After trying several ways of trying to get our dogs across the country to our new home, and not wanting to drive myself due to the weather, we came across CitizenShipper! Although nervous at first using this site, we were able to find a great driver who transported our dogs for us! Very happy!

We are quite pleased with the service. They helped us find a pet transport driver in a pretty fast time frame. We were met with several different options to chose from and the process was pretty easy and hassle free. The only complaint we have is that there service fee is a little steep with it being 180 for us.

We needed to ship our doggy to Lousiana from San Diego. Once I posted on citizenshipper I received at least 10 quotes and was able to view those quotes and email back and forth with the perspective shippers. I wish the message board was a little more user friendly, but in the end we found someone within 24 hours.

I booked a trip with this company from California to Alabama. Paid aheavty deposit of 225.00. Not o nly was the driver slow to respond to my questions, many questions were unanswered. At the last minute I was informed that a vet certification was required for my cats. I vwas not able to get my cats seen in time of trip.

I asked for a refund, as I did not travel and felt information was late in getting to me. The company refused to give my money back.

CitizenShipper will upload details that you have about your pet and driving distances, and drivers can then respond and let you know how much they charge and what other services they offer. I found it very easy to navigate as drivers will initiate the first conversation and you can compare prices. It also provides some screening and vetting process as you can look at the driver's profile and ensure that they have good ratings and a small cancellation rate. My driver was excellent and my dog was shipped via car from the west coast to the east coast safely. I am very happy with CitizenShipper (they also gave me a refund when the first driver cancelled on us!) and would not hesitate to use it again. That being said, your experience will only be as good as your driver so make sure you talk to the driver first through the app!

The driver was great, communicative and responsive. My only problem is that the website fees are a bit high.

They call it a bidding site for pet shipping, I don't know about that, I had to reach out to everyone that I was interested in using. I also didn't like what appeared to be an automatic 5 star review when they were verified. Other than that, there were lots of choices and I was able to find the perfect shipper. They also have another fee on top of what the shipper charges that they don't make very clear. All in all I was happy with the site and would recommend them.

The platform is a great concept. It's so useful to be able to post your transport need and to do some comparison shopping to find someone whose dates and prices match your expectations. I had some technical issues with the platform that didn't allow me to see everything from the dashboard view.

It's a good platform to find local shippers. Their support via email is decent and prompt with response. Recommend going with shippers with good reviews only as quality of shippers can vary a lot

Citizenshipper is a pretty good shipper. Just make sure to read the reviews of the shippers before booking one.

Citizen Shipper made it to find good people to bring out puppy home! Once I posted my response, I received about 15 quotes

We used Citizen Shipper to find a transport service for our cats. We had lots of options from lots of trusted and highly reviewed shippers! We do wish the fees were a little lower or at least that we knew about them before we booked our shipper.

I felt the service the site provided was great. It allowed several bids and interaction between the bidders and customers so it made the services cost effective. The site was very secure and on top of potential scammers. Would def use it again.

CitizenShipper is a great concept for a website and service. Connects those who need something transported, and those who transport. That's all it is. I'm sure (and hope!) there are other websites that facilitate these transactions, hipefully for less or no charge at all. It is absurd to pay as much of a service fee as they charge, on top of the fee for the actual service. None of the service fee goes to the driver, which is ridiculous because citizen shipper doesn't really do anything in the grand scheme of things. The website works well for getting the job done though, I guess. Should be better for the ludicrous amount they charge! I have been connected with two phenomenal companies (Lickity Split LLC, and All Pet Transport LLC) and one individual, who was mediocre at best. All of which, citizenshipper charged a service fee for doing not much of anything. Oh well, I'm happy with the end result. Thanks Lickity Split and Jonathan, y'all were truly amazing at what you do, and great people overall!

If you need to get your pet somewhere but you can't take them yourself, this is the way to go. I've used CitizenShipper twice now to take my cat to and from Boston to South Carolina. It is a great option when you can't do it yourself and there are some people with great experience on there!

Experience was amazing with driver. CitizenShipper charges a hefty fee to use their services that is the reason I am putting a 4/5. My driver was so professional and kept us updated the entire way. CitizenShipper was a huge help getting my pup to me safely and affordably

Great site that connects freelance delivery people with people who need stuff delivered. Found someone to drive my Golden Retriever ~800 miles within hours.

The people on the service are great and it is easy to make a new shipment. The website doesn't flow great and the fee for using it isn't very up front but I used the service and it worked as expected. Well worth the time and seeing all of the reviews quickly made it easy to use in that regard.
