They took advantage of half of my office, but *** T-O. R-R; (-E/C)_I-T-**C0(M)**** was able to assist many of us in recovering our losses.
The site is totally a scam. They are misleading in their practices for subscriptions. They don't communicate well and they don't remind you of subscription renewals. Therefore, I was charged for a whole other year after I tried to cancel. I was given no refund. Also, they have very misleading payment practices and you really don't make any money off of this site.
They are stealing money and ban account for no reason without any warning do not subscribe i will warn everyone to not purchase anything
Click snap cancelled my account for no reason and continues to take money monthly. No luck cancelling because they want you to sign in to do so but i get denied because they cancelled me, before I even posted anything!? No warning on when it renewed to cancel either! I would never recommend such a shady, unprofessional company to my enemies let alone friends! Heck even Rocket Money couldn't help me cancel just a total rip off! You've been warned.0 stars!
So I think for people looking for the payouts from this site- you are going to be disappointed. Firstly, the way they advertise how much they pay per view is misleading. Secondly, what they count as 'actual views' is what you get paid for. I do have some skepticism on this because on a photo of mine that had 130 'views' I found that what they counted as actual views was 5. There is a page where you can view details about your photos. It also says none of my photos have comments -which is false- so it's definitely tilted towards not acknowledging legitimate views and thereby avoiding paying people. I am sure they will respond to this review and claim bots are viewing the photos and that's a fine counter argument- but also false.
What I am really angry about is the theft of my photos. I came across one of my pictures on another site. I have not posted the picture myself and it is posted to an account that is not mine- that means someone was allowed to download/screenshot my photo despite CAS claims that they protect against that. I am going to delete all my photos and downgrade my plan back to the free plan - since they don't have an option to cancel- to avoid having the account renewed.
Their pay-per-view claim is misleading and dishonest. It is impossible to cancel your subscription. Customer service is horrible. They get away with this by technically not being a scam but it is a scam. Anyone has access to your photos and can screenshot them. Their count of how many people view and download your photos is inaccurate thus making your payment next to nothing. This website is deceitful and untrustworthy. Please please do not waste your money on this.
I thought to give it a try. Paid for the full year and didn't really use it. Felt clunky to go through the process of tagging and uploading photos. Abandoned it and completely forgot about it.
Fast forward a year later and they charged me for another full year. I had not used since the week I first signed up. I didn't ask for a refund at the time because I did try the service out.
No notice was given that a new year was about to be billed. I had forgotten about it completely. Took me a couple days to even figure out who the company is because the company they bill under is not ClickASnap.
Wrote to them and requested cancellation and a refund. They can check my account activity and see that it was not used for a year. They responded with a no and a very condescending email letting me know how contracts work... how I had the option to cancel at anytime prior and didn't... and that they warned when I first signed up that they would auto bill.
I know all of this, but we as humans sometimes forget. I forgot. I've forgotten with other companies before and I reached out to them and you know what they did? They refunded my money. They saw that I didn't use the product and they wanted me to be happy.
Companies that refuse to refund like this often rely on people's absent mindedness. They love when people forget because then they get free money. If they truly cared about their customers they would reach out (even automated) to say "hey, we noticed you haven't logged into your account in several months. Is there anything we can help you with?"
Additionally, a lot of other companies will send you a reminder "We're going to bill you for another year on 3/29/24" so that you have time to decide and aren't blindsided by a charge.
I received notification of said charge on 3/29/24 and immediately emailed them asking to cancel and refund. Same day. I think that's completely reasonable. Now they're keeping my money for services I will not use.
I would stay away from any company that treats clients like this.
As others have stated, you will find it extremely hard to get any money for photo clicks. I received nothing. If you then never use again, BEWARE, the company will take a further payment from you without prior notice. You will not receive a refund despite trying to explain. They are in breach of UK (where the company is based) consumer protection laws and should be shut down. The business model relies upon paid subscriptions to fund paid for photo clicks - it's like a pyramid scheme. Only the money everyone puts in can be claimed against, as only member clicks count. But you will never get enough clicks to even recoup your subscription. Avoid and save your money.
They give strange and false excuses for not paying. Since we do not have access to the data, the only option is to go to court.
If your account was banned without explanation, you can add: To make matters worse, my account was abruptly banned without any clear explanation. I contacted customer service for clarification but received no satisfactory response.
I have a free plan. At first I thought by signing up you get paid 4cents per view. I was thinking of upgrading my plan. Thank God I read the reviews and see there is no point of it. With a free plan you need 1000 authentic views to qualify for 1 dollar. You have to constantly promote your pictures and gather followers. It takes a lot of time. The views should be by paid customers to qualify for a withdrawal. At this rate I'll make $15 in 2 years. One things is that the users seemed to be polite and encouraging to post more photos. The photographers encourage each other. It can be a good platform to find photographers and view each other's photographs and styles. But not a good one to make money. You can use all that time and energy somewhere else.
I am not a professional photographer, but I've always been interested in photography, and I did some photography courses over the years. I have a large collection of photos which I built up over the years, and fairly recently I saw an advert of clickasnap.com where you can upload photos and get paid for each view you get on those photos. The ad that I saw clearly advertised that you will get paid 0.40c per photo view (Screenshot attached). However, that is all fake, and that is what the scam is based on. They make you pay for a subscription so you get paid a better pay rate. When I noticed that I wasn't getting the right amount of reimbursement I contacted them and Sarah from customer care was quick to reply to my concern. The problem is that her reply contained little valuable information, and insisted on validating the scam that their business is built upon, by saying that 0.40c means 4/10ths of a cent. Logically and figuratively it doesn't make any sense at all.
I have asked Sarah kindly to refund me the £59.99 and to cancel my account. But she refused, and there is no other way on clickasnap website to cancel your account other than contacting customer care. I advised her that I will be reporting their company to Advertising Standard Authority UK with regards to the false advertisement, to which she never replied back.
This is a UK registered company and I will of course proceed with reporting this company to Consumer Trading Standards, Advertising Standards Authority and the Citizens Advice Bureau.
I know three photographers who have had the payments refused for random reasons like they are faking views.
It's just a scam to rip off artists.
I paid for an account on the promise of earning money for views. I calculated how many views I would need to break even. I was so wrong! In the small print, they add that only other paid accounts views count and that a view has to be for a certain length of time. That was well hidden.
So at the end of the year I decided to cut my losses and downgrade to a free account. Well I could not figure out how to do this. I could easily find the buttons to upgrade my account earlier but not to downgrade. I ended up leaving it until later that day. I had completely forgotten that the company is in the UK a different time zone so before I knew it, they charged me for the total of the following year. Within half an hour, I had messaged them to cancel my account and then managed to eventually find out how to do this online. They would not refund my money even though I had not had any use of 'this' years account. Now they will not even respond to my emails.
So I guess I have an account for another year where the only photos I will be uploading are ones that let everyone know what a scammer company Clickasnap really are. Feel free to follow me on Clickasnap SBay
This company will make you pay for more than 60 euro for one year as subscription and then you earn good from your photo's more than 15 $,then they banning you bc you are not following the rules without any waring, thire rules its impossible for bigginer, don't trust them, your time and money never back, they took it, no refund.
I've been trying to cancel my subscription for over a year and I am still getting billed. If I try to log in, it tells me that my account has been deleted.
I purchased a one year subscription. I only used it the first 2 mths., I had lost track of it. When it came time for auto renewal, I tried to cancel. Clickasnap will not send you a courtesy reminder of upcoming payment withdraw due. But they will send you a notice of payment taken from you. On a refund request, Clickasnap refund policy says, "they must contact customer support WITHIN THIRTY DAYS of their purchase detailing the reasons for their concerns and providing proof to support their concerns". An auto renewal starts a new purchase with a THIRTY DAY TIME PERIOD. I tried to cancel on the second day of those thirty days. They would not honor their word. Clickasnap said to me in an email, "you are authorizing the auto billing of your subscription payments UNTIL YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL." and "Remember, you're in control of your payments and can cancel or downgrade ANYTIME." I find this refund policy a failure, swindling.

I'd like to share my disappointing experiences with Clickasnap. For two consecutive months, I was inexplicably charged twice, $7 each time, for the monthly plan before I noticed. I immediately set the monthly fee to $0.00 and requested a refund for the double charges. Unfortunately, these amounts were not refunded, and Clickasnap even debited my account again, despite my having set the monthly fee to zero.
Based on these observations, I can only caution against signing up with Clickasnap and express my belief that they engage in questionable business practices. Be cautious and reconsider your decision to join this platform.
