“Good honest drop shipping outfit”

Dustyn H.
11/29/21

I had a very good buying experience with Deals All Year. If you haven't dealt with a drop-shipping company before, don't expect the "Amazon Experience". If you want Amazon, go shop on Amazon. If you want deep discounts on drop-shipped gear, these guys will take good care of you! Most other sellers in this segment will "bait and switch", but not Deals All Year. What you see is what you get! Would recommend!

“Incredibly Unprofessional!”

Lindy B.
9/30/20

My lens came a MONTH LATE and I didn't get an explanation what-so-ever. Google (who I bought it through) apologized and immediately gave me a refund. THE NEXT DAY it shows up on my doorstep with a call from Kevin saying "yeah we had some trouble but you'll get your lens" (duh, I'm looking at it!). Well by now I had paid $500 MORE for a lens from another store because I needed it for a photo shoot. I tell Google (because I have no email from DealsAllYear to contact them) I received it AND got a refund, offering to ship it back but they told me to donate/dispose of it as I saw fit, saying "Think of it as a gift from Google". I was shocked but assumed Google would take the financial hit for this mistake, not DealsAllYear. A MONTH after I had ALREADY TRIED TO give it back, I start getting harassing and THREATENING calls, texts, emails from Kevin and someone else ever since saying they are a "small business, impacted from Covid" and this "high dollar" lens will effect them. Their calls are threatening, manipulative, sneaky and absolutely disgusting. I have told everyone I know about this. DealsAllYear will not get my business again.

Tip for consumers:
This is not Amazon, so don't expect the Amazon experience. This is also NOT a bait-and-switch outfit, they are an honest drop-shipping company

I went to Deals all Year to find a battery pack and charger for an older Canon power shot camera. I wanted to give it to my grandson to take on a trip to St Thomas. He was leaving the next morning! The two men that worked there couldnt be more accomodating. They both loooked through their storage to try to locate the right one. They eventually found it and helped me install it. They couldnt have been any nicer or more professional. I will definitely give them all of my photo business in the future. Great store and great guys!

Coming far away from South East Asia, one more hour driving from NYC, I found DealsAllYear is an excellent, second-to-none US camera store. Got my new, latest Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8E VR with unbeatable price recently. Much important, you'll meet/can rely on its real professional teams, with hospitable Manager Kevin K. Strongly recommended five-start Seller.

Steven was great. Very personable with a sense of humor. He was genuinely interested in making things work as he persevered three unsuccessful delivery attempts due to our friends at the shipping store. He delivered a great camera at almost half off what they sell for. It came with a five year MAC warranty. The camera was packed well, and works splendidly. It outresolves a number of my lenses, and he even had a solution for that, but I'll need to save for that. I will consider Steven first next time, and recommend you try him.

Deals All Year (brick and mortar) and Global Camera USA (Amazon) share the same physical address. 445 NJ-23, Pompton Plains, NJ *******. My purchase was from their Amazon entity. I also took note of a post on Canon Price Watch that stated this business is the former Ryther Camera in NJ. Ryther Camera was a well know "Bait and Switch" camera retailer according to what my research revealed.

I purchased a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L is II USM Lens - 9524B002 (Renewed) from them going through Amazon for $2,347.57 which included sales tax. The lens is covered by the Amazon 90 return policy. They promptly shipped the lens. I received the lens during the first week of Nov 2021. It was nicely packed. Once received I looked it over for any physical damage. None noted. Placed the lens on the shelf to be used at a later date. Had no rush to check lens, due to the 90 day return policy.

A short time later I ran some focusing test with a commercial lens testing software using a focusing chart. The auto-focus seemed defective. I then photographed some rapidly moving objects at a high shutter speed using 2 different Canon bodies. Confirmed, auto-focus is not quite correct. Also noted an intermittent clicking noise when the lens was attempting to focus. No problem. I'll just return it under the Amazon 90 Day return policy for full refund. Applied for a return shipping label via Amazon. Received. I returned the lens on December 09 2021. Had the lens in my possession for 5 weeks and never used it, outside of the 2 test I performed.

As a rule, especially when returning such an expensive item, I take many photographs of the item being returned prior to being re-packed for return shipment. This case was no different. I took in excess of 15 full resolution photographs of this lens, from multiple angles, from approx 18 inches, just minutes before re-packing. This lens did not have any cosmetic issues of any kind. However it does have an internal auto-focusing issues. Re-packed the lens, and dropped if off at my local UPS Store.

A few days later I received an Amazon notification that I had a refund for the lens. Checked my account and noted that I was being charge a fee of $438.80. I immediately contacted the seller and inquired what was going on. Someone there using the name Fred b, claimed the lens had ‘marks' on it and needed to be repaired. This is when I began to think this was a SCAM in the making. I immediately once again contacted Amazon CS and had them to request a photo of this alleged ‘mark' upon this lens be sent to me. Once I received this photograph, and knowing that this ‘mark' was not on this lens as I recall, I then knew where this was going. In my opinion I was being setup for a SCAM. I was out of town and let the seller know that I too had taken photographs of the lens just minutes before return shipping, and once I was back home I would compare my photographs to theirs.

Once back home I compared the single low resolution photograph that was sent to me by Fred b, to my 15+ high resolution photographs. This ‘mark' was not on this lens when I returned it. I sent Fred b 3 of the 15 photographs I had taken. Fred b had no idea I had more images, and I was going see if Fred b would dig himself into a hole. He did. Fred b replied back that my photographs were from far away, and at a different angle. Once he said this, I had no doubt they were attempting to SCAM me out of $438.00.

I immediately contacted Amazon CS and offered the remaining photographs of this lens that I had taken, that clearly indicated there we NO ‘marks' of any kind upon this lens, anywhere! One of the Amazon CS that I had spoken with verified this fact, and opened a A to Z claim against the seller. Once Amazon looked at the email exchanges between the seller and myself, plus the photographic evidence I provided, I was promptly issued a refund for the $438.80 fee this seller was attempting to charge me. This seller is now falsely claiming I had the lens in my possession for 2 months on the Amazon Seller Feedback site. Again, another false statement by the seller. It would be wise for this seller to cease digging that hole, by posting false information concerning this ordeal. The prudent thing to do when one finds themselves in a hole, is to quit digging. The issue is now between Amazon and Deals All Year / Global Camera USA, as I am finally rid of this unethical seller.

Keep in mind, Amazon was great during this ordeal. HOWEVER, Buyer beware of Deals All Year (brick and mortar) and Global Camera USA (Amazon)

I get to know this store about more than 2 years so far and I bought may be 6 or more cameras from them (and lenses). They give you the best item with best price that you don't have to go look from somewhere else. The customer service beyond expectation. Kevin is my buddy with the shopping process. He always call after the purchase to make sure everything is good and even he ship fastest way and give you great discounts. I never had any issue with them and not expecting any. I hope all businesses follow their foot step. Thanks Deals All Year and Kevin.

SCAM WARNING! These GOOD reviews are all FAKE! NO email confirmation is sent after purchase. Though the item had a logo next to it saying, "in stock and ready to ship", you get a phone call telling you shipping takes 3 weeks from over seas unless you pay $86 more for expedite, and the warranty is only 1 month unless you pay extra. Then when you say you want to cancel, Steve will yell, "I KNEW YOU WAS GUNNA DO DAT!, I KNEW YOU WAS GUNNA DO DAT!"

Customer purchased a camera and expected to get it in one day without paying for expedited shipping.
We ship from multiple warehouses throughout the United States, customer assumed we were shipping from New Jersey and claimed free shipment would only take one day.
When we told the customer the price of overnight shipping the customer was very livid and we agreed to cancel the order with no issue. Our good reviews are not fake nor fabricated. We appreciate all of our customers that acknowledge great service and customer satisfaction. Thomas, we still wish to speak with you and possibly work with you one day in the future.

Thank you

I would stay away... FAR AWAY from this company. I gave them a chance, and they failed miserably.

I purchased a Canon 5D Mark IV camera from them through eBay. I received an email saying that my shipment what is on its way only to receive a phone call a day later from the salesperson, Steven.

He told me that the camera I purchased was an "import model" and was highly suggested that I pay $300 more to get the "US model". He was fast talking and aggressive (bear in mind that by making the switch, the sale was then removed from eBay, thus putting them in a position where you could not review the kind of service they gave you that would ultimately change their rating.

Instead of going with my gut on this, I agreed to give Steven a chance and told him so.
I was told my camera would be delivered to me the following Tuesday.
On Wednesday when I still hadn't received it, I called only to find out that it hadn't shipped yet. At this point, I was speaking with Kevin, who has an accent. He treated me with an attitude like I had done something wrong because I was questioning why my camera has not been delivered on Tuesday as promised. I was going to cancel the order and then he said I'll have it over-nighted to you by tomorrow.
All along with a terrible attitude. Again, I should have gone with my gut But I didn't. Shame on me.

I received the camera the following day as promised.

I used the camera a couple of times and all seemed ok.
Then, I did a lengthy photo shoot eight days after I had received the camera.
At this point, this must have been just enough shutter actuations (clicks) to show the factory defect. -(I had gotten a Camera from another company prior to this which had a factory defect -verified by Canon- so as soon as I saw it in editing I knew I had a problem).

The other company, -who by the way Steven trashed their reputation during our conversation when he was trying to upgrade me to the US model, (again go with your gut -no ethical businessman puts down another company)... At any rate, when I sent a photograph to this other company via e-mail showing them the problem, they immediately said that it was a factory defect and sent me a label to return the camera. NO questions asked.

When I contacted Deals All Year about the problem I was having-- (I had to call them because they set it up that way forcing you to make contact with them to get something called an RMA number to be able to return). They do this to try and bully you to save their shady deal.
During this conversation, it was with Kevin again, I told him that I needed to get the RMA number to return the camera, but I wouldn't be doing so until the end of the week because I had a death in my family.

He immediately told me that I'd had the camera for too long a time and I need to return the camera now.--Mind you... this was day 10... I had 30 days to return my camera for any reason... let alone a factory defect.
Never once did he acknowledge the fact that I've said I've had a death in my family and was going out of town. He couldn't have cared less. He then told ME to return it -meaning I should pay for the return postage. I questioned that practice due to the fact that I was returning something with a factory defect, but since I was rushing because I had to leave to go out of town, I decided not to argue at this point & just go and pay UPS to return the camera. -He also implied that I would have to wait a week or more to get my refund. Making comments like the camera had to be checked over for tripod scratches or any damage that I may have caused to qualify for a refund.- Mind you, this is a factory defective product -that he sold me- that we are talking about here. The refund should have been 100% unconditional.

When I got to UPS I was told with insurance it was going to cost $60. Since it was so costly, I called PayPal to verify that I would be reimbursed through the return postage plan that they have. When I outlined the situation they told me that I should call the company back and request a label since this was being returned due to a defect.

I called back, again speaking with Kevin, and told him that I had been told to ask for a label from PayPal.

Well, when he heard that I had contacted PayPal this guy went NUTS. He was screaming, telling me I was trying to cause trouble, and acting as though I had done something wrong. It was so obvious that they had something to hide and didn't want to be "red-lighted" to PayPal. I told him I've never been treated this way by anyone I've ever done business with & with that he tried to turn his insane behavior around on me saying that "I like to argue".

At this point I was so stunned I put my telephone on speaker so that two clients in my office could witness what this man was doing. He was berating me for having the audacity to expect a label to return my factory defected purchase. Then, started going crazy saying "Oh sure, now you're going to buy a camera from someone else!." I told him that I had no idea what my plans were yet. Then he began implying that it could be a software issue with MY computer, not the camera & started going on and on about how much money this transaction had cost him already. Again I stated on three occasions during this conversation that I could not believe the way he was treating me and that I've never been treated like this before.

This guy was being called on his poor business practices and couldn't handle it. His lack of self-control was startling. In the end, he agreed to send a label but again was implying how much time all of this was going to take.

I hung up from this conversation completely stunned and shaken.

Next thing I know I am receiving a sugary sweet email & text from Kevin about the label and saying that he would put a rush on my refund when it got there.

Right then---I knew the game. He would literally berate & abuse me on the phone... but then act as though he/they are professional & amenable when it would be IN WRITING so he could prove if need be he was doing the right thing.

I was livid when I witnessed such brazen unethical behavior.

When my camera got there, a day later I texted & emailed stating that I had been notified by UPS that they had received my return the day before, & that I had been told via text that my refund would be expedited. I left no stone unturned. I knew that they were trapped by their own words so they had no choice but to comply.
Within minutes after my email- through PayPal- and a follow up text, I had my refund--because again it was now 'in writing' what they had promised AND PayPal would be able to see all of this.

I will tell you this. I believe with 100% certainty that they are finagling someway to keep that rating on eBay. In my opinion, there can NO way all of the people that deal with them are walking away as thrilled customers. They are slick characters, & I'm not buying it. -Not after the kind of outrageous behavior, I and two other people at my office witnessed. No one is going to tell me that that guy who flew off the handle like some kind of a crazed animal on the phone with me, has not... does not... do that -or some other terrible practice to others.

I surmise that many people are talked out of the eBay purchase like I was, and then do a direct buy with them either via credit card or PayPal so that they cannot report their behavior to eBay (hence lowering the rating that both Steven & Keven brought up at some point BOASTING about). At least I knew I had protection from PayPal if nothing else.

Think long and hard before allowing yourself to be sucked in by these two thieves. They are NOT on the up and up, & obviously looking to scam as many innocent victims as possible. There are enough "truly reputable" sellers on eBay who have 'honestly' earned their rating to work with.

I would run, not walk, away from this company as fast as you can!

We live by the motto the customer is always right. In this instance, this customer previously purchased a camera from another company, claimed it was defective and returned it. The customer then purchased from our company, two weeks after the camera was received we were contacted saying the camera was defective with the same issue they had with previous purchase from the other company. After troubleshooting, we explained to the customer there has to be something wrong with the software they are using. The customer did not want to listen, we were bombarded with demands and distasteful attitude. We tried to explain there is a process with returns, with defective items we offer free exchanges at no charge with a free shipping label. The customer claimed they did not want an exchange, and wanted to return the camera which means the customer pays for the return shipping. The customer claimed it was too much money to pay for shipping to return the camera and threatened to do a PayPal chargeback on the transaction while they still had the merchandise in their possession. After conversing with the customer (which was not easy), we decided to cut our losses and give the customer a free return label which cost $60, and a loss on the $149 overnight original shipping label to get the camera to the customer. When we received the camera back it was not in good condition, we can no longer sell this camera as brand new with a shutter count and obvious use. We are now going to have to sell this non-defective camera as used which is another $500 loss. In the end we took a $710 loss to please this customer, we gave the customer a courtesy text and email when we received the package back and refunded them in the full amount. In the end we sell a lot of 5D Mark IV's daily, this is a very rare instance that has never happened to us before -- this was a problem sale from day one. If you read the book this customer tried to publish you can see that it doesn't make sense, if you read between the lines we tried to help the customer and we were still being talked down too. It seems this customer is used to talking down to people and from our end we refused to be belittled. The customer has now taken a personal vendetta against our company. The one thing that bothers our company with this review is the fact that Kevin and Steve work extremely hard with every customer they deal with daily, our reviews can attest to this statement, they are not made up, nor fake. If anyone else has ever had an issue with our company like this we would definitely like to hear from you. In the end we know who we are as a company and we are no way shape or form anything close to what this customer has described. We will continue to give the best service and offer the best price on the internet. We want to thank all our previous customers that purchased from us and appreciate what we do over here, we urge you to call us today and see what the difference is between us and the other companies out there.

Thank You & Happy Holidays

I decided to try ordering from Deaslallyear because of so many high rated reviews across the Internet. I purchased 5d mark IV on Ebay from Dealsallyear and could not wait to receive it. But in two days their supervisor contacted me and suggested to purchase another version camera with US warranty for a higher price. I said that I do not need a camera with US warranty and am satisfied with the 1 year warranty provided by the seller. However, he insisted that the cameras are not identical and this version has no GPS and has limited video recording. I was disappointed because I should have already received it and been able to use it but no luck. On Ebay, they described that this is an identical model but without US warranty, so, after that, I decided to ask a question through Ebay contact system, and they refused, and said that I MISSUNDERSTOOD, and that they did not tell me that the cameras were not identical. Luckily, I have a call recorder on my android, so, I listened to our conversation twice, and I could clearly hear that they did mention those differences. When I told them about call recorder they apologized, and now, they said that I was MISSINFORMED... They stated that I can purchase it with confidence and when I agreed to finally buy it, they again contacted me by PHONE and offered a little discount for US model urging me to pay more for "another version" because this one is not as good as another... They did not want to explain things clearly by Ebay contact system and insisted on contacting me by phone to explain their concerns, and they, actually, did call me several times... In the very end I requested an order cancellation... Beware!

Like the store name suggest, Deals All Year is the store where you can find deals all year long and the customer service they offer is amazing. Whenever I visit the store to get my camera gear I was treated like a friend and family member and Kevin, Steven and others take good care of me getting me what I came to purchase for an amazing price. I enjoy taking videos for my YouTube channel and I always go to Deals All Year store to get all my camera gears.

No one can beat their price and yes they have physical presence in NJ and not just an online store trying to get you in to the door with low price and then say that you need to order different camera with full price if you want to get your money back. I personally had such experience with other online stores that offered low price where they will have in fine print that battery and charger is not included for the price and you will not realize it until you already paid and they call you and ask you to pay full price. Deals All Year is completely genuine and they list all the items in the box and exactly tell you what exactly are you going to receive.

I would give Deals all year a 5 star A+ rating for their product selection, customer service and above all amazing stellar price they offer. If you want to get a camera gear for a great price, I highly recommend you to check out their store online or the store in Pequannock, NJ.

This is going to be a lengthy, honest, unpaid, legit review of my experience with Deals all year buying a Canon 5D Mark 4, so please read all of it! It all started when I ordered this camera through amazon via a third party seller. I was going out of the country and needed it here by the weekend. Amazon shipped it with UPS and it was going to arrive on time, but the UPS near me is full of idiots and the camera got delayed, at which point i canceled the order, on a FRIDAY. After this I frantically looked on Amazon for a new seller which could get it to me FAST. Sadly, no one had 1 day shipping, so I took to google and found deals all year. I really didn't trust them, BUT remembered seeing them on Amazon as a seller, so I thought whatever, maybe they are legit. I put a 5d on my shopping cart and proceeded to checkout just to see the shipping options, and saw that they had rush overnight shipping. This was perfect, but they didn't generate an estimated delivery date so I just backed out of the purchase and lost all hope. Fast forward an hour and I receive an email that says "Hi, We are Deals All Year Camera and Photography. We seeing that you were trying to place an order on our website, but for reason the order stop it. Did you have ay issues placing the order or something went wrong? Please let us know to help you. Best, Ricardo Zaragosin" Notice the bad spelling. That worried me, but i sent them an email simply saying that I needed it here by Monday and was unsure of the shipping time so I didn't order. They emailed me back asking me to call them since they can do it for me on time. I thought ok, lets try this out. I call, and a man with an accent called Kevin answers. I had read about him in other reviews and knew who I was speaking with already. We talked about shipping times, products, and who they were. They are located in New Jersey, and Kevin explained to me that Amazon works 2 day shipping prices into their final price, which is why the camera would still cost the same rush shipped through them vs normal Prime delivery times bought through Amazon. After a bit of talking and price quoting he then made me some other offers on carrying cases, extra batteries, straps, and product protection warranties etc. I kindly refused and said just the camera would be fine, only if it comes on time. He guaranteed that it would and then I said ok. I also asked about return and stuff, and they said they charge a restocking fee based on shutter count and time owned. But if its a defect, they can replace it for something else. I dont think they like to give you money back, but would rather give you a new product. A few minutes later a PayPal invoice comes through to my email. It stated everything that would be coming, and in the notes it said, saturday deliviry. Delivery was misspelled so that worried me too, but I paid it and didn't look back. Forward to the next morning, the morning which the camera is supposed to arrive from New Jersey to Florida, in a day, after being bought late the day before. I said to myself, i am surely not receiving this camera. I was stressing so much, reading all the good and bad reviews, it was bad, really bad. I finally called Kevin back, on a Saturday morning mind you, and he picks up, talks with me some, calms me down and sends me a photo of my tracking number. Sure enough, the camera came at 11:30 am. Heres where it gets interesting. The camera was listed as an import model, but the Cam came like perfect. I mean perfect. The box, and every little addon were legit canon products, not gray market or aftermarket things. Even the camera had a legit serial at the bottom. The only thing that might have been aftermarket was the battery charger but I am not sure tbh. The camera was brand new, unused, unopened, 0 shutter count. I truly cant be happier. Finally, Kevin asked me to write a review for him on 4 separate links. He of course asked me nicely and sugar talked me, but he did not say to make the review nice or to fake anything. I see why they have so many reviews now, because they ask the customer to write them. So, heres the final verdict. They are very legit, have legit products for excellent prices, but their methods will 100 percent strike any normal consumer as shady or unprofessional, IE they didn't send me a tracking #, but I called and Kevin texted me it which was funny yet comforting to have his number in my pocket. Not every business can have a whole customer service department or a big enough budget to deal with all the **** that happens, or have the time to be super professional when it comes to customer relations. This is a small business no doubt. My experience was scary at first, but I stuck through it and got an incredible deal. So, my new "Import Model/Gray Market" 5D has no issues, cost me $2200 overnighted and I got mostly original canon equipment save for the battery charger. Gotta give it to them, they delivered! Thanks Kevin. GL with your orders guys. Attached pic of yorki with 5D and 70-200mm lens
