I have been partnering with a friend on a start-up that is a really novel and, I think, revolutionary idea. We started looking at crowdfunding options to get it funded and were confused by the many choices. The first choice seemed to be kickstarter as it was the most popular. I went out looking for some sort of comparison or reviews site of these different options and found this site. What a great resource! The site ranks the various crowdfunding websites on various factors, including usability, traffic, advertising, and customer service. It also lists the features of each crowdfunding site and any potential negatives. We ended up narrowing it down to Indiegogo and GoFundMe using this site and went with GoFundMe, not only due to their review but the positive comments from other users. So far, it has been a positive experience and the reviews site sent us in the right direction.
