I had a delightful experience with this company. I ordered Santa notepads and Gnoel round return address labels (item G1249). Shipping was prompt. Packing ensure preservation of the contents. And the quality was excellent. The Santa notepads are very nice (thank you, China). The address labels have vivid colors, clear text, and are properly centered. The address labels are also offered by their sister company, Colorful Images. I had previously ordered from Colorful Images and was quite pleased with their products. I am not including an image of the address labels due to privacy concerns.
My mother always ordered from Current and I became a loyal customer as well. I was always very pleased with the products I received. In the last 10 years or so, though, everything is about cost cutting. The products look cheap, the shipping boxes are so poorly made many products arrive damaged. The last order I placed I received a 20% off coupon. You would think that was a good offer. Not so as the "shipping and handling" cost was more than the 20% off! And they now add another $2.99 surcharge. I'll be looking for another place to buy my products from here forward. So very, very disappointed. Their reputation was stellar and now it's just despicable.
The greeting cards, wrapping paper and gift bags are great. Many of their other products are cheap and don't even work. The magnets were adorable but useless as they don't stick to anything. The throw was cute online, but when received, it is very cheap looking and ugly and it had a horrible smell to it. The book marks are very thin and not laminated... won't last long. You have to pay your own return postage to return anything and postage is very expensive these days. I had a coupon for free shipping for this order. Otherwise shipping isn't cheap either.
Tip for consumers:
I have bought a lot of greeting cards, wrapping paper and gift bags and have been happy with them. Many of their other products are cheap and either don't work or won't last long, or they look ugly once received.

I have been a customer for Current Catalog for over 30 years. This past Christmas I ordered over 144 Christmas cards imprinted with our names. The cards were about $12 a pack and Current charged over $20 shipping in addition. I was charged for the whole order yet when the cards came over a third of the order was missing (ordered 8 packs pf 18 cards and only 5 were shipped). Current shipped the missing cards but they arrived too late to use, forcing me to buy other cards to replace the missing ones I had paid for and never received. In addition, the cards I did receive contained 18 cards in a pack but only 16 envelopes so I was shorted again. The worst part is that after Christmas Current did nothing to rectify the cost of the cards I cannot use. I talked to customer service to no avail and also sent a letter with no reply. I will never order from Current Catalog again! Miriam B Loo would be ashamed of what this company has become.

UPDATE - Current Catalog did issue me a partial refund that I just saw now and I am satisfied, Thanks Current! I changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars
I placed an order in February and when the box arrived, I found the quality of the contents unacceptable... poor quality of paper on greeting cards and flimsy box to hold cards. I returned the materials at my expense and now they say they haven't received my return. I will not purchase from this company again. Please beware.
Update... customer service reps make all the difference... still no labels so I called cust serv again & discovered that Current is ending their shipping contract with DHL because of slow service. The rep checked USPS tracking for my pkg & discovered it's been delivered to my town, probably yesterday, and should be in my mailbox today. The customer service rep makes all the difference. Today's rep was polite, helpful, sympathetic and provided more info than yesterday's rep.
It has been 16 days since I ordered labels and I have still not received them! I emailed customer service 4 days ago and never heard from them. Finally had to call. Waited quite a while to talk with a rep who told me that DHL transfers pkgs to USPS in a hub (for me, NJ) and USPS is given 2 days to get it to the customer. When most retailers get packages to customers within days, Current is taking weeks! I have been a long-time customer but I will never shop at Current again. So disappointed.

If you're going to use Current--admittedly, prices are good--order WAY in advance!
