Bought a tv from curry's and paid for set up and demonstration as an extra
Arrived and given no demonstration but told to read instructions
Couldn't get it to work properly so called the help number. Unfortunately the lady who answered didn't understand me nor I her. Had to go to curry's shop where the staff were lovely but also had issues getting any help. Arranged for a replacement tv. Delivery men didn't know how to set it up. Finally after three visits to the shop I managed to get it sorted. Never got the set up fee returned. Wrote to curry's head office and got a letter saying they would investigate and get back to me. They never did. Their shops are ok but after sales doesn't exist. Be careful what you buy.

I have repeatedly put in a complaint to currys pc world. Have a complaints number and despite 15 hours hanging on the phone being promised a manager would get back to me. Had the phone put down on me, told I've been badly treated by one person, but no one has got back to me over a month later. Went into store was insulted, humiliated and misled. Team know How said they had fixed my laptop, the Team Know How in store said it wouldn't load anything and it would be dead by Christmas. Saw the Store Manager who said if I wrote anything about this I would be done for slander, he could throw me out of store all for telling the truth and complaining. He offered me £50 for his staff putting Macafee on the laptop when I had already got it. When I said I would go down the legal route, he knew all about the law and basically he's so important as he has 5 managers under him and he knows the law. He initiated he had been a lawyer.
I am incensed and think it's about time someone in authority contacted me.
I've now e mailed the CEO of Currys. No doubt that will be ignored as well. Next stop small claims court and citizens advice. Might even contact Martin Lewis. Should be rated a zero
