I run what you'd call a small Ma and Pa store in the Bronx. Business had been alright for a long time until the pandemic hit. We sell essential supplies, and managed to stay open through the lockdown, business took a massive hit. I'd already created my company's website, but I needed someone to handle the marketing, but I thought it would take a while and never bothered to look for anything until the lockdowns hit.

The situation started getting bad, and I frantically looked for anything that could help. Sure enough, I came across ContentDevelopmentPros as one of the top hits for digital firms in New York. I started talking to them and explained my situation. They hopped the gun and provided me with a free website audit report to see what my website's "SEO" is like, they explained the problems and what they could help me to get my online sales up.

They created blogs, articles, and different social media accounts for my business to increase the brand awareness. It's been a few months now, and it really works! Both online and in-store sales are up, I've hired more employees, and plan to continue working with them in the long run!

Beware, this is perhaps the most shady company that I have ever had the displeasure of using.

Lied to by Contend Development Pros on a Daily Basis.

They actually performed work that they were not authorized to do. This was just unbelievable.

They completely failed to comply with any of our instructions and they just do whatever they feel like. You and your company do not matter to them.

I work in SEO but do not have time to handle everything myself so we gave CDP a try. Worst mistake ever. The writers are very LOW quality, I'm pretty sure they are getting 3 dollar articles from IWriter. Also the writers do not have even basic understanding of SEO.

This company preys on people who they feel do not understand SEO so that they can hustle them without being detected. Their is a word for that, it's called SCAM!

Also, they have fake employees to make you think they are a bigger company and not just 1 person who is outsourcing to India.

Ask to speak to a So Called project manager and they suddenly have an emergency and are unavailable. Then they lie to you some more and say the project manager will call you ASAP, however, they never do because fake people can not call you.

We demanded a full refund and told them in writing that not only do we refuse any of their work but to stop immediately on anything that they are working on. They then lied some more and said they would refund. However, this was just a SHADY stall tactic to send more work which they were told not to do.

I that point I had finally lost all patience and I called them up and screamed at them. I find it very sad that any person or company should use such unethical and shady business practices that their client must scream at them. Also, they are so pushy and refuse to stop even when you put it in writing.

They wasted hundreds of dollars in company resources from all of the babysitting they needed and end the end, still not 1 usable piece of writing. Still stuck with un-authorized backlinks.

The amount of stress and extra resources involved when dealing with these scammers is unbelievable.

I would also like to point out that there are many positive reviews here. I hope everyone understands that companies put ads on Craiglist and pay people a few dollars to write positive reviews. I'm not saying that all of their reviews are fake but I will say use your brains and do not believe all of the positive reviews you read here or anywhere.

It's come to a point where chargebacks and complaints to Government agencies such as the Better Business Bureau, and The federal Trade Commission are in order.

So everyone is warned, This is not a company that you want to get yourself mixed up in. Horrible business practices, worthless content, They do not listen and they blatantly Lie Lie Lie!

It has now been confirmed by someone that they have a FAKE business address. You can find that complaint on Pissed Consumer

Update Today On July 19 2018 - More lies from CDP - I have it here in writing and they even try Bribery and Extortion in regards to this very real review right here on SiteJabber.
