I bought 3 different candles thinking that the candle I had a few years ago that I loved came from diamond candles (it didn't). I got pumpkin cupcake, sweet citrus, and cinnamon bun and was looking forward to the smells and of course finding my ring in each candle. I started with cinnamon bun and when I first smelled it I wasn't for or against the smell. After I started to burn it I really didn't like it but I kept burning it until I found the ring. Next I tried the sweet citrus and it gave me a headache right away so I put it in a room I don't frequent and let it burn until the ring was found. Last but not least I burnt pumpkin cupcake which was my favorite smell before I even started to burn it. I found however that upon burning it the candle lost its smell. I could only faintly smell the pumpkin when my face was right next to the candle. All three of the rings were pretty but none of them fit me (5, 7, 7). Another problem I encountered is that while burn the candles tunnel really badly. I ended up putting foil with a hole in the middle on top while burning the candle which corrected the tunneling issue. While the hunt for the rings is fun its hard to shop for a smell online and there is no option to pick a ring size. Will not be ordering from them again in the future.

Size: At 21 oz, these soy candles will have a long burn life.

Quality: The house-filling smell while burning the candle could be considered 'overpowering' to the scent-sensitive. I will personally be sticking to fruity scents because I discovered the candy and bakery ones seem to be too strong.

Customer Service: N/A

Overall Experience: You will NOT believe me, but my 1st special ring code was a winning $100 ring! I cannot express how excited I am! Now I'm looking forward to the treasures that possibly await within the remaining candles (even if they are gifts).

Pros: Very nice scents that last the length of the candle, candles last a long time, rings are pretty and it is packaged extremely well for shipping
Cons: In my experience none of the rings have been above size 7 (I wear a 9) and the shipping is fairly expensive
In review, I like the candles, I find the rings pretty and fun but if they are not your size and you have no one to give them to then you are really just buying an expensive candle. Worth a try to have a little fun and mystery, not something I would buy regularly. It would be nice if you could actually pick your size. I have bought at least 6 of these at one time or another and could not wear even one ring

I've ordered many times in the past and they were always pretty good product. The last ones I purchased were about one-third the size of The Originals in the cheapest packaging you could imagine with no labels the candles were lower-quality I would never purchase them again

About 2 months ago, I bought the Black Raspberry Vanilla Ring Candle for about $25. The candle itself was ok- nice scent but it was a little light. Also, you had to keep the candle burning in order to maintain the scent in the room. I had this candle in my living room, which might have been too large for a candle of this size.

I did find a ring in the candle, which was a bit too large for my fingers and a bit gaudy. If the ring had fit and was a style that I'd wear, then it would have been worth it. But because the ring was too large and not to my taste, this wasn't a purchase worth $25, imo.

I ordered the LUCKY diamond candle. It is small and looks like something that was bought at a thrift store. It doesn't have any smell and was supposed to smell like cloves. Don't waste your money. Its cheap

My wife received a $25 gift card as a birthday gift a short while back. Recently, she went to use it on the site as directed on the card. However, the link has been removed from the site. So, I reached out to the company for assistance in redeeming the card. Their response via Misty in Customer Support - you must provide proof of purchase along with the card for redemption. Thinking maybe I wasn't wasn't clear the first time as it was a gift, I asked again. No answer. My wife gaining frustration, emailed as well. Three weeks later Misty responds again saying we need to provide the receipt of purchase along with the gift card as now listed in their FAQs. Crazy.

So here's my issue: I bought maybe a dozen of these over the years for a girlfriend. I thought it was a cool gimmick. Well, I took one of an order of four for myself. I wanted to burn one down and pray I hit the lotto here. Historically I have been pretty lucky with things like that in the past. Anyways, I burned the one I picked out all the way down, and guess what? No ring! Very disappointing. I contact customer service and they were extremely unhelpful. They offered to send me a ring by itself. I told them I thought this was unacceptable. First, it's supposed to be a surprise IN the candle, but we all know, if they mail just a ring, it's gonna be a $10 one. Zero chance of a rarer one. They flat out refused to send a whole candle. They lost a good customer and a lot of business.

I placed an order on August 13th and by August 23rd the order still hadn't even shipped. I emailed Diamond Candles and they refused to respond after taking my money. Its a scam.

They advertised 100.00 off 300.00-order. THE COUPON CODE didnt work! Ive been emailing and trying to reach them. Called thier # they will not give you a speaking person! Just tell you to email them. Which they do not respond to! They even sent a how was your service email. Why send it... if you really don't care about how your customesr experience was! Left several message. I was counting on them for a Christmas party gift. What a waste of time!

I ordered a couple candles for an office Xmas party that I was attending on 12/20/18. I ordered these candles On Dec. 5th assuming that I would receive them on time because their website says I should receive them in 5 - 10 days. Today is the Xmas party and I have yet to receive them. They ship via FEDEX Smartpost so maybe that's the problem. Long story short order a month in advance for your special occasion.

I've been using Diamond Candles for a few years now and I love them! Once I received a broken candle and they handled it perfectly. I sent them an email and they responded almost instantly! They apologized and sent me a code for a free candle of my choice. Plus the candles smell great and last forever! They make great gifts :)

I got 3 wonderful candles. They smell great. They all had lovely rings did not win a big prize 10 dollar costume rings but i still love them and had fun playing.

AS MOST OF THE REVIEWS I HAVE READ WE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM :( I did get a ring and a code and typed in code and guess what... CODE IS NOT QUIT RIGHT... REALLY CAUSE I TYPED IT IN OVER AND OVER AS INSTRUCTED ON THE CANDLE SIGHT. This was a gift so glad I did not waste my money. SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY SISTER. SO YOU WANT MY OPINION save the frustration and go to Bath and Body works where Customer Service is real and NO GIMICKS!

I've heard so much about these diamond candles that I knew I just had to order myself one. Ordering was super easy and I got my candle quickly. The candle was packaged well and the scent was great (I ordered the tropical retreat). I wish I was able to smell the scents prior to ordering; obviously that is not possible when doing business online. They should offer scratch and sniff cards that they send for free so you can smell your scent before you purchase it since there's no actual stores. All in all, loved the product and the ease of using the site!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Diamond Candles. They are amazing! I've bought 3 so far. One for my sister and two for myself. The candles are like the cracker jack boxes of adulthood. Each 20oz candle is $25 (the cost of a Yankee Candle) and comes with a ring inside! Most of them are cheap, but there have been ladies who have found rings worth $100 or so. Some rings out there are worth tons more, so it is a very addictive product to buy.

In my experience the candles are strong scented and have a long burn life. The rings I've gotten are very pretty, even when the cheapo ones. There are tons of women out there that also would rate 5 stars on this company. There's even a Diamond Candles Addicts page on Facebook!

I'd definitely recommend these candles. My only complaint is that they sell out so fast! They restock twice a week, but they are so popular that some candles sell out real quick.
