Please stay away so you never have to g through what I have for the last year. I was being charged monthly by two companies for the same account. Dexyp and Dex thryv. I wrote 13 letters and made as phone calls and received NO response and they kept charging my account. Finally had to start a fraud case with my bank. No customer service and still, 11/2 years later, no apology r contact at all. STAY AWAY!

They basically just want your money. I tried cancelling my service after my business closed and they apparently had no record of that call, but I had to pay my final bill. Do yourself a favor and do not sign up for their service. I used Google for Business and had better results. Never really knew what they did for me.
We had have nothing but problems with Dex Yp since we started with them a few years ago. We were conned into thinking we NEEDED to use them to be in the phone book.
We cancelled the service in October of 2020, they only cancelled the phone book, not the online. I called at the end of the year as were still getting bills. I have returned the bills to them clearly stating that we cancelled the service.
I called again at the beginning of April, spoke to a man name Chris. He said it was going to be cancelled and we were good. Well, they sent another bill on May 1rst with additional charges on it. I called again today and they said they had no record of me canceling it until April. That is a flat out lie, as I did contact them.
In reading the reviews for them online now, I can see that they have scammed most everyone that has dealt with them. I want the charges removed, and they refuse.

I am a small painting contractor and I foolishly got into a contract with Dex to create and manage my website and Facebook, list my business, and to use Thryv as my customer management system. I asked for administrative access to my website (it is supposed to be mine anyway) and they wouldn't give me access unless I signed my domain name over to Dex. My Facebook updates sometimes had nothing to do with my business - like pushing striping parking lots when that is not a service we do! Thryv is not a user friendly program, it is difficult to adapt to my company, and you can't edit estimates or invoices - you have to erase whatever information you put in an individual item and re-enter it to make any changes, which is a real pain! The program is clunky, I was able to do what I needed to in QuickBooks must faster! Also, I felt like the call volume generated by Dex was much lower than from other sources, but Dex was pretty spendy - Just Thryv was about $285 per month! I got into a cash flow problem and called Dex to see if they would let me out of the final 2 months of my Thryv contract, since I hadn't used the program is over 5 months. It's a tiny amount of money for Dex, but would have helped me a lot. They didn't even try to consider my situation, and refused to make any accommodation - which shows how little they care about small contractors! In the end, I will pay $3,400+ for a program that did nothing for my business. Shame on me for signing the contract, but shame on Dex for their lousy customer service! I will say, my $#*! is with the company, not individual employees, but it seems to me they are all trained to give broken record responses of the company line! I will never have a listing with this company again once my contract is up!
