So when I went to run a next gen game in my pc I needed 16 GB more ram. I went to the site it scanned my pc. It informed me I could install two 8gb of ram. It also informed me of the type my pc was compatible with. Very reasonable priced, very easy to order and pay. The delivery did take about 2 and half weeks to Ireland do keep that in mind. I installed the ram booted up my pc and now I've 32gb ram as opped to 16gb. I can now run next gen games with 10 GB ram to spare. I'll purchase here again for hardware
Crucial enticed me by the good selection in the online store. I found exactly what no one else had in stock. Website states orders will be shipped/updated within 7 days. Nothing was reported to me for 3 weeks (PROBLEM 1). I called customer support, which is a call center in India (PROBLEM 2). The technician promptly looked up my order, then requested to put me on hold to find the status (PROBLEM 3). This is when I opened this independent review blog and noticed their track record at horrible customer service. What was happening to me is exactly what the first 3 reviews warned one of. I immediately called back customer service and cancelled my order. We will see if they can do that timely so I dont have to get VISA involved.
I order some ram and an ssd drive on the 19th of Dec. It is the 10th of January, and I have heard nothing from these people. Their website doesn't work. I made a chat contact today and found out that it wasn't even shipped yet! They told me I would get an email with a tracking number in a few days when it was shipped. I was a regular customer of Crucial but no more. I will go else where for my computer needs from now on.
Tip for consumers:
I will never go to Crucial again
Over the weekend I placed the order with them and immediately noticed that the shipping address was wrong. Their internal system. I sent them a message telling him it was wrong and it needed to be changed to the same address as the building address. I called them first thing Monday morning before the item was shipped and was told. The order was canceled an hour later. I was notified that the item shipped. I called them once again and they told me that They requested FedEx, return the item to them before delivery. And at that time they would issue me a refund or shut them out to me. I was then notified the item was delivered. I called them and asked them for a refund. They told me that since I filled out. The forms wrong that it was my fault regardless of the lies that they had told me over and over. This company cannot be trusted.

Buyer beware

None. They stole my money.
I bought on ebay, open box, 2 Crucial SSDs 500gb P3 for my computer repair shop. They both developed fatal hardware errors in a few months. Although the SSDs are well within the guarantee period, Crucial would not replace them because I was not the original buyer (and neither would be my customers so no guarantee for them either). I will NEVER buy a Crucial product again for myself, or my customers. Samsung has a much better warranty: they replace their defectives no matter who has it.

Samsung SSDs as they give a solid guarantee.
Horrible shipping. Ordered on 11/28; Crucial shipped via UPS/USPS Mail Innovations on 11/29; UPS stated estimate delivery 12/08; USPS stated still awaiting the package from UPS on 12/08; UPS stated the package most probably was missing and advised to call Crucial to file lost claim; Crucial stated wait till 12/11 for replacement to ship and to wait at least another 10 days to arrive.
What a disappointing experience.
I placed 2 orders using a voucher code after price checking against amazon.co.uk.
The 2nd order the code was accepted and went through, only after it processed did a box pop up saying the discount was unavailable. At the top off the page it quite clearly states offers are a maximum of 5 per person, and the sale had been agreed at the lower price in the cart. I contacted customer services by Web chat. They were unhelpful but escalated for me. 48hrs later I've still no update. Equally, 6 days later neither order has actually shipped. 1 sent via royal mail still says we are awaiting your parcel and UPS says the same thing.
As the code was overturned on my second order I could have ordered from amazon, for less and with next day delivery.
I reached out to customer services a third time and have only received lip service.
Only buy your ram for crucial if your prepared to wait 2 weeks and pay more than you can elsewhere.

I purchased a MX500 via iFixit.com for my 2019 iMac as an upgrade to the HDD. That purchase was completely November 2022, it's now July 2023 and the MX500 is failing. When I reached out to Crucial (Micron) for a replacement they didn't offer advanced replacement. How is someone supposed to capture their data if they have to ship the old hard drive back first. I offered to submit a credit card to hold the charge in case I didn't ship back the old one and was met with resistance. I asked to be escalated and was told it wasn't possible, without being transferred to anyone else.

MX500 for now, hoping for replacement.
Order memory for 2 day delivery. It never should up. Contact customer service, they sucked, no help at all. Told me to wait for up to 5 business days. Unbelievable.
Ordered on the 5th November first parcel apparently got lost? Now the 5th December and the replacement is still not here. These guys are a joke, speed up computers - try sorting your shipping.
Never ever will I buy from these jokers again - loyal customer lost!
Crucial currently only ships by UPS Mail Innovations. I live about 500 miles from Crucial and it's been a week since they said they shipped it and it's still not here. I suggest buying elsewhere if you want your memory delivered in less than a week.
Edit when asked if they could print off a USPS Priority mail label and hand it to their mailman Crucial replied "Due to the high volume of orders and fluctuating inventory we have been receiving recently we have decided to disable all expedited shipping options to ensure we are keeping up with the current demand."
Evidently they are trying to sell less of what they have for some reason, perhaps to keep the price from dropping. Don't know.
Tip for consumers:
Buy elsewhere if you need it delivered in less than a week.

I was told through customer service it takes up to 48hrs for UPS or USPS to upload information to their website. Totally untrue statement, they are taking orders on merchandise they do not have inventory. Congress should look into to this this business practice they forcing customers to consume something they do not have forcing one in to a monopoly scheme. By doing this they're taking away your right to choose.
Customer service misinformed me and refuse to refund me. First, they changed the delivery date from 3 days to 3 weeks, they were not able to cancel the order but informed me they did. Finally, the delivery tracking provided no expected delivery date. So return and refund is pending permanently. They cannot give a clear explanation for all these exceptions.
In this world of Amazon next day delivery Crucial need to up their act on delivery times. They go on about speeding up your pc whilst having the worst delivery service on the planet.

From the Crucial website, I TRIED to purchase a 1TB SSD and installation kit. I added both items to my cart, clicked on my cart, and it was empty, so I tried it again, it showed now I have 4 items in my cart, and again when I opened, it was still empty... I then tried the "chat bot" (Mistake) - I typed in the problem, and the response was "high-tech gobbledygook" - (Get this: setup a Incognito mode (?) - YEAH RIGHT... I went to AMAZON, "Click - Click" PAID / DONE! (SAME price / FASTER delivery)... I suggest EVERYONE do the same!

Do not purchase Crucial Products! There warranty is ridiculous! I've had a SSS drive for less than 3-months and it's having issues. When I contacted them for a replacement, I had to answer multiple questions, etc. That was OK, I get that to ensure it was not something I was doing wrong. Than, a few days later, another e-mail with more things to try. OK...I do that too the whole time needing my laptop for work and it's having issues. So, another day goes by and they ask again for more information. Now, this is getting ridiculous! They finally tell me to send my information over so they can issue an RMA and inform me I will take 10-days to get the products and process the RMA, etc. and they will send me a remanufactured one back. So, looking like maybe in a month, if I am lucky, I will a remanufactured one back. I offered to give them my credit card information, have them send me a replacement so I can get back up and running ASAP and if for some reason I don't return the drive they can charge my card...many places do this since I've been in IT for almost 40-yrs but not Crucial! Their policy is, "Sorry, you need to wait and we are not to do anything to help our customers"...basically, "F-You" to the people that will now NO LONGER BE THERE CUSTOMER at ALL!

This company SUX. They don't deliver your product on time. Then when you call them on it they give you the run around, keep you on the phone forever and will hang up on you! Then if you call back the best compensation you'll get is your measly refund, meanwhile you've been waiting weeks and still don't have the RAM you ordered. Save yourself the stress and just order from amazon or another retailer.
I placed an order on 6 July. Today it was cancelled. I have to wait another week and a half for my money back. That means they have kept my money for 5 weeks even though they never had the item to sell. Sounds like a nice easy way to make money!

None - they were never supplied
I paid for an order on the 6th. The tracking number provided failed day one, and the chat bot Chip, even with turning off all adblockers, never let me speak to anyone. On the 15th, I finally managed to get in touch with UPS, and they informed me that the package I believed lost had not been sent out until the 13th! I contacted the company, and they said it was sent out the 10th. I trust the UPS more than the company, but I digress. It was suppose to arrive in 7-14 days. Turns out, according to customer service, it is "expected" to arrive 8 days after being sent out, and the amount of time it takes to send it out? You never know. Could be weeks. However long it may take? You will get no message about the delay, or be contacted in any way. Customer service was there for one thing only, to repeatedly tell me "im sorry, cant do anything" over and over. The product hasn't even arrived yet, so I cant comment on that, but if you are ordering from them, and plan around the product to arrive in a timely fashion? And by that I mean the 7-14 days quoted to expect? Assume it is going to take about a full month to be safe. This company shot me in the foot and was happy to apologize for it, but couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it, and made finding out what happened one of the most difficult attempts I've ever experienced.
Tip for consumers:
Assume that the shipping will take a month or so, instead of planning around it adhering to the 7-14 day expectation.

Still waiting for it to arrive.

Still awaiting refund
Rude customer service unhelpful
1. After placing my order I get a reply saying the product was "Out of Stock"; a decent company would have mentioned that fact before ordering!
2. Their checkout system would not let me enter my home address.
3. I never received the 16gb ram I ordered.
4. The guy on customer service was impatient. I was trying to get either the product or my refund. We "Settled" on the refund. He said I wouldn't have to do anything more. Then I get an email that says I have to return the order to a certain place to get my refund; however, I never received the order in the first place! That was over a month ago, so I received neither the product nor my refund, and it cost me near $70 bucks! Like I said, AVOID AT ALL COSTS and save your money and your peace of mind!
There are so many problems with this company. 1. Their scan program gives wrong results. 2. They recommend the wrong product. 3. Their support documentation doesn't cover their product. Great. 4. Their technical support has to go to YouTube for answers and then gives you the wrong information. 5. Their chat system is slow. 6. Their staff has heavy accent and no technical knowledge of computers. 6. Try and return a product. Lots of excuses but you are stuck, stuck, stuck. Stay clear of this company
Tip for consumers:
Just don't
Stay away from this company, they will lie to you on the phone. They will lie to you and claim they will call back and they don't. This company has uneducated customer service from India where they always have loud noise in the background and you can't understand their accent, it's just a total waste of time.
OK I placed an order on 04/08/22 in US (1T internal SSD, 8Gb memory, and SATA cable), and the site said 5-7 day shipping.
10 days later, having checked my order status numerous times (which always showed "order in process"), and sent several querying emails, I eventually spoke to a customer service assistant (overseas!). The (actually helpful agent) told me they were out of stock. They were when I placed the order but was at no time told that!
I was told inventory would be available in about 10 days, and they offered my 15% discount if I waited for it. I agreed to wait until 04/28... being a reasonable person. Now here, let me state I could have ordered the EXACT same items from Amazon, to be delivered in 3 days!. Then during the night 04/18) I got another email stating stock would (might?) be available 05/28/22.!
My response is that date is totally unacceptable, and to cancel my order immediately.
I know there is a shipping slow down and shortage of parts (I work in electronics industry). BUT my beef is the fact Crucial were not open and honest with the customer. Even during a call to customer services (I downloaded the transcription so I have a copy of the call).
Maybe the name of the company should be reflected in their efforts... it might be very "crucial" to the customer to give them information they need, in case they want the products fast. Very disappointed.
Same issues as the other reviews. I ordered on 11/28. Should have been delivered on 12/9. Customer service is horrendous. Sindhura the support rep was useless. Just told me to refuse the order. I told her that that never works 99% of the time they just leave it in the mailbox. My client is p*ssed off that it hasnt come in on time. I asked them to pay for return shipping as I now I do not need it as they delivered to late, she told me "they dont do that". They obviously dont do a lot of things right. Never using them again!
Dirty not very good rooms and breakfast not very nice but the staff was friendly bbbbbbbbbbbbbnbbbbbbbb
For my customer, in my computer repair store, I ordered a 16 gb memory kit and paid for expedited shipping to meet my customer's deadline.
First, Crucial did NOT send it expedited... I kept watching the tracking system, and it sat "waiting to be picked up" for several days. I had to apologize to my customer. The RAM was received 3 extra days beyond expedited shipping promises.
When the RAM arrived (before I installed it in my customer's laptop), I called customer service and asked for a refund of my expedited shipping. The India customer service rep said no problem given the timing, and I was going to "get an email when it is done".
When I put the RAM in my customer's laptop, one of the pieces of RAM was bad. My customer needed the ram and I could only sell them 8 GB. I put her 4 GB chip in also, so at least she had 12. I had to apologize to my customer, but she was understanding (a saint... late shipping, 1/2 product was bad).
I called, on the phone to Crucial customer service and asked that they replace the bad piece of RAM (at least i could put it in my inventory since i couldnt sell it to my customer). The India rep said that they would mail it right out and "you will get an email when it is done"...
No email... time passes... no ram, no refund...
I call back:
Regarding my replacement ram: the rep said the original rep did not know procedure, and i have to mail back both pieces in the set, and they cannot just replace the bad one... i explained my situation... and he said that is the policy. I asked him to look up where my expedited shipping refund was... and he hung up on me.
I called back, asked to speak to a supervisor... and they wouldn't pass me on until i retold the story AGAIN... then i was passed to a "supervisor"...
The "supervisor" listened to my 2 issues (refund of expedited shipping, and replacement of bad ram), then he said he would forward me to his supervisor and said i would have to explain my story again...
His "supervisor" got on the phone and i went over my 2 issues again. He said he would place me on hold to look up the shipping refund... then he hung up on me...
I called back to the 800# and it rang and rang and rang, then went to a busy signal.
I called back and told them i was working with a supervisor when he hung up on me... he wanted to know all the details, so I had to re-tell the same 2 issues again... then he told me i would receive my refund and "would get an email" when it was done. Regarding the bad ram, he said i would "get an email" with an rma in it... to which i asked if they were also going to send me a shipping label to pay for shipping... and he said NO that I would have to pay shipping on the product to return the bad part...
That is when i said, enough is enough: it was my turn to hang up on them... I told them that from now on I will just buy from Amazon because of way better customer service, and they dont charge you to return a defective product... the india customer service rep could care less.
