Couldn t be more disgusted with the lack of professionalism and total lack of ability at Cobalt Mortgage. Our experience was nothing short of a complete and total disaster. We had things moving forward nicely with another company, but at the urging of a local Realtor, we agreed to give Cobalt a try. They had promised her to save us some money with our fees and said that they could get a better rate. In retrospect, our decision to go with Cobalt was the ABSOLUTE worst decision I have ever made! We were told by numerous people they will NEVER be able to deliver on what they are telling you they can do... well 2 weeks of circus style antics later, come to find out, EVERYONE who said Cobalt couldn t deliver as promised was right... and Cobalt was WRONG! It has cost us more money that what we would have saved, cost us precious time that we didn t have to spare, and we it looks like we will be having CROW for Thanksgiving dinner... in a hotel... which is where we will be living after Wednesday evening thanks to Cobalt Mortgage.
