“Unprofessional”

I ordered a t-shirt for Christmas and 3 weeks later I hadn't received an email saying it had shipped. I contacted the shop and they said it takes up to a month just to PROCESS the order. Which is not at all clear on their website and no where on the ordering page or ordering confirmation email does it say that it takes a month AND they do not at all support cancellations. Don't know why any business, especially around Christmas time, would not be clear about how long it takes AND specify that your order would not be received before Christmas. Ended up disputing it through PayPal and then the owner wrote me an extremely unprofessional email, letting me know they blocked me from ever buying again and wrote, "Hope you find some kindness in your heart this holiday season." Extremely unprofessional and really poor business practices.

It is extremely disheartening to read this as the initial order was placed Dec 11, and we received a very demanding and threatening email from the buyer on Dec 23, not even two weeks later. We state explicitly throughout our listings and website our turn around time and where those details can be found. We are a handmade, made to order, family business. We're not a big box, corporate company that makes things overseas. We work extremely hard making each to order and by hand, which is the reason of a longer turn around time. This was explained to Heather several times, and each response back she threatened a PayPal claim and demanded a refund. Because of the nature of her unkind words and demeanor, we chose to fully refund and not fulfill her order. It makes us really sad to see that this review was left on Christmas Day even (12/25)- as you'd think this is the season on kindness. It goes a long way. Hopefully next time Heather decides to purchase from a small business, she reads the turn around and shipping policy to know what to expect. We've been in business over 3.5 years and have been delivered packages all over the world, satisfying many happy customers. Customer service and excellent quality is something we really pride ourselves on, and it's very disappointing to read an untruthful review here on Christmas Day, especially. Best of luck to this buyer in the future, and we do hope some kindness and peace will find its way to her!
