Dx.com is a wonderful site to pick up bits and bobs, gadgets for the kitchen, parts for pcs, mobiles, usb keys etc The smart phones are cheap and worth a look at, some last a year (we got one for 40 euros) some up to three years and is still going (that one cost 98 euros)! Free postage, good customer service and a wide range of goods. Just remember that you get what you pay for most of the time, read the reviews that people have left. Never had any trouble with refunds or items not arriving. Well worth a look at!

I ordered gas struts fir a tanning bed. They took forever to arrive and had already gotten some when the finally came. They told me how to send them back for a refund. They received them back on June 10th. Today I get an email stating that they had only gave me back the tax of $2.80 on an over $50 order and charged the rest as a restocking fee! I would have just kept them if they would have told me this upfront and sold them myself to get the money back. Terrible wah to do business!

That I would have gotten only the taxes back and charged a restocking fee that happened to be the exact fee as the product.

While DX.com used to be a great site for deals, their customer service and website have taken a nose dive. It's still may be possible to get great deals on good products through DX.com, but if something is wrong with your order and you try to get an exchange or refund, you'll encounter bug after bug and nothing but silence or stonewalling from DX.com. The site will also publishes fake reviews under your account.

I received my 2 orders and both contained the wrong goods Not at all what I ordered. I have been emailing every email and reply possibility on the DX website over a period of weeks Even flooded them with 30 emails in one day and I never got any response to my request for a return address to send the wrong goods back.
I can see that others call them NOTING BUT THIEFS and that describes them pretty well.

Looks like it's just landed in my country. Contacted customer support after 10 days took then another 5 to get back to me. Telling me to 'wait' we'll no that's not good enough especially when I could've opted for standard shipping and got it for free but paid 20% more because I needed it quickly. Absolute bull$#*! and have requested a refund for shipping. Because if I get the item great but pissed to pay more for shipping I didn't get

I bought quite a few products from this website and was not unhappy until I had to deal with aftersale.
Last item I bought was supposed to be a SSD drive and turned out to be a HDD once delivered. I complained about it and aftersale just made me crazy. I never got any sensible answer and off course never got any money back.
Worse, they changed my very bad comment on the product to 5 star. I know it since there was only 2 (very similar) comments on the item, among which one with the flag of the small island where I live.

Promises delivery within 7 days and collects a lot of money. After that, neither the goods nor an answer arrived. I ordered the goods one month before my daughter's birthday and one month later the goods are still not here. Launched a conflict resolution via Paypal and now DX is giving an invalid tracking number. I'm afraid Paypal will not react. I will never order anything from Dealextreme again. That's just scams.

Received the expensive but faulty earpods. From somewhere in Hong Kong apparently, after paying for quick delivery. They arrived 2 weeks later.
Tried contacting them several times but no reply.
They seem to operate on the basis that ignoring unhappy customers will make them go away eventually.
Avoid and go elsewhere, even if you must pay a bit more at least you get what you pay for.

Dear SiteJabbers,

I ordered an iPhone 6s from them and after a couple of weeks it was finally shipped and then it took forever to come and once I received the package, there was no iPhone inside! They didn't even send me the iPhone I ordered! Instead, there was one iPhone 11 Pro case and one iPhone 11 Pro screen protector inside! Absolutely, horrible.
And after weeks of fighting with them, they never gave me the refund!

Seriously, do NOT waste your money on this website. You WILL regret it.

I bought some items that turned out to be improper for technical reason. Asked to exchange them for the proper once that as per website available. No response to my 7 messages sent in two weeks with request of exchange.
Not return, just simply exchange where cost of return are covered by the buyer. Zero stars for customer service.

I love international sellers such as DH gate and feel buying. This lot are crooks and giving decent companies a harder time. Various blocks to me contacting them and leaving any review for a ridiculous product

Order a drone as it was shown in stock. Took the money instantly, then after a week of no response said it was out of stock I need to wait 2 weeks, after 20 messages and on messenger, I get a response, out of stock please wait. Asked them 10 times to cancel the order, no response. Then a message, saying out of stock, nothing about cancellation. Another 5 messages sent, nothing. I don't think I've dealt with such a irresponsible, ignorant and unprofessional company in all my years. Been a month and still have no idea what's happening. Can't find a email or system to complain. I'm £400 out of pocket with no idea where, when or whatever is happening

Placed an order for a supposed in-stock item. Discovered item was out of stock I then cancelled and asked for refund. They completely ignored my request and carried on. It is now 2 months and no items have arrived and no refund, despite repeated requests by me. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS BUNCH OF THEIVES! YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DO. THEY JUST FRAUDULENT SCAMMERS.

I ordered an earphone almost two months ago from DX. Waited for that long and nothing happened. Then I started sending emails to their sales department, GMail sent the emails 4 times with no success! As their sales department don't accept the email. They want your money and that's it.

I then complained to Paypal and I finally got my money back from Paypal money back guaranty, as they did not even respond to Paypal! (see Photo Atached)
It has been a waste of time for me, so don't buy anything from these guys, you won't get anything back and you will regret it.
I would never again buy anything from Dealextreme, never again!

DX regularly fail to deliver products they have taken money for.
In two cases this has amounted to an excess of USD 100.
ALL orders the past year have failed to arrive.
Worse still, they never offer any notice or apologies or even excuses.
Good luck trying to use the various points of assistance they advertise, since you just end up going in circles.
DX are unreliable, unhelpful, untrustworthy and the closest thing to a fraud.
Don't get ripped off.
If their offers seem too good to be true, that's because that's all they are.
Smoke and mirrors folks.

I've been using dx a long time ago. They were not great but decent. Few years ago they probably sold the business to someone else because they changed completely. They are plain SCAMMERS now. Confirmed.

The only thing I wonder is how they are still in business and scamming so many people on daily basis.

And forget the customer support, you'll never get a reply. Just look at the reviews and their Facebook page and you'll have a clearer picture.

Don't even think about ordering anything. You better throw you money down the toilet, at least the suffering will last shorter.

The item took so much longer to arrive than stated and queries to their customer service go mostly ignored. The responses I did get were to request more time to respond properly, but this never happened. Opened a PayPal case when I was at 8 weeks and still waiting for the item. Deal Extreme asked me close the case before they would respond to me.

The case was still pending when the item eventually arrived (at 10 weeks), but turned out to be completely wrong. Zero response from Deal Extreme about this and PayPal issued a refund.

Do not use - if you actually get what you ask for you're lucky. This is one of the poorest buying experiences I've had - I was just thankful that it was a relatively low value item and that I used PayPal.

I ordered an item from DX.com almost 2 months ago, they processed the order and took my money in 2 minutes, it took them over a week to send an email sayiing they were preparing to ship it, took almost 2 weeks for them to say they had shipped it, and now almost 2 months later, the product has not arrived. No repsonse to emails to the seller, it is incredibly difficult to contact ANYONE at DX.com to tell them the seller is a dud. Theres another word for DX.com... Crooks!

Placed an order. Seller cancelled order. Seller did not refund and ignored all messages.
Messaged DX.com. They also ignored messages.
Opened PayPal dispute. Seller also ignored messages from PayPal. PayPal refunded.

There are hundreds of stories like this regarding DX. Scam on many review sites.

If you dare to place an order, be prepared for the nightmare that may follow.

Many people have never managed to recover their money. I am amongst the fortunate few.

I don't know if they sold the company to some scammers or they
Turned into scammers but they are not sending any products and they are
Ignoring all messages or replying the same template over and over
again.If you have been scammed, please check the Facebook page
Where we are collecting data from all scammed people to make a
Collective sue against DX and shut them down once and for all.

I bought a Mobile Phone at DX.com... it arrived 1 month later, I was excited and guess what? The phone doesn't start at all after being charging.
The rest is a nightmare, I wrote to them via they ticket system. I wanted an exchange or a refund... they don't care about the law in your country, they just ignore you and play cats and mousses. A band of thieves. I got to go to the legal way until then maybe I will see my money.
3 Months and my brand new phone is in the box with no news of DX.COM

I ordered an item that was to be delivered in 7 - 15 days, it has not arrived after 79 days I have left 8 messages for them with only unhelpful auto-replys, the Email *******@dx.com gets returned as un-deliverable, I have no way to contact them, I will not use this company again

I placed an order with DX after finding it listed really cheaply on their site but then decided to look at their reviews, I must admit I got extremely concerned that this was going to go horribly wrong in some way and regretted placing the order and even tried cancelling with my credit card company but I must say my item arrived earlier than expected, packaged reasonably well and all for a really decent price. There are clearly lots of people who have had a bad service from them but often they are the only ones who do bother to write a review. All went really well for me.

It is hard to believe that a company will actually search you out to straighten out problems with orders. It is really amazing, nowadays, that a company will take the time to follow up on claim tickets to make sure everything was straightened out and went well. And when I found out that I was the one that dropped the ball, they asked me if I would give them another chance to fix anything that went wrong. Customer service like that, reminds me of how businesses use to be run here in the USA. It is nice to see companies who actually care about their customers, and remember who pays their bills. I have not had any big problems with deal extreme. The problems I have had were primarily shipping problems, and this is primarily out of their hands. They are very thoughtful about customer service dealings, like when they run out of an item they actually contact you to see if you want to wait until the item comes back in stock, or change the order, or just drop it off your order. It is nice when a company actually steps up and does what is right and what they should do.
