Thats the question you must ask yourself. If you have spare money and youre willing to take the risk (risk of getting a manufactures defect, which would never, ever happen with authentic), and bad/cheap hardware, and also if you order a bag or wallet that is not very popular, you will get poor quality hardware which I really dont understand. The pattern and stitching is top notch, why cut costs with hardware? Why be cheap with the zippers? Even cheap Walmart wallets have smooth zippers and hardware! Also if youre unhappy for any reason you will get many email responses trying to convince you the issue is fine. Thats the way Chinese do business. They do not do refunds. A sale is a sale and no one gets a full refund. You cannot even take any wrapping off a bag or they will say that you wore it and will deduct 30% from the value for a refund. Its a lose-lose situation. So you cannot inspect your purchase because that requires unwrapping. If you unwrap and are not happy then they have reason to believe you wore it. Really? If its cheap and not counter quality why would you take it outside? Why wear it? Embarrassing. Anyways, its a risk. Dont spend your saved money. Spend spare money that if you lose you wont cry over. You might get a great bag as I did; the Gucci Caleido tote. Its gorgeous! But if you care about hardware then you might be disappointed. The Caleido tote has zero hardware and is made of canvas... thats probably why Im happy with it. But all in all, an authentic Caleido is $1300 USD, and I spent over $1000 USD on my purchases from DD. Dont buy any YSL wallets. Theyre Bangkok night market quality... even worse. Honestly I dont understand what theyre jam is. Theyre patterns are super good, so is theyre stitching. Why are they so cheap with theyre hardware? I bought a Prada Promenade bag and the zippers are so loud! Not smooth at all! And the YSL wallet is ridiculous! Its so cheap! Like I said its Bangkok night market type. Why? Why are you people replicating the pattern so well but youre being cheap with the hardware? I love my Prada bag, but the zippers are awful, nevermind the circular imprint on the leather! Ruins the whole bag! Anyways, Id say choose a popular bag like the LV never full or some other Gucci Opheidea. Buy a popular bag or a bag without hardware. Dont buy a YSL wallet. Thats all I got to say about DD.
