I've never left a review on here before, but the customer service from this company is disgusting.
I ordered 4 corsets on 2for1 offers. I returned 3 in one parcel. One plus the freebie for refund, and the other freebie for an exchange. I completed their returns form detailing this as well.
Some time later I received a refund - for one of the free items (£31ish instead of the £71 plus exchanged item I was expecting)
When I messaged the chat system (because * informed me they rarely answer the phone) I spoke to * who gave me a very snarky, rude reply that said (and the rude use of caps was his)
Firstly I was due NIL refund as the item they refunded was FREE, that they had refunded me this even though they didn't have to, and that I had only returned 2 items.
Since then I have messaged and spoke again to both * and *. Both have promised to speak to the warehouse again and both failed to get back to me when promised - 3 times now.
Neither will answer me the simple question - how much does one corset weigh, as I have a proof of postage that clearly shows the weight of the parcel I returned and they received, which is clearly more than 2 corsets.
Nor will they answer me why, despite me filling in their detailed returns slip, their warehouse staff did not question that it said there were 3 items in the packet, or that 1 was for exchange.
Neither will consider that their warehouse staff lost the 3rd corset, despite my proof of postage and returns slip.
So - I ordered 4 corsets on a 2for1 offer, have a refund on the freebie instead of the exchange I wanted, and am still owed £71.99. When a company takes your money but doesn't provide the item or refund, what would you call it?

In response to the comment from the company. Your facts and timelines are sadly askew. I did have to contact you 3 times, luckily I kept all of the chat scripts. I raised the chargeback after failing to get anywhere and clearly saying that I would do so if you didn't get back to me as you repeatedly promised.
Your calculations are also incorrect - you refunded £31.20 for a FREE item, as you clearly informed me. You have now decided that was part refund towards an item that you originally said was not returned (so why refund part of it) and now accept was lost by you.
So you have decided you only owe me £40.79. I still expect either £71.99 or £40.79 and the exchanged item - but to get an exchange involves me having to send you more money, according to your appalling exchange policy.
Paypal is YOUR card provider and processor, not mine; you should know this if you have any understanding of the system. My bank speaks to your bank, Paypal, who speaks to you.
You say ever customer should resolve the issue with the seller first - believe me I tried.
And you have sent me an email criticising my behaviour because I left a review as the only way I could see to get any action. Perhaps you should keep your factually incorrect responses to yourself until you have actually resolved the issue.

I'm not one to leave reviews but this company annoyed me so much, I felt I had to. I ordered a corset which I was told was in stock and a delivery date of 5-7 working days delivery. Day 6 had passed without an update or despatch notice so I decided to message them for an update. 24 hours passed with no reply. So I logged into my account to find that there was no trace of an order. I emailed again no reply in the next 24 hours. So I went into their website to use the instant messenger service which claims to be active at the most random of times. Still no replies. A further email and 24 hours passed with still no reply so I started googling. I was horrified to see how many people had had similar experiences and I felt as though I'd bee scammed. Fortunately I paid through PayPal so I emailed Corset deal (VG London) again through the PayPal option. Still no reply! The following evening I was ready to go mad. I went into their website to use the messenger service and wrote a lengthy message. To my surprise "Kim" was typing! She gave me a whole host of excuses, but couldn't give me one update for my order even after 8 days! She kept saying the care team were the only ones who could deal with it and I would have to wait until working hours. But I knew from reading previous reviews that they don't have a care team. There's only ever two people that crop up; Kim & John. Kim kept promising to send me an update the next day but the more she made excuses and used words like gonna and ent, the more I felt that this company are just cowboys. I demanded a cancellation and immediate refund which at first she tried to dissuade me from but I was insistent and threatened PayPal intervention. She then promised an immediate cancellation and refund within 24 hours and email notification that this was done. I waited another 24 hours and you guessed it - no refund! So another email through PayPal and then another the following day, still no reply and no refund. When I came back from a holiday 3 days later I still had no refund, no emails and certainly no product. This morning I escalated my claim through PayPal then out of curiosity visited their website to use the messenger service. This time John answered and I pasted my previous email to PayPal into his messenger. He didn't offer any apologies or excuses just said that the refund would be paid within the next 5-7 working days! I went nuts and said that I'd already waited 5 and demanded it immediately. After a brief pause, he then messaged back stating that the refund had been paid with no further comments or apologies. I checked my PayPal and sure enough it had been refunded but what an awful and extremely frustrating experience that was! For goodness sake please don't buy from this company if you want a corset. Go somewhere else because this company is way too much hassle and stress. I didn't get to see their product quality but some further googling indicates to me that they buy cheap rubbish and import from India and that explains the delays. I don't think their products are of a decent standard from other reviews and I've even seen some on eBay that they also sell, which suggests that they probably import cheap tat and sell at a higher price! Spend your money elsewhere!
This has been probably the worst shopping experience of my life. I only gave one star because I had to. I've tried countless ways to get ahold of someone... there is no one available to answer the phone, the call back function doesn't work, the chat feature takes hours to respond (not that I've gotten one), and the email responses just keep giving me the runaround. Here's to hoping a blast on social media gets me some answers.
I sent back my first corset (which, to be fair, was just GORGEOUS but I ordered too big) to be be exchanged and it was confirmed delivered on 9/14. I received no notification that my return had been received - I literally had to ask for it myself after I hadn't heard anything for a week. After finally getting delivery confirmation, I received an email asking what I wanted in exchange, even though I already provided that on the paperwork with the return, as instructed. On 9/24 I received an email stating that the exchange was being processed and that I would receive a tracking number at a later date. Again, I had to be the one to follow up and ask for the tracking information, only to be told on 9/27 that my item was a pre-order that needed to be manufactured! No one bothered to mention that to me before this point, or I would have selected another item and saved everyone the headache. And of course, I was told I'd receive tracking information at a later date. Almost another week goes by, and of course, I have not yet received the tracking information. So, again, I (the customer) had to follow up with a status inquiry on 10/2, specifically stating that the whole reason for this purchase was for a Halloween event on 10/20 and that I was beginning to get nervous about not receiving it on time. On 10/3, I received an email stating that it was being processed and due to ship in 2-3 working days. I had not received the tracking info by the third working day (which carried over a weekend and a holiday), and so naturally, I sent yet another inquiry on 10/9 followed by another on 10/10. On 10/11, I was notified that the item was NOT in fact, being shipped due to a quality issue. While I can appreciate the fact that they don't want to ship a subpar quality item, this has just gone on too long... to the point of abject disappointment and frustration.
It's literally been a month, and I'm upset that I have had to all of the followup on my own. I was never notified of the receipt of the original item - I had to confirm that myself. I was not notified of the replacement's "pre-order" status until after the fact, nor was I given the option to change my order to something that was in stock. And I'm just now being notified of the quality issue, which I only received because my own persistence.
Last Friday I got yet another email stating that the tracking information will be updated the following day... can you guess what happened next? That's right! NOTHING. No shipping confirmation, no tracking information, and no responses to email or chats (because apparently having people to actually speak to isn't a business practice). Here we are, a month from when this started and 4 days from my Halloween event and still this hasn't been resolved. I have no time to purchase another one and am still out the money I spent on this one in the first place.
I have asked for expedited shipping (which I don't think is unreasonable at this point) and I also asked to hear from someone in upper management in the customer service department; someone should be made aware of the debacle that has been my return/exchange experience and how utterly disappointed I've been as first time customer. Aaaaaand, you guessed it. SILENCE.
