That was quick and dirty. I hope I really have now a valid Concealed Weapon permit.
I was in for a treat in being trained by CC! But it was far more than that. It was far more. It has been more than 50 years since I last carried a firearm let alone shot one so I guess I was starting all over. Even being in a class of "youngsters," I did not feel out of place as the instructor answered all questions clearly and precisely. He covered the material that I was expecting and then some. I was comfortable and ready for the live fire. The instructor (James English) was patient and informed with me.
I scored 15 out of 18/25 (needed the three to qualify), so I signed up for the next live fire and was granted this arrangement, and took more lessons on my own. At the next class with the same instructor. I scored 20 out of 25 and was successful and passed! YES!

I was a little nervous at the range, but my instructor Chris Sullivan, was very patient and thorough and helped me learn what I needed to do. The Dept of Ag in Ft. Walton was very professional and expeditious. All in all, it was a good experience. Thank you Concealed Coalition!
I've learned a lot from the instructors. They are very knowledgeable and experienced individuals relating to safety and law enforcement. I've learned things that I did not know even with my extensive background with firearms and military training. I would take the class again or a more advanced training from instructors.
It was informative and I backed up a couple of times to hear something I wasn't sure about. I had previous training for CC a few years ago but did not get the permit because I waited too long after having training certification and my eligibility expired.
Overall, the program is very straight forward. Clear instructions were provided during the lecture part of the course. The safety NRA Instructor for the Live Fire was excellent. He is an excellent representative of a well organized training program.
The instructions were easy to understand. I was able to back-track to review any complicated points.
