The 'Pay Per Letter' structure depends to a varying degree on the local agents reputation when recruiting new women in their home countries. These local agents 'check' women's documents, hire a photographer to take photos of her, translate her questionnaire profile to English and upload it to the "mother" site. The local agent has access to the woman's profile on the site, through an admin panel such as for example http://www.adminpanel.com.ua
And thereafter has the ability to alter, delete, or operate it.
Profits from the Pay Per Letter sites (letters, chats, video chats, gifts) are shared:
Firstly the 'mother' site (the one you usually see in Google's search results in a "sponsored" listing) gets about 50%. Then the local agent gets the remaining 50%.
The local agents quickly realised that the more women they 'signed up' to have in a database, and the more letters and chats they send, the more money they can make.
Women who seek a partner abroad have no desire to sit at the computer for eight hours a day typing letters to men, many of whom they don't even like. So, the local agents in Ukraine and former USSR began hiring translators who would communicate with the men, regardless of whether girls liked them or not.
With the political anarchy in Ukraine in recent years, there is almost no control over so called "marriage agencies". Whether the girl in the photos had any desire to marry someone from overseas became superfluous. The local agents decided it was easier for them to get 20% from 100 people than to get 100% from 20 people. They started paying percentages from their profits to "models" (pretty girls who pose for photos) and the "translators" (people who type their letters).
What you are seeing here is one of Ukraine's biggest exports worth multi-millions of dollars. The really clever bit is that the 'importer' pays the 'exporter' and rarely receives the goods!
The 'models' are paid about 10% of what their profile earns, and are also allowed to keep gifts. Translators are assigned 1-2 girls' profiles, and earn about 10-25% from what the profile earns (depending on the generosity of the agency owner), and also a small commission on gifts sent to "their girl".
Models are not required to ever meet suitors in person. Their job may be finished after the initial photo session, or they can, if they desire, attend meetings with their online suitors when they visit Ukraine and enjoy free meals and ask for more gifts, which they are allowed to keep.
In the beginning, when the men sign up, they begin receiving sweet love stories and confession letters from girls 20-30 years younger than them and don't think that paying $5 to $10 per letter is a big deal. That is of course until their letter writing, chat and video expenditure extends into thousands of hard earned dollars.
The majority of Pay Per Letter sites (letters, chats, video chats, gifts) are scams, if you are looking for a life partner you stand to lose thousands of your hard earned dollars! If you choose to use such sites purely as a social media activity and have some fun, then that is your choice.
