Ordered 100 custom printed silicone wristbands, black with 802 green writing. The first proof they sent me did not follow any instructions or customizations, but after having some back and forth on the proof (which costs $10 extra btw even though their FAQ states free digital proofs), I was finally able to get a proof that I was content with (although it was not the original design I had selected when using their interface). I received the shipment directly from China instead of the US, despite their website claiming that they are a manufacturer based out of Houston, TX. When I began inspecting the wristbands, not a single one had been printed correctly. Every single band had one of several various printing issues. I reached out to their online chat and was told someone would contact me within 12 hours. Images can be seen on imgur: gallery/customlanyard-net-fail-pOTl2Mi
Update #1: They did reach out within 12 hours and offered 3 options: "1. A 25% refund if you can keep the order as it is. OR 2. A 40% discount on your next new order. OR 3. A free remake of the wristbands and ship it back to you within 7 business days". Now I am not sure why they would offer any option other than to remake my order when there was not a single correctly printed wristband, but I am fairly convinced that it is not in good faith. I selected option 3, obviously, and asked if the quality would be the same or better but have not received an answer.
Update #2: I did a little more digging into the company. First, they delisted their business on Google Maps for their headquarters at ******* Kensington Dr., Sugar Land, TX *******. Turns out it's actually a UPS Store and not their office. Next, they made several false claims and advertisements on their website. The company claims to be a manufacturer out of Houston, TX on their About page, but my package was delivered directly from China. They led me to believe I was buying American made products and supporting a local small business. Their website displays a Trustpilot badge of 4.9, but actually only has 3 reviews and a rating of 3.2. Additionally, the parent company, Zaappaaz LLC, has been sued by the FTC for false advertising and the case is currently pending (https://www.ftc.gov/legal-library/browse/cases-proceedings/202-3136-zaappaaz-llc). I encourage anyone else who has had an experience with them to file BBB, Trustpilot, and FTC complaints to ensure no one else is taken advantage of.
