It took me over an hour to get to an answer for a simple question. I got several robo answers, the chat screen disappeared, the call back technician disconnected after 10 minutes. The robo telephone assistant restarted my modem which was not a problem, then told me toSeveral tries just to find a good contact number!
This company outsources the customer service to another country. When you actually do get to speak to a person they do not speak clear English. I used to be able to speak to an American. I guess we can thank our current govt since its now popular to outsource to other countries leaving Americans without jobs. Not only is that frustrating but the other people repeat the same steps to rectify the problem over and over-very frustrating without solution! When I can find a company that doesn't outsource its customer svc and when my contract is up with this foreign company I am changing to an American supporting company. Looking forward to firing Xfinity/Comcast!
Why is their system so complicated. It took me almost 40 minutes for me to get through all the prompts answering all the silly questions. To get an agent on the phone. I do not want to talk to your silly computer. I want to talk to a human reading off a script that clearly has ZERO care in the world about my problem. We are in a pandemic. If you didn't know COMCAST. I am fortunate enough to still have a job and able to work from home. However, at least once a week on a client conference call or a team call. The internet goes out. I am so sick of calling and complaining. I don't want $50 off my bill. I want my internet to work. I want to hold up my end of the bargain and pay my bill. You hold up yours. We have so little choices here in Grand Rapids but I am going else where. You can kick rocks comcast :)
RANT OVERRR
One star only because I can't give it a negative rating.
My cable went out 15 minutes ago without warning. I tried to text them using the direct-to-agent number they gave me. No answer. I called the main number: it told me to reboot the box (it already did that itself). When i refused to reboot a second time, it hung up on me. An agent finally answered my text and told me to call back tomorrow. When i finally got an agent he refused to speak to me (texting for long periods of time is difficult for me) and told me i was rude and I should either call the main number (again, hung up on me once already) or ask for a callback (why should I if they're already right there?).
A few weeks ago they moved a whole chunk of stations without prior notice. So I had no idea where 30+ channels went.
Just an awful, awful company. Overcharges, poor service, terrible agents, zero accountability.
Horrible customer service horrible service to repair issue I have had nothing but problems with Comcast since day one I have had service (if you call it that) for 10 months and made 42 calls to Comcast and multiple tech visits. Unsatisfied
This is the absolute worst company every! Please don't get this services! They are liars! The services is over price and when something happens to their product you have to go through hell to get someone on the phone. When they schedule an appointment they change the appointment without notifying you! This is the WORST!
I had an appointment to have my new service installed at my new address. However, there was a cold rain that day, and the Comcast technician failed to appear. I was at home at the scheduled appointment time, and Comcast informed me that the technician came to my home. Another issue, I have had difficulty with their website accessing my bill. Very poor service. I cancelled Comcast and am using a Smart TV. Good bye Comcast!
A month after choosing them for business services I knew I made a huge mistake. I work from home and had two kids doing virtual schooling and their $130 a month service couldn't keep up with us. The three of us had to TAKE TURNS so we could stay connected! Call to cancel and got hit with you have to pay the $3,000 cancellation fee first. I didn't have $3,000 so I told them to drop it to the bare minimum monthly per month till my two years was up. After paying almost two years for worthless services I was happy to call and get my last day confirmed with them and THEY pulled other TRICK from their scum bag. That I am still stuck with them because when I did the transfer to a different address my clock started over! Like the $150 transfer fee of useless services was not bad. HOW? How the hell these companies get away with murder?
Comcast will rip you off, they start you off with these great deals then suddenly your internet slows down so badly to the point you can't even load pages. When you call the customer service phone number, it takes hours to get to talk to someone. The people who work for comcast are extremely rude and do not care about your situation. You will start paying more and more each time until your internet, cable and alarm system is costing you $200 or more per month and the quaility of the connection sucks so badly! I am constantly upset over the amount of money i pay per month i definalty should not have these kinds of issues. Fu** comcast do not go with them ever!
Why am I paying 124.00 a month for internet when am constantly getting a pop up saying my wifi connection is not within range? Why when I am in town am I not within range? This us the biggest rip off company I have ever seen. Maybe more like a scam
I have talked to reps for two days on my business account. Started out that I couldn't receive the weather channel and now told if I was getting it earlier it was a mistake and it must have gotten deleted in an audit. Then a 25% increase a month a go. I asked to have my service canceled and it will not let me cancel on DocuSign without using their pre-made reasons. For internet and a useless TV service my current bill is over $150.00 a month on a five year plus account. Idiots!
Yep, everyone is sunshine and rainbows with friendly fast service when you open an account, but when closing an account, well that is a different story. It took me 4 trips to the Xfinity Edina location to close my wifi account because the phone calls to close the account all seem to suddenly disconnect. It took me 5 calls and 3 were hang ups to close my cell phone account, finally on the 6th attempt, a new vendor got it closed in 45 minutes. Regardless of my account being closed and confirming that with several comcast agents, comcast took the full amount from my checking account. I received condescending service for the 3rd time I requested an update on my prorated refund and each of those 3 times I did not receive the same information. Still no refund was provided. I know I won't be missed, but this breakup was long overdue.
Customer service sucks Every 6 months they hike up the price For just basic Expanded cable They drilled a hole through the side of the house to put the cable through instead of crawling underneath the house and doing it right the 1st time. That's why I rate this a one star
Well back on Aug 28th I called to cancel! Telling them many times I'm done, got off the phone happy! Today I look at my comcast app and they are charging me $300 I was played up till the day I told them to cancel! Just got off the phone with them after another hour telling them I'm not paying nothing, and if I need I'll get a lawyer!
For 2 wks they have supposedly been updating on the lines! That shouldn't take 2 wks! I have lost pay from my job & written up because of lost calls! They are doing this with no option to stay connected for those of us who work from home & no notification ahead of time except for whoops we are doing repairs! They stated they were done 2 days in. It's been 2 wks! IM DONE! If anyone wants to join me in a class action lawsuit tag me!
Terrible service repairs, been waiting 2 months to have the internet connection repaired. Just terrible and trying to get to talk to someone thru the Comcast Virtual Assistant is comical then you get sent to an overseas customer service who have the standard polite replies when you complain. Sickening!. Will never use Comcast ever again. I give them a NEGATIVE 10K STARS. Do not know how they can stay in business with their customer service and not being able to fix a problem but Comcast is too big to go down. Aggravation beyond any thought I would ever have.
I tried to adjust my account with Comcast and they were unwilling to negotiate. Also, it is extremely hard to find a representative that understands English, the speak it well and it's no fault of there own, just another place for Comcast to cut corners and save while you pay more. I told them if they couldn't work with me I will look into Verizon. I closed the my Xfinity account and was told that they will now charge me $25 per cell phone line because we don't have Xfinity (we have three lines so $75 per month). I called Verizon and with them we will be paying less than our Xfinity bill and that includes our cell service. Will NEVER use Comcast again!

We switched carriers because of the terrible conduct and service from Brad Ferrin.
Brad Ferrin lied to us from day one, he talks slick to get you to sign up for extra services then understates the actual fees charged to us. Brad Ferrin has severe mood swings and has yelled profanities at my staff over the phone and stood us up for scheduled meetings.
He signed us up for services and products we did not authorize. He lied to us and acted unprofessionally to everyone including my daughter.
Stay away from Comcast Business until they get rid of Bradley Michael Ferrin.
They applied someone else's payment to my account and my payment to someone else's account. Basically, only part of my bill was paid even though I paid the full amount. Hours and hours on the phone talking to different agents, managers, etc. I've sent proof of payment several times but no resolution. They're threatening to disconnect my service if I don't pay the outstanding balance which I don't even owe. They're adding late fees on the outstanding balance too. I'm a business and am switching to directv and AT&T because of this. What a pain and what a nightmare.
Don't never switch your phone with Comcast They told me if you switch your phone will give you six hundred bucks for 3 phone it's been one year they didn't send me anything I bought phone from them. They told me $1000 after a couple months. I find out the phone is 1800k When I talk to them they told me is not our problem It's very bad service liars

Answer: No real success stories. Comcast kept me on the phone so many hours for issues which should've taken minutes each. Every call to customer service leaves you so aggravated, you cannot think straight for the remainder of the day or night.
