So, my first experience with this Toronto-based company has been sour at best. After searching a mere 20 minutes, I have already found so many issues with this site it's discouraged me from even giving them a second look. I challenge the owner of this business to respond to this review with something constructive. I've been looking for a Canadian Diamond engagement ring. My requirements are: 1. D-F coloring 2. Excellent cut or better 3. VS1 clarity or better 4. Proof of Canadian origin 5. GSI/DIA certificate of assessment for the value and integrity of the diamond/company 6. A picture of the diamond. So, here's how DIACAN rates: 1. D-F coloring 2. Excellent cut or better 3. VS1 clarity or better Yes, DIACAN has these, but beware of their false labels of diamonds that are poorer quality (see the attached pictures and see the difference between what they label on their website vs. the official assessement certificate). 4. Proof of Canadian origin Not available. I sent an email inquiry about numerous diamonds and received no response. 5. GSI/GIA certificate of assessment for the value and integrity of the diamond/company Many of the diamonds have certificates. Quite a few do not. Beware of their false labels of diamonds that are poorer quality (see the attached pictures and see the difference between what they label on their website vs. the official assessement certificate). 6. A picture of the diamond. NOT available. Not a single diamond has a picture, except for a generic picture that they also use against the poor quality pictures of their settings. Other issues: - You can't search by setting type such as # of prongs. - No response from customer service via email (after a few days). If I can't even get an answer before I buy, imagine how frustrated I would be if I purchased and had a problem! Conclusion: The fact that so many diamonds are mislabelled and that customer service does not respond really makes me believe this online store is lacking in integrity and the ability to maintain effective customer relations. When considering an enormously expensive purchase like a custom diamond ring, integrity and response time should be absolutely at the top of the list on a business' priority.

Tip for consumers:
Go to a jewellery store. They have better diamonds, the certificates on-hand, and you don't have to worry about non-responsive customer service.
