No problems at all

I am so surprised that so many people have had problems with colourpop. They are a newer company, they just celebrated their 3rd year anniversary. They had a sale with free shipping anywhere in the US, no minimum purchase. They also threw in a free limited edition super shock shadow called, i think, birthday cake. I ordered twice. So i had an extra free shadow which i gave to my neighbor.
I find the quality of their products to be excellent, and very price friendly. I haven't had to deal with customer service (yet) so i can't comment on that. However, there have been times that there was a message to customers saying that due to a higher than normal amount of orders, things may take a few extra few days to arrive. I was fine with that, as there is no colourpop actual storefront.
So imma say that i order from colourpop around once a month, maybe a bit less. Maybe more when there's a good sale. The colors really do pop! I would recommend that all y'all ladies give this company a shot. You would very surprised at the quality of the things, as well the amazingly low prices... yes ya can still get a lippie for $5!

I made 3 orders during the new foundation launch on the 14th of June, the products have yet to be shipped and I simply requested a refund instead, that was 3 days ago. I was told the order could not be modified, cancelled or refunded because 'packing' has already begun and yet still nothing has been sent. So basically my money is being held hostage and they will send product when they feel like it. Shouldn't be two days later if packaging has already begun for them to send my stuff. I don't even want the items anymore, I want my money back and to be done with this company. Also their concealers are always below half full causing you to have to re-purchase another sooner than you would have to from other makeup companies who provide concealers in the same sized package. Now I may have to take this (and the matter of the concealers) to court just to get my refunds. They aren't responding to my customer service emails, PayPal, nor social media comments. This was my first time ever having this happen with this company but will certainly be the last as after I hopefully get my refund back, I'm done with them. It's ridiculous the way they are ignoring me and won't simply refund my money for products I do NOT have or were never sent to begin with. The orders say they are 'processing' yet they took the money out of my account long ago. I want my refunds.

Love Colourpop

I love colourpop and all their products! Sometimes it takes a while to get ur order but they are upfront about that and always say it takes about two weeks! This is only because of their high demand! They have a beautiful range of colors and products! Awesome wear and pigmentation! As for their customer service I know they recently sent out an email that they were hiring more staff in order to keep up with the demand for their products! All my expirinces have been great! On one order of mine I received 2 of the same quad "where the night is" instead of "where the light is"! I emailed them and shortly after they issued me a refund, sent me the correct quad and told me to keep the extra one! Also one time my package took about 3weeks to get to me so when I finally received it there was an apology note and some free items included! So in my experience they have awsome customer service! They are just very busy so be patient! Trust me whatever comes in that little (or big) colourpop box is totally worth the wait!

This was my second order with this company. My order was to the tune of $100.00 and change. For me that is a small order but nonetheless it's a good size order. Everything was fine with exception to the 3 lippies.

The Lippie Stix OH Snap smelled strong of gross crayon and not a good crayon, it is disgusting. That said, we all know when a lipstick smells like crayon it means it's OLD. There's no getting around that.

The Lip Crayon Chubby Bunny Bundle, both lipsticks have this sweet disgusting "mildew" smell. So bad that I had to wipe it off my lips.

In email I was treated like I don't know what I'm talking about. Customer Service said, "these are new" (in two emails). Like hell they are! All three of these smell so bad no one would use these and I mean no one. Their CS lies, does not care, and is not there to help. It's clear and evident.

I own a business, and if I conducted business like this, I wouldn't have one. I will never shop with this company again and I hope that you who have had bad experiences will understand that in a sea of gorgeous products and solid business's (unlike this one) there is no need to continue on and be treated like this, simply turn around, walk away, and never look back.

The bottom line is, the culture of a company begins at the helm and so, I blame the owners.

P.S. Thanks to Credit card companies, I WILL get my money back.

Worst service
November 14, 2018

I've ordered from colourpop before with no issues and orders have come relatively quick since I'm in Australia. This time around they have been useless. I put in an order on the 6th of October l, the order was then 'shipped'on the 9th of October. It is now the 15th of November and my order still hasnt arrived. I know international shipping generally takes longer but it's getting ridiculous. I've emailed them several time. They have offered either my money back which would be a total of roughly $172 or they would resend my order to a different address which isnt possible at this stage.
When they have replied the couple of times, all the replies have been the same copy and paste answers. All replies have been the same word for word minus the name of the sender.
As I've said I've ordered from them before with no issues and for some reason this time around is a pain.

I think I'm just going to get my money back and order from somewhere else.

Has anyone ordered from beauty bay by any chance?

So I was excited to get my $5 off coupon because I do love their matte lip stains and I wanted to get a nice fall color. I put in my order and I'm ready to check out on their website and I'm looking for the section to put in the coupon code. I don't see it so I assume that once I put my credit card info, I would then be able to put the code in. But it charges me full price plus shipping anyway! So instead of spending around $6 bucks like I would've like to, I end up spending about $13! I was furious because I wouldn't have purchased it had I not gotten a coupon! So I emailed customer service and explained the situation and they tell me that they have a special going on for a highlighter and that's why I wasn't able to use the coupon. I told them I wasn't interested in a highlighter and wouldn't have purchased with them if I had known that I couldn't get $5 off. They proceed to tell me that I can use the coupon for another purchase. Are you serious? I don't want to make another purchase I want my $5 off! So I demanded a refund. They ask me for my order number which I gave them but they never responded back after that, they never refund me, and still send the lip stain... I won't be purchasing from them again

Poor Customer Service

Long story short, they don't actually read the messages they get, and they will tell you the same thing over and over again unless you ask a direct question.
I tried to order a lip mask from one of their limited collaboration collections. It never showed up, and DHL wouldn't help me. Delivery was supposed to be on a Saturday. When I tried to tell Colour Pop that it had been 3 days since my order was supposed to be delivered and that I had checked with DHL, my neighbors, apartment office etc, they didn't even read my message and told me to do the things I had already done. After two rounds of messages and me becoming very angry with them for not listening, did they actually give me a timeline to wait to contact them again(after I had asked for one) for failed delivery. Fine. I waited the 5 business days as they told me, and they reshipped my order. With the reshipment, they didn't even enter my full address! So by the time it got to USPS in my area they had to return to sender. I messaged Colour Pop again and they didn't acknowledge my request for a refund, offered a coupon. I said that wouldn't work and I wanted a refund. They told me they couldn't reship the item again the the refund would be a "one time courtesy". I didn't even ask for a reshipment. I have never felt so ignored from a company before. They don't listen, and they definitely didn't care that I was upset with them at all. I will definitely never be ordering from them again.

A resident at my home and I ordered and paid for product and shipping with Colourpop. After placing my order I waited over a week with no communication as to why my items had not shipped. 30 minutes after I contacted them wanting to know where my items were- they sent me tracking. Cool. Three days later- I get a notice that my package had been delivered. Checked- and another resident at my house had received a package from them, but I had nothing.

Upon further inspecting, MY tracking number was on the parcel ADDRESSED TO HER. She opened it and THEY COMBINED OUR ORDERS IN THE SAME BOX. I'm sorry. WTF? Combining personal orders that were paid for separately into the same package has to be illegal. She technically had every right to keep my product as it was addressed to her. When I emailed customer service, they said they have no control over their system combining orders! WTF again? I've never heard of such a thing. They refuse to promise they won't do it again, and won't refund me anything, not even shipping. I made a claim with PayPal, but they are siding with the business and won't even look at the photos I have of all the items being in a box addressed to another person. I've never heard of such a practice- what if it had been a gift? Or my housemate decided to not tell me the orders were combined and kept my stuff? I'd be out $30 and this company couldn't give a care. Horrible customer service.

Long story short, I recieved the same template email reply from like 3 different agents... had about a 15-email chain providing every photo I could including swatches of the defective eyeliners... company would not offer to replace COMPLETELY CRUMBLING eyeliner pots. They sold me old product is my guess.

I am only giving them 2 stars because of the eyeshadows that didnt come broken or have the pans falling out, the quality of those is good.
I saw terrible reviews for them online and thought "those people are probably just complaining because their $#*! wasnt kissed by a company for once" and thought it wouldnt happen to me.

Yeah. Dead wrong. They are the worst company I've ever dealt with for literally anything other than a nightmare of an apartment complex I lived in one time.

Telling my thousands of make up friends not to buy from them. This company's business model is a complete scam and they know it because their email template responses indicate that they get complaints such as mine aaaaall the time. They just don't give a $#*!. Lol

Can't support it.

My advice? I worked for paypal for 4 years. If you buy through this company buy through paypal only. PayPal supersedes ColourPop's no return policy. If you file a dispute with PayPal they will pull your funds out of the merchant's account and give them back to you if you ship the products back.

My close friends and family have said plenty of good things about ColourPop and I decided that I would get those people Christmas gifts from ColourPop. So I ordered from ColourPop on Nov18 and did not get a package until Dec7 only to find out that it was someone elses package sent to me. So I followed the instructions on their website and sent them an email with pictures of the items I received and the box it came with. They replied to me saying that the items I ordered were discontinued and gave me a coupon code for the amount of money I spent. Mind you, the coupon expires in 3 months and cannot be used during a sale (I bought items during a sale too). So I replied saying that I was never notified that my ordered items were discontinued and even told them that I got a shipping and order confirmation email. They replied back saying that they can only offer me the coupon and not a full refund. So I replied again saying that I believe my situation was unfair and that I am being forced to buy items that I never intended to purchase. I also said I was thinking of reporting this incident to BBB and might file a dispute of charge with my credit card company. Finally, they emailed back saying they will offer a one-time courtesy refund. Although this transaction has been quite upsetting, I am very happy to receive my refund. I just wished it was easier and they would be more considerate of the situation. I dont think I will ever be ordering from ColourPop in fear that if there comes another conflict with my order, that I would have to jump through several hoops before finding a solution.

TL; DR: If you don't receive your order, open a dispute with your credit card company!

I've ordered for ColourPop successfully about 2 times before this last time. In the past, nothing out of the ordinary happened. But this incident really changed my mind and perspective.

I never received my order and dealt with dismissive and rude customer service. For about a month, the package's shipment details didn't update. I emailed them in the meantime and was told to wait and contact USPS myself (not sure why it was my responsibility as the customer but whatever). After this, I figured I'd give it some more time. Half of month passes and still no updates. I really out again and I'm told to wait. I wait a week and reach out again. This time I'm told that they'll see me "a one time courtesy" replacement (LOL, for an item I paid for!). When I respond to accept and confirm my address, they make no mention of their offer and tell me that I'll have reorder. They also mention that the package is being sent back to them and that they'll issue me a refund once they receive it physically. Again, I'm not sure why it's my $#*!ing job to ensure that they receive the package they sent out with their choice of carrier back! They even had the nerve to tell me to follow up with USPS to ensure that they receive it. Mind you, this is despite the fact that I sent them the USPS tracking details that show the parcel was successfully delivered back to them!

That's when I found this site and lost all confidence that I'd receive a refund. I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute. I imagine I'll get my money back for sure because anyone dumb as a rock can check the items shipping details and see I never received my order.

Never again ColourPop! You've lost another customer!

My package (within US) had gone missing so I reached out to ColourPop to look into its status. The first two times they told me to keep waiting and contact USPS. I did and asked ColourPop to submit a search request as instructed by USPS. ColourPop would not do it and just told me to keep waiting.

After two weeks I got tired of waiting and frustrated by ColourPop's lack of action, so I asked for a refund. Now they respond and asked me to submit a missing claim myself and they'll send a replacement. While they could've told me this information the first time, they waited till I requested a refund to tell me this. After I filed the claim, USPS responded saying that the package could not be found.

I contacted ColourPop a 4th time demanding a refund and specifically saying I do not want a replacement, but they just said they will be sending out a replacement. ColourPop's poor customer service has prompted me to do research online and according to the Federal Trade Commission,"If the seller is unable to ship within the promised time, it must notify you (the customer), give a revised shipping date and give you the chance to cancel for a full refund or accept the new shipping date."

I shared this information with ColourPop and they responded that they have a no refund policy. End of story.

Do you know what this means? This is basically saying that they can just take your money without making sure products arrive in your hands. Because, hey! We have a no refund policy!

If I had asked for a refund after I had received the products and did not want to keep them, they had the right to reject my request due to their policy. However, this does not apply to products that never reach customers!

They obviously don't care about their customers. Keep shopping with them if you'd like to have your money taken from you and enjoy frustration!
