I've been using Cougar Life ever since I got divorced because my husband cheated on me with a younger woman. It was great for my self esteem to also date younger men and I do it for almost three years now. Cougar Life is a safe site which totally meets my demands. I even managed to convince my (girl)friends to create profiles too. Some of them are still active.

Me and my girls have been using other sites like Cougars69 too but it is true what everyone says: This site is just a place for people who want to have no strings attached fun. Nothing wrong with that and I have been using it for several one night stands but if you want some well behaved young gentleman who you can imagine to have a relationship with, Cougar Life is a nice site to use.

I decided to join cougar dating sites like CougarLife (great to meet serious guys) and Cougars69 (this one is more like a hook up site) long time ago. But for a woman, we have a lot of reluctance to meet a man in such a sketchy way.

In fact, the whole cougar dating thing is a little dodgy when you think about it. But realistically, if I was perfectly satisfied and happy with guys my age, I would not be doing this in the first place. Yes, I enjoyed flirting and dating with younger guys much more! And it was all about meeting up with someone who can satisfy my sexual desires. Younger guys, trust me ladies, can do that much better!

A waste of money. No real people on it. Almost immediately after you sign up with a non-paid profile, you will get lots of attention. This sucks you into thinking that there are real people on it, and further sucks you into buying a paid membership. Then once you have paid, no one responds to anything. It is such a waste. Go to AFF where there are lots of real people (even if many are just cyber...), or POF or Craigslist... but NOT Cougarlife.

Jeez, I am not surprised this site does not work for some guys. This site will give you what you put in. And if you are expecting immediate results you should try a hooker instead! Also keep in mind that this is not a sex dating site! Don't mistake this site with Cougars69.com or some other "MILF hook up sites". Women on CL are (usually) seeking a serious relationship.

I've been on all major cougar dating sites (CL, Cougars69, JC) on and off for about 2 years now and I liked all of them but they are all different from each other! Know what you want!

Now the bad news: I believe that all of them place fake profiles. I guess that is part of the business. But once you use your common sense you should be fine!

Stop complaining! CL is a good site and it will give you what you put in. Period!

Cougarlife.com is an established and reputable age gap dating site. I'd not use it if you are just looking for casual encounters. For that purpose you can easily find women on Cougars69.com but if you are seeking a serious relationship with women in their 40s you can't go wrong using this site.

I would not really pay attention to the negative reviews. They are comprehensible sometimes but often those guys complain which used this site with wrong expectations.

Only CON I see are the credit based high costs. It gets quiet expensive but may be worth it.

Conclusion: Do not use if you just want to have a casual encounter. There are better sites for this purpose. But if you are looking for a serious relationship with an attractive woman in her 40s Cougarlife.com will give you what you are searching for

I signed up and started to browse profiles and almost ALL of the ladies are not even in the USA. They all have the same excuse. They are from Florida, or Texas or California but are currently out of the states. Then they give you their number and tell you text only as their connection is bad for phone conversation. The ones that do call sound like tribal elders and not even ladies. Lets not forget the numerous ladies profiles that have, TEXT ME, and they give you a number on their profile picture. CougarLife is a scam site... dont spend your money on it. Hell, go out to a club. At least you might find a real live woman. Not some fake trying to scam you over the internet

I am a 34 year old guy who has been off & on cougarlife in the past and have met several cougars... With two of them I had some kind of serious affair. Same results on cougars69, which I am using in the recent past. I am not saying that women using cougar dating sites are more desperate but obviously a little more easy going. I've been using several hookup sites for years with absolutely NO results whatsoever but ever since I going after older women it works just fine. I am not sure how cougarlife developed ever since I stopped using it but back in the days it was awesome!

To get an idea of how to this site works I made two fake email accounts and set up two profiles on cougarlife.com. One profile as an older lady the other as a younger guy.
On the guys' send of things everything seemed normal. However on the ladies side of things I noticed that the site send out messages to people on your behalf all stating "(profile name here) has indicated that she's interested in you." Nothing prompted this I didn't fill out a profile for either or even post any pics. I didn't even browse profiles, the site just did it on its own.

So in conclusion if you're a guy and wondering why all these dead profiles are writing you now you know.
If you're a woman and wondering why so many guys you're not interested in keep writing you, now you know why.

Well, via CougarLife I met up with a lovely guy who was quite nice looking, and a very nice guy. We first met for coffee, enjoyed each other's company and, for our second date, I went over to his place for dinner and we watched a movie together. I liked him for sure, but there was no chemistry. He wasn't just looking for a hook-up and neither was I. Have yet to meet anyone else. He likes older women and I like younger men. The site helped us meet. I think that's ok.

What people say about this site is true. Complete waste of money. If there truly are any real women out there that would care to chat and get to know each other, send me an e-mail. *******@rocketmail.com

CougarLife always comes up first when you search for cougar dating sites, so its no surprise that its one of the best for meeting MILFs and cougars. After a mate told me about the site he uses (JustCougars.com) I figured Id try cougar dating for myself. Not sure how these compare as ive never tried JustCougars.com but from what he says they sound very similar (although his better shag ratio is probably due to the fact hes been using these kinda sites for longer than me and not necessarily because Cougarlife is a worse site than JC). I really like CougarLife though, sleek and simple to use with a decent selection of women in their 40s and even older, if thats your thing. Id guess the number is cougars to younger guys is quite similar, whereas if you join a normal online dating site theres bound to be a lot more men than ladies. Not found Courtney Cox yet mind you, but then I suppose you cant have everything in life! 8/10
