The moderators should be present to moderate activity. They don't. They punish people with differing political viewpoints and seek them out for unequal enforcement of the rules. If you even question them you will be suspended or banned. This is an extremely small site and not at all influential and that is the good news but I would suggest looking elsewhere if you want balanced access to political opinion.

Whether you're left or right-wing, you won't encounter any intellectually stimulating conversation here. "Debates" are really just personal slights which skirt the gray area of the rules which are highly situationally applied towards favored users. The mods are incredibly lazy and ultimately just don't care.

So here is a site about politics that uses domainsbyproxy.com to hide who they are. Why?

My very first time visiting there I saw a post comparing 2020 US to 1933 Germany and I wanted to respond. So I registered, and posted a carefully argued and polite argument, with links to sources, that, in my view, we are more like 1916 Russia. When I tried to post, I got a message saying I was banned for spam and to contact admins if there were a mistake. So I contacted admin, and again was blocked for "spamming".

Like most social media platforms this site will ban conservatives without cause or expanation. The vitriol towards Trump and his supporters is unending but to respond in kind will get you banned from the site without warning or explanation. I should have seen this coming since the site was full of hateful progressive and very few conservative voices. It is shameful that the left in this country has to be protected from any opposing opinions.

After being on the site for a few weeks, and seeing exactly what most of the other users get up to. I've come to the conclusion that the sites population is mostly made up of either trolls, or political whack jobs. Who either do nothing, but post continuous hate/conspiracies, or continually hate on one another.
The funny part, given what I've seen. Is that it's not the conservatives on the site that primarily act like this. There are some, yes, but they're few and far between. The ones that actually do this are those that claim to either be "liberal or even independent", with some that don't even care to parse out their classification.
They'll continually spew hate in your general direction, and when you even so much as talk back to them and challenge their stance. Then you're in trouble of having one of the admins sicked on you as if they were a dog. Watching a good number of threads has shown me that no matter what you see. These people are able to get away with plenty of things that no other poster could even dream of doing.

Just to be clear, there are good people minding their own business on the site, and if you look you should find them. It's just currently infested by the sort of people that would be normally be considered the scum of any typical political debate.

I joined this site recently hoping it might be a place to have serious, in depth discussions about politics. Many years ago, prior to the explosion of social media, we had discussion forums on the Internet where such debates and discussions occurred.

Unfortunately this site does not capture that spirit at all. Most of the posts and threads are not interesting at all because 95% of every thread is just partisans making simplistic partisan attacks against one another. The discussions have the tone and tenor of random Facebook comment arguments, no one argues in good faith or discusses anything in an intelligent way. While it certainly reflects the norm for political discourse in the 2020s, that was not what I was looking for and I advise anyone looking for a place to have serious discussions stay far away.

Don't be fooled, this is a very hateful website. Censorship and nasty gang up styled bullying is common practice. Expect to see open comparisons of various people to that of Adolph Hitler. The moderators are openly biased and even participate in the bullying and name calling. Calls for the use of open violence against supporters of a one political siding is wifely accepted. Certain people are treated differently than others and purges (removals) without cause is viewed as normal. Moderators and administrators turn a blind eye to trolling and often childishly threaten and badger members via private messages.

This site should be removed as being a HATE site. Furthermore, law enforcement (including the FBI) should monitor this site for violent extremist activity. I've literally read posts discussing using violence against others for no other reason then the "offender" peacefully supporting an opposing political ideology.

The only thing a member of this website gains is anger, hatred and division. Actual respectful political debate is literally NEVER seen on this website. Moderators have admitted that the behavior of posters on the site is deplorable and that they unfortunately lost control years ago.

Final Warning: Do NOT use this website if you are looking and hoping to "debate" actual politics.

Truly a dangerous website, if you choose to go there be prepared to have your psyche deeply disturbed. Most of the members are right-wing extremeists though they often identify themselves as "Libertarian", "Independent" or "Conservative". I know a large number of Conservatives, not a single one of them would ever stoop as low as the forum members at debate politics when having a conversation about the current politcal environment.

Name calling, double speak and convenient memory loss are the first tactics then if that doesn't shut you up they'll gang up on you like Maynard, Zed and the Gimp from Pulp Fiction. And they're as creepy and disgusting.

Of course the left leaning people have their problems too (trolls, but who knows, maybe they're right wing extremists too) though most of them are honest and will try to back up their statements with evidence, history and facts. At least that's what I did.

Of course everything anyone says who doesn't identify as Republican or Conservative (or one of the other so called parties I mentioned above but with a "right" lean) is a "liar" a "Socialist" or they're favorite... a "Lib$#*!" "spewing "fake news" and suffering from "TDS" (Trump Derangement Syndrome).

I joined the forum in 2005, stopped visiting for almost 12 years then decided to check it out again only to find that it had gone from bad to horrific. So if you are a rational human being avoid this site at all costs. If you are a rightwing extremist looking for an orgy of sadism and the regular internet porn isn't doing it for you anymore be my guest.

The site is full of loudmouths that incessantly repeat talking points from MSM. There is no debate. The mods are viscous and petty. Don't donate unless that's the way you roll.

I joined yesterday and not 24 hrs later I get a message saying I am banned due to multiple accounts. I only have that one account. Strange

The rules for this site seem to have been written by little boys starting their first "No Gurls Aloud" club. They start off with some high minded comments about freedom of speech and quickly devolve into rule #4 "Don't be a Jerk". It's downhill after that with incomplete sentences, contradictory instructions, impossible demands and rule #6a designed to get people to post complaints in what they call the Basement where moderators very childishly bully, name call and suspend anyone that asks questions about the sites' very strange rules.
My favorite rule? #7. "English - All threads will be in the English language. Threads and posts which are not in English may be edited or deleted at the discretion of a Moderator. Please include translations with any posts that are not in English."
The rules page ends with something written in Hebrew and something written in Cyrillic, neither translated. Moderators don't observe the "Don't be a Jerk" rule either.

Well, today is the day that I've been banned from Debatepolitics, and the reason was that I stood my ground against a moderation team, that was actively working against me.
I've been on the site for some years now, and I can tell you that what I originally heard of the them was mostly true. Even though I did not want to believe it, and I was particularly starved for this sort of discussion.
The admins are split into two groups. One does their jobs, and the other does not, while also abusing what power that they collectively possess.
They routinely change the rules to suit their own opinon at the moment, and are not above breaking them of their own free will, even going so far as to make personal/racist attacks on anyone who doesn't' agree with them.
You will not be treated fairly, especially if you do not agree with their own form of political opinion, and you will easily see that they allow other posters that they favor, to break the rules. While you will be punished the very moment that they deem you to have stepped out of line.

I will also give you a direct warning about the Administrator RedAkston, is possibly one of the largest offenders in this case. He will play at being your friend in the beginning, but he will fall back into deriding you and punishing you if you so much as question a moderator's actions. Even if you can directly prove that the moderator is lying, or if they've broken the rules. He will simply claim that you're lying to him and threaten you will further punishment, if you attempt to speak up on the issue further.
He continually uplifts those who break the rules, to the position of moderator, and removes those who fall out of favor. It's his actions that I believe have caused the site to fall as far as it has.

There is a part of me which is sad to say goodbye to this site, after helping it to grow for the last two years. But I'm also happy to see that I no longer have to deal with such a group of racist bigots, who actively belittle those around them, for their own selfish reasons. Funny enough, practically none of them are right-wing. They're all either self proclaimed liberals, or communist.
Which was another aspect that other reviews had warned me about as well.

Interestingly enough. The moderator who ended up getting me banned, was a new moderator, and one that RedAkston uplifted himself. He'd cited me for breaking site rules, and directly lied to me on that issue. Which I called him out on, and required moderation on working to have the penalty removed. While also pointing out how he'd directly lied in his ruling.
His name is Jetboogieman, and he's probably one of the largest offenders of the sites rules to have been on the site in a long time. He's actively targeted posters due to their race and repeatedly broke site rules, for days at a time.

This just goes to show you the kind of people that RedAkston is willing to allow into power.

I was banned and told, I would be reinstated on December 16,2023. That was a lie. The site is full of liars. STAY AWAY FROM THE LIARS!

This is the most one-sided forum around if you're anti-Trump. The mods will sanction you quickly, ban you for days and ignore your reports of Trump supporters insulting and berating you. All the mods except for 'Helix' are pro-Trump and don't like it when you trash him, They treat anyone against Trump with total disrespect and will concoct a reason to ban you. Freedom of speech does not exist on Debate Politics Forum. You have no way to dispute or reach management on this site. It's totally one-sided. Stay away, it's toxic. 'Note Bene' and 'RedAskin' are two mods who will watch your every move.

Don't even bother wasting any time on this site, unless you are a Trump Supporter! The so-called Conservative Monitors will infraction-you-to-death! There are forum rules- but because of the obvious double standard, I'm totally convinced they only apply to liberal posters and others who do not support Donald Trump's policies and actions. DebatePolitics.com is a white nationalist and white segregationist forum to the extreme, but insidiously so. It is the new Stormfront and exists solely to preserve and protect white American culture.

I was on the forum for over 10 years and the only person of color of a different ethnic background that dared post about other than popular current white cultural values. For this I was constantly harassed and stalked by forum staff and their trolls. Anyone could ignore any and all rules including attacking my children and family because they are mixed race and also because I have LGBT family members.

This was not done by a single staff member, but the entire staff supervised and lead by the forum owner himself, a white man in white-suburban-flight Plano, Texas who is currently using the ID of "Schweddy." However, the forum is more run by an ancient old racist white woman in California using the ID of "DiAnna." She is pure racist, homophobic and xenophobic to her bones - as are nearly all the staff.

When a white racist poster attacked my children and family in private messages, it was learned I have a black wife. The most racist moderator DIAnna went berserk when informed this, demanding I divulge that I am in a mixed race marriage, have mixed race children and there are people in my family of different (including non-white) cultural background and have family members who are LGBT. She demanded I divulge my private message to the full forum staff, supervised by the owner.

The owner, the administrators and moderators made no secret to me - but only in private messages - that the forum is ONLY for people of white cultural origins and only to discuss white cultural values. Forum staff, with the owner overseeing it, stated that my having a black wife and mixed race children, plus LGBT family members is "extremely disturbing" and "just not right."

I was permanently banned because I mixed race children, was married to a black woman, and there are LGBT members of my extended/blended family. The attacking white poster was given full immunity for all rules to attack my children, my wife, my ex wife, and myself, to post my private messages on the forum, and overall more violations than were double what would cause a permanent ban.

This forum is nothing but white supremacist KKKish click bait. Even staff members have quit the forum for how extremely, but covertly, racist and bigoted debatepolitics.com truly is. The staff leads trolls to stalk, ridicule and endlessly attack and bait anyone posting outside of a low-class version of American white cultural values - and then ultimately celebrate running off the next person of color or anyone of any different race, ethnicity or sexual orientation in an area they call the "Basement." To make "undesirable" posters (meaning not white and not of their white values and background) seem like liars and ridiculous, the staff will edit your messages if they don't like you - meaning not acting white enough - with no indication you didn't write the message. There is no level corruption the racist staff and owner of the forum will not employ. The forum rules are irrelevant to anything other than however any staff member wants to use or ignore or make up non-existent rules.

The staff members themselves do post about their lives and they are truly losers in life. A bunch of nobodies who get to be KKKers hiding behind IDs in a sense of finally having some power in their old age after a lifetime of failure. Failed relationships. Failed economically. Failed as parents. Basically, the forum is run by old white losers whose only claim to worth is their whiteness, which is then their superiority.
Statistically, over 90% of people who join the forum quit or are banned.

Be VERY careful of joining or being associated with this white nationalist KKKish Stormfront forum - as doing so is the same as joining a Chapter of the KKK. This could come back to bite you in the $#*! as this forum has come under a spotlight by numerous civil rights organizations and activists. In the past they publicly exposed the real identity of members of white supremacist forums like this one in the past. You may not want a permanent heritage online as a white racist as your legacy.

Do not invest time on this forum. There is a small inner circle of white segregationists and xenophobes that runs the forum and nearly everyone else ultimately is banned or leaves in disgust. In existence for over a decade and a half, less than 300 people every participate on the forum in a month. Rather, it is the same inner circle of loser white people year after years whose real game is to mess with new people and anyone different from their almost bizarre view of even decent white cultural values. They often pretend to be liberal or progressive, but really it is all just a game for their race-click bait game.

This site is a joke. The moderators are 100% pro-Trump. I'm sure they have a good number of Russian trolls as well. If a moderator, say...'nota bene' for example doesn't like your comment, no matter how strictly you've adhered to their rule, she/he will find something inside your post that she'll give you an infraction for. I've argued my multiple infractions with her asking it to be bumped up to more senior moderators. It's impossible for find out exactly who runs this site, but usually she'll give me some name and I'll wait for their decision for days and it always sides with 'nota bene'. The Trump loyalists can run rampant projecting lies without substantiation and that's okay with the mods, but let a liberal or any democrat disagree and take them to task asking for links or facts and it just falls through the cracks.

If you like feeling overwhelmed by Trump's base and overruled by unfair, alt-right conservative mods, this is the place for you. If you want an honest debate without insults, find someplace else. 'Political Forum.com' has less heavy-handed moderation and more freedom to challenge the lies of Trumpers.

Unless you're going along with the Crowd, you'll not last on this Forum. Since the Trump Election, The Ault-Right has the ear and access of Forum Moderator. If you're a Left Leaning Member, better not make them Mad, or they'll get their friends in the ever changing Moderator Pool to start racking up the points against you. If you want to really Debate, find a place that allows different points of view.

The site is rigorously patrolled and maintained by mentally ill death cultists who ban anybody who can pose an argument they can't counter without breaking their own *civility* rules. They banned me forever, of course. They have some of the worst trolls from usmessageboard, this seems to be a site for trolls to roll. Avoid it. They're creepy.

Several of the Mods have turned debatepolitics into a creepy, overly- and unevenly and unfairly moderated forum. They include Kal'Stang, Nota Bene, and Captain Courtesy, who act politely but certainly punish philosophies they don't like. They permit privileges in baiting, flaming, and trolling to pet posters while smashing the same actions of others they simply don't like. They deliberately misdefine "ad hom" and use it to give infractions and bannings.

Still, once the wise and sly poster realizes the game is rigged, that poster can use the system against the Mods and do pretty much whatever he or she wants. I have been under this name, and they are searching for the others.

The Debate Politics Forum keeps going around in its well known and predictable circles, spinning its wheels interminably, this time busting a notorious and unsuitable Mod, Red Akston who several of we former members have exposed here, but replacing him with yet another sleazy and dishonest DP authority, DiAnna who has already been mentioned here too.

Here's what the DP rightwing owner who goes by the username Schweddy said in trying to make a soft and gentle explosion of this big bomb announcement:

"It's with regret to say *******@RedAkston is stepping down as a mod. To be clear, he will not issue warnings or work in a mod capacity going forward. In the event the mod team needs temp help, he as [sic] agreed to step in and we appreciate his willingness to do so."

Blah blah in the last sentence of course, not to mention the Debate Politics Forum needing a literate owner who is attentive to his work product.

Red Akston being busted from busting DP members comes two months after Akston banned me as I was in my 7th consecutive year as a regular at DP, to include most prominently my military expertise that also included a smash hit Military Cadet thread I began in 2018 and that, as of Red Akston banning me several months ago, had more than 41,000 views and more than 500 video posts by me that DP readers viewed regularly -- members and visitors alike.

I've already posted about Red Akston banning me under completely false and dishonest pretenses. And I've also posted that the new Mod DiAnna posted several times over the years that she hates my posts, and hates reading them. Indeed, DiAnna is aligned openly and admittedly with a shallow rightwing poster who stalked me from the time I joined DP, with their purpose that I "GTFO" of DP. Failing at that over the years, their guy Red Akston stepped in shamelessly to ban me under dishonest and concocted pretenses.

So Red Akston getting the boot from moderating only to be succeeded by DiAnna is a less than zero improvement for the Debate Politics Forum where Trump fascists spewing their hate and lies rule.

So while Red Akston stays on at DP as Admin and for his woeful technical fakery -- to include his trying unsuccessfully to technically sabotage my Military Cadet thread -- Akston has now been stripped of his authority to suspend or ban members, or to take any action against posters. DiAnna does however get this new authority so the end result is no change at this "dangerous" website that also has accurately been called "creepy" and "hateful" by other reviewers here.

I have been a member of debatepolitics.com for 4 years. I have written ******* posts (many, many OP's) and have a total of 7,771 likes. I am classified as an independent but the reality is that I am not all that political. I don't follow political dogmas, I follow common sense, justice, data, facts and truths, whichever side offers them. I do follow rules and when, for some erroneous thinking on "my part", I have done something against the rules, I have accepted the punishment for the action. Having said that, there have been quite a few instances where I was punished on that board unfairly and mainly because of my statements about the extreme right views that I am critical of. The management has mainly (if not all) people that are members of the right that monitor all posts and they have used that bias to punish me incorrectly. The most recent 3-day suspension was because I was accusing a Conservative of not using facts and data to make value his points. I stated that I thought he was a Pedophile and a Cannibal and asked him if my words had any power without proof being given. I submitted a "meme" cartoon of a Cannibal (funny and not visually impacting) and was suspended for violating the rules on submitting "graphic content" improperly. In the wording of the suspension the words "absurd, egregious, and hard-nosed" were used by the monitoring person. Such words are opinions and have nothing to do with the rules. I believe this site is not what it says it is, which is a non-biased site where free speech can be exercised without being criticized for being on the opposite side of what the management wants..
