Had hip surgery on May 22,2023. I did not have 1 problem! The staff was awesome! The nurses and doctors were fantastic. Friendly and professional. I will recommend Cooper to anyone who asked!

“Worst hospital, horrible doctors, staff is nasty, very spiteful, dirty, unkept rooms”

I'm not surprised by all the bad reviews about this hospital. Drs uneducated, big egos, & get mad if you question them. It's a circus and there is a rotation of circus clowns that do not read the patient's chart to access the patient. They hit an artery during surgery & the care went downhill from there. Asked to have my father transferred & was told he wasn't stable & that if I wanted to transfer him I would have to find a dr to take him. In other words we will treat him & keep making one mistake after another. My father is suffering in this $#*! hole and nobody there is capable of handling the mistakes that they made & they want to keep running the same tests over & over again as well as do other procedures even though they haven't corrected one issue that was caused by them. We begged them for things we saw my father declining and told them, none of them bothered to notice the symptoms he was experiencing if we didn't point them out they wouldn't have been addressed until they were so bad my father is too weak, hasn't walked since the botched surgery, they did not get him up out of bed, he developed pneumonia & now another infection that has caused delirium and now they want to vent him. Please, please, please, take my advice and avoid this death trap, their own employees say they would not come to this hospital for care, that speaks volumes, & should tell you how horrible the care is hear. Mostly foreigner residents that see patients, I don't want a resident treating my father I want a seasoned dr that knows what they are doing. Forget about a good bedside manner, you won't get it, people who are not from this country do not understand the culture. They come here to make money & live their best life and are destroying the citizens. This hospital has more foreigners working than Americans & it's shameful. I'm not being disrespectful, I'm being honest about what I have witnessed in the 6 weeks my father has been suffering under inadequate care. Go anywhere but this hospital, they are killing people due to the lack of communication, constant rotating door or inexperienced doctors, even the nurses are contracted. I think it's due to the cost of malpractice insurance because I know this hospital has tons of lawsuits against them, why they haven't been shut down is beyond me. My family is lawyering up to put a stop from the horrible care my dad has received. There is so much more that happened & none of it good, but I think you should get the picture. Stay as far away from this place that you can. I'm going to blow Cooper up with bad reviews & won't stop until they fix the problems they have. They should humble themselves & take a look at all the bad reviews & ask why their own employees do want to be treated there? It's because they see the mistakes being made & how they handle them by lying and covering them up. They messed with the wrong one I know every single thing they did & they will not get away with it.

I was a traumatic injury and Cooper did all the right things to save my life. The after care has alot to be desired. Communication is terrible. Pain Management is do dysfunctional. I had 3 procedures and I was told I was get one procedure but got something different. Nurse verified 2 time I was there for steroid Injection but when Dr came before procedure he said is was a nerve block. I was never informed insurance was deny one thing so the agreed to another without telling me. No one told me I could lose feeling in my legs and it was common until after it happened. PT was good but they often have too many different people working with u and they don't always listen too patient. Front desk was great at handle scheduling however. I had alot of injuries and in the beginning I loved Cooper but my gratitude was replaced with confusion and a lack of communication. Vestibular was great until it wasn't. Was just discharged out of nowhere and was deeply hurt and confused. Dr implied my injuries to my head where more Psychological. But the did not know I was already see a Psychologist from another institution and they were upset a Doctor said that to me as nothing in my previous history of depression had nothing to do with my current injuries. I had to Neuro evaluation. One by Cooper made it seem like my past was my issue as they never bothered to ask what was I like before the accident. Had they, they would have know my depression from traumatic losses never impacted my working abilities in 30 years. I had a state professional one and there report was completely different from Cooper as they saw what I was saying how my head injury changed me. I also was evaluated by a other mental health Doctors prior to my injury and they said I was mental help shamed. This was the most hurtful experience but thank God I was already seeing Virtua Doctors while deal with Cooper so I was blessed to get proper diagnosis and treat. The best part of my therapy is Speech and Cognitive. They are excellent and have their stuff together. Cooper overall in an emergency great. After care not so much

While visiting a family member over that past week in ICU. I kept noticing that not all staff are wearing their masks. A lot of the staff wore their mask as a chin guard.

I had an appointment for 9am. I arrived approximately 8:50 am. I was escorted to the examination room about 9:10 am. So far so good. Then:
I was told to step on electronic scale by the assistant; she tapped a button. To my surprise, I had gained 15 pounds within an hour. I weighed myself before leaving home that morning. I think the scales should be recalibrated after every patience. Next, the assistant took my blood pressure electronically. I have never, ever, ever felt so much pressure on my arm. Sadly, the numbers the assistant wrote down for the doctor were HIGH and WRONG from this electronic instrument! The doctor told me my blood pressure was high! I immediately told her no way! The doctor rechecked my blood pressure using a different blood pressure monitor and got lower numbers that put me in normal range for my age group. Telling people they have high blood pressure is a mistake that should NOT be made because it is avoidable. I think the assistant should receive more training on how to properly use these electronic instruments to get accurate results! Finally, the assistant told me before she left examination room the doctor would come in within 10-15 minutes. I thanked her; she left and closed the door. I looked at my phone for the time. As I sat there, I became irritated! I sat there 45 minutes before the doctor entered the examination room. Upon entering the room, the doctor did apologize for the long delay. This can be verified in my chart. Look at the time difference from the time the assistant made an entry and the doctor made an entry. I do expect some wait time, however, there should be some respect for my time as well. If I have another experience like this, I will have no choice but to prepare myself to look for a better healthcare option.

How do you run one of the largest hospitals and not have wheel chairs available for patients. I went to the hospital from the doctors office with my 85 year old mother. When I got there I asked for a wheel chair to get her into the building and was told we don't have any available. I was very surprised and asked how could this be. The women from patient information told me well it happ me all the time in a sarcastic manner then just walked off. If this happens often in such a large hospital it would appear here on s some poor managment good by on.

Just disappointing to have to carry Simone into the hospital and hope you can find a seat for them. Going to the hospital is stressful enough then have to deal with something like this is just down right disgusting.

This is the reason n I myself will never deal with a doctor that only works out of Cooper.
