Back in 1988, remote dog training collars were big and clunky, and they offered only one very strong level of stimulation. We also worked in a small 800 sq. Ft. Facility. Today’s collars are sleek, 4-ounce devices that offer a wide variety of intensity settings and non-stimulating tone/vibration options, and now we’re in a 10,500 sq. Ft. Space. A lot has changed since the early days! Electronic dog training collars are a big investment, and there was a need for repair options other than the manufacturer’s service. Collar Clinic decided to meet that need.
Our early customers also asked about adding collars or changing models for more range, and Collar Clinic stepped up again. Soon, Collar Clinic began to offer Guaranteed Reconditioned Trainers and within a few months became a dealer for new trainers too.
We were the first to offer trade-ins, sell refurbished collars, and offer repair service options. We now keep over 200 models and accessories in stock for immediate shipping. If a new collar is ordered before 3 pm ET we ship it the same day. Reconditioned trainers usually ship the next business day.
