which I had submitted. After numerous correspondences with Dinkleboo (God forbid actually being able to speak to anyone, all by email) I was offered a "one-off" coupon which would allow me to pay delivery cost only for a replacement which should have been correctly supplied in the first place. Imagine my surprise (NOT!) when I stupidly tried to use the coupon (against my better judgment) and the code was deemed "invalid". Beyond angry and wish to warn others thinking of using this company.

Don't order from this company. Find another one. Noticed an error just minutes after submitting my order, just wanted a dedication page added since I bought 7 books and 6 had it and one was missing. They refuse to help.

I ordered two books on 19 November which have STILL not arrived.

I've requested a refund by
1. Emailing: Twice they have closed my tickets as 'resolved' without any resolution.
2. Calling: They have "high call volume" and the call disconnects
3. Live chat: Which is "experiencing excessive customer contact" and never receives a response

STAY AWAY!

Hello Kellie - if you have yet to receive your books that were ordered on the 19th they are most likely lost in transit. I will be reaching out privately to help organize your refund if you haven't already received it as we have pretty much caught up with all of the inquiries from the season.

I'm very sorry though that you had trouble getting through to us. This season was extremely busy and yes we were behind on what our normal response times to customer inquiries typically are. You can see that from the posts below. I will just touch on the inquiry methods you have listed above:

- Calls; you should have been given the option to leave a voicemail.
- Chat; is and always will be the fastest way to receive help. There may have been a few times that chats were quite full but as a whole this channel did not experience too many problems.
- Emails; each time a ticket is answered by one of our reps it will close your ticket to keep the inquiries in the queue organized. When you reply it reopens the ticket and tags it to your original inquiry as long as you don't start a completely new ticket.
- Auto-reply: The main feature of the auto response is to help clear the queue of customer inquiries that have been assisted via phone, chat or another email thread. This allows us focus on those customers that have replied "yes I am still in need of assistance". This reply also reopens the ticket. So your case is never closed as long as you respond.

I purchased a groupon on Black Friday for a personalized childrens book and ordered a book for my granddaughter. I received an email the next day saying it had shipped but there was no tracking information. When I ordered the book I chose the economy shipping which says it could take 14-21 days. I was "lucky" that I received it in 12 days. I feel that the quality of this book is very poor for the amount that you pay. There are no cover pages in the front or back of the book. You open the book and the story is right there. I would have liked a cover page to right something for my granddaughter. It just looks very cheesy and cheap. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

I have spent 2 hours trying to buy some silly little name plates that I purchased on Groupon. The site will not allow me to use Paypal or my debit card, even though both are working fine on other sites. The customer service was NO help at all. Apparently you are not allowed to buy anything without creating an account. Then, when you do create an account, the problem still exists. So, then, I tried to pay through Paypal with then sending me a request for money. They want me to clear my cache. I should NOT have to go through this. I will try to get my money back from Groupon, but otherwise, this will be a $5 lesson learned. I guess I'll have to give the one star for having something I could have used.

I'm so disappointed to see so my reviews like the one I'm writing. Same problem trying to use a combination of groupon and living social vouchers for kids books for Christmas. Site not accepting my codes and no response to any of my emails. This really is not good enough with Christmas looming. Martina

For those of us in retail the holiday season is both amazing and challenging. As the season draws near the inquires literally quadruple and this does at times cause delays in our ability to respond as quickly to all of the inquires that come in as we would normally be able to do. I ordered 2 personalized books for my granddaughter. They shipped them UPS to Canada Post. UPS says delivered we never received them, UPS and Canada Post say to contact the sender. After 3 emails to Dinkleboo all I get is a link to click that when I do says the page no longer exists. No way to contact them.

Ordered two Groupon for books, Dinkleboo says codes not valid. Read other reviews and behold same problem. Bad business and social media word of mouth can damage their business. I hope they can help me order my books asap.

I paid for express shipping 2 weeks before mothers day, yet my order went out standard shipping and my mom will not get her gift in time. They "say" they will refund me my shipping but not the price of the product and could not provide me with a confirmation number for my refund. I was not able to speak to a manager either. THIS WAS THE WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD.

I ordered a book on 27/11/2015 with a delivery date the day before Christmas. I followed up on the delivery and they had no processed my order. I requested a refund and they said they could arrange that but it would be a refund through PayPal. I advised I paid for the item on my credit card and wanted the refund there as I do not have a PayPal account and when you purchase on their website you can either pay by credit card or PayPal. They then sent me an email with instructions to sent up a PayPal account so they could refund. I can now kiss good bye my $45.98 and lets just say I have one disappointed child as they really wanted a Christmas book (that was promised to them) with their name in the story for Christmas

Hello Val - My apologies that your order did not process. I'm not certain of the reason for that. If you used vouchers for your order that were purchased from a deal company we would not have taken your payment and therefore would not be able to return money back to your credit card that we had not collected. Your choices would be to go back to the deal company for a refund if you no longer wanted to pursue the order or we would have to do a money send to you via PayPal.

If the ordered failed to process there would not have been shipping charges collected from us but if there had been we would of course reverse those charges as we would have collected that payment directly.

At any rate, you are not out the $46 that you paid if you have not received a product from us. I will private message you to see if I can assist.
